Hey! I know it's actually only been 6 days since the last upload. Like I said, atleast one video a week which means that I will be uploading tomorrow! This cover hits close to home as the first game I ever actually played was 8-bit Sonic 2 on the Master System, and I never got past the first boss so quite obviously, I heard this tune a lot. You all are going to be hearing a lot more 16-bit renditions of 8-bit songs, if you can figure out why before I reveal why I'm doing this, I will be amazed. All of the graphics you can see here has come from me, myself and I which means none of this was grabbed from Spriter's Resource or some other website. The colour restrictions are fully in the limitations of the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, all I did was blur the background a bit to add that depth of field. Other than the blurring, this would be fully recreatable on a 16-bit game on this console at the time. For this cover, I mainly stuck to the same method I had for rearranging the Death Egg Robot theme, being that I stuck close to the original while expanding upon them. I will say I did not stray far from the original at all in terms of extras, however maybe that was for the better as you all can hear that this is pretty amazing eitherway. There were actually two versions of this cover. The old one stuck closer to Marble Zone from Sonic 1 16-bit but it just did not work at all, and on top of that, for that cover I actually used soundfonts instead of YM2612/Genesis plugins such as Genny, which drastically lowered the quality of what it could have been.
