AlphaDream, the company that made the Mario & Luigi games, did get taken out but Nintendo loves talent so most of the staff got immediately hired into their own inner studios lol. The very definition of "under new management". Tbh its for the better since AlphaDream's higher up were doing shit like crunch.

In regards to all the sudden Nintendo game announcements (i.e M&L: Brothership, SMP: Jamboree, LoZ: Echoes of Wisdom, etc.), as a certain meme goes... *"I will be there no matter what."* Also, always nice to see Neko's reaction to these Directs. Her cheery mood always puts a smile on my face. :D Fun fact btw (tho it's not really a "fun" fact): There were certain games that were announced or had more info regarding them in the JP Direct that weren't in the EN Direct, including updates to Super Monkey Ball: Banana Bonanza and Ace Combat 7. Same goes for the JP Direct where it didn't have certain games that WERE in the EN Direct, such as Funko Fusion and Turok: Dinosaur Hunter as well as a game announced in the EN Direct but not in the JP one, MIO: Memories In Orbit.
