The pieces are all there but they are doing her disservice by not correcting the bad habits. A layup is a very high percentage shot and I would expect there are ways to improve that. It seems there is more of a push to break records of double doubles but it looks like it’s coming at the expense of winning games and going to the post season. CC’s game is overall more superior because her efforts have elevated all her teammates contributions and are resulting in wins. She honestly is more interested in winning that her own personal stats.

Isn’t it the main goal in basketball, men or women, to score points to be able to win a game so Efficiency is the key. How to tell that your player or players are Efficient, they Should have Consistency. I won’t argue that rebounding is also important but if that rebound is a product of a player’s Inefficient performance, then that doesn’t convert to points needed to win the game. It’s just an individual stat not a defining factor in a team’s scoring percentage:

The only thing I asked myself because I’ve noticed this a long time ago. Is she that bad of a player to make shots, or is she deliberately not making them to pack her stats of rebounds. Isn’t it the main goal in basketball, men or women, to score points to be able to win a game so Efficiency is the key. How to tell that your player or players are Efficient, they Should have Consistency. I won’t argue that rebounding is also important but if that rebound is a product of a player’s Inefficient performance, then that doesn’t convert to points needed to win the game. It’s just an individual stat not a defining factor in a team’s scoring percentage:

I live in the south and use the word ain't a lot because it's in our culture. I know when I'm not speaking proper but i barely have a high school education. But i would expect a college educated person to use proper grammar! I did retire a Captain with the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department and was a certified National Registered EMT, and i was lucky because of hard work, not being educated because i was a good firefighter. But i doubt in today's world i probably couldn't make Captain because my lack of education. I still don't know how to operate a computer because i didn't have to learn new technology, because we didn't use computers in my day, so i just got lucky

Reese is in no way a deficit to the Sky. She will improve, no doubt about that. Comparing her to Clark is silly -- two completely different types of players in 2 different offensive positions. You can debate who is more valuable, but that depends on what a team needs. If Rickea Jackson continues to play like she has, she very well will be the ROY.
Reese rebounds = .5 points each
Clark assists = 2-3 points each
Also, Clarks points, made or assisted on, is in the top three in the LEAGUE!

I don't think we can dismiss her ability outright . She is great at grabbing rebounds . And why aren't the other players around her grabbing those rebounds ? She is outworking them for the rebound . But to promote her "amazing" 20 rebound games , those rebounds aren't really altering the game . If she went 5 for 10 and grabbed 10 rebounds, is that worse then her going 5 for 19 and grabbing 20 rebounds ? It isn't when she is getting 4 rebounds on a possession that should have been a simple layup or a rebound and a put back . You also can't show that her rebounds are making difference for her team overall. If she was getting rebounds and then passing to her teammates for open shots, she would be getting assists . She had 10 offensive rebounds , so did that result in 10 scores or assists ? No, she made 4 shots for the game and only had 1 assist .

The only thing I asked myself because I’ve noticed this a long time ago. Is she that bad of a player to make shots, or is she deliberately not making them to pack her stats of rebounds. Either case this makes her a very piss poor player, who don’t care about the rest of her team mates to try to win the game so my eyes all these people thinking how great she is because of her rebounds need to go back and watch the games once again, even slowing down in slow motion if you need to and watch two or three shots, she misses either and get 2 to 3 rebounds and then you need to ask yourself is she deliberately doing this to stack her rebounds or is she really that not of great at making baskets. But these people also need to ask themselves why is she hurting her team and her teammates to stack her rebounds to make her look good just on paper if you don’t watch the game. That makes her a terrible person.
