This! What I like about the gym trainers is that they're all distinct from one another despite being NPCs. The additional pianos, synths, and cheers makes Hop's theme so amazing. You can feel the desperation for Hop to win against you. Which makes you feel bad for defeating him in battle.

This game helped foster my love for Unova’s regional Pokémon, I can never understand how they get so much hate from the fandom. The story is really good too, as is the music. Special shout-out to all the Wish Park themes, the songs that play during the main story are some of the most chilling in the entire franchise, especially the Flight Zone. And the song that plays there during the post game is possibly the single most underrated song in the franchise, it’s that good. I will always with that this series was still around today, a 3D sandbox story-driven Pokémon game where you play as Pokémon is truly a great idea and we need more of it!
