Yes I am soon to be white 73 old retired science teacher. I grew up in Philly and like playing ball. My favorite player of all time and the best ever was a fellow Philadelphian Mr. Wilt Chamberlain. What I see in Clark’s game is a little Larry Bird and a little Magic. Bird could shoot, rebound and pass. They only problem he defeated my 76ers to much. Magic was a maestro like Clark. He saw things on the court before it happened. He passed his teammates open. He ran the break and involved his teammates in the symphony of his Magic. Clark is a combination of both of these greats. But she is also a long range bomber like Curry. She is now the reason I watch the WNBA. The on court thuggery directed at her she of been dealt with. The WNBA Commissioner’s office and the Refs are a joke. So I love the game Clark plays because I love the involvement of the entire team. I also think her press conferences show a thoughtful person. I must say if the Thuggish was directed at me I do not think I would be so professional. I agree with Sir Charles, women stop being so petty.

I think to many casual viewers Clark has exposed much of the pettiness, jealousy and bigotry of the league. By her character, Clark demonstrates sportsmanship, graciousness self-control that puts her team's welfare and success above personal glory. A'ja Wilson and Angel Reese demonstrate the opposite and that is one reason why they cannot get any traction. They are disliked for good reason.

There was very little growth before Clark. The growth the WNBA brags about is the years after COVID WHEN ALL STATS (attendance, gate, ratings) WAS at an all time low. Of course the years after were higher. At the beginning of the last year teams still had games with $6 tickets, while some CAITLIN tickets were $1000s.
