My best bar story is from my time in Merida in the Yucatán. I stumbled into a bar filled with locals. It was myself and a couple from Canada who were the only foreigners. We were celebrities. The owner bought us drinks and later the three of us went up on the stage and sang and danced to the band as they played “Blue suede shoes” by Elvis Presley. It was amazing.🎉
Remember I Cancun around A.i. Bar it was pissing down & everyone was under cover of bar & everyone was happy. One only slightly drunk Canadian who was just happy & causing not a bit of problem at all & the f**** security & four of them dragged him away for causing shit. Poor bloke had done nothing but the Americans were clapping & cheering but we were left shouting to leave him alone. The hotel was like an American porn star resort. Omg it was disgusting & I’m very open minded 💕💕

One of the few videos where not only do you get to see the sights and sounds. But you get to experience the smells and tastes. Something about the way you describe what you are experiencing. Brings to mind the wonders of the smells. Keep up with the great videos. So down to earth, informative and off the beaten track. Its also great the way you interact with the locals just like you are a local. Thanks again for starting my Sunday on a high and hungry again.
I love it when the people have their business at their homes. Feels cozy Pulque! And the locals just sit down and talk to you like if they knew you. Those moments are worth gold for me. Salud!
Cuetzalan , what a great little town .👍Great observation, guy buying 2 kilos of tortillas, roasted chickens and cokes doing as you say " proper" and just enjoy the day with the family 💓. That's how it's done . Mexico, good food, good people( most of the time) , good times 🇲🇽🌮🌯. Buen dia Ellis y Alicia
Hi lads, how are we doing? Most your single videos featuring local market. That's what make me binged. Very interesting to watch to the end. I myself love explore market local market too. It's my routine every morning before go work. 👍👍👍👍👍
Hey guys! Every time I watch your videos I get hungry! The Tlacoyos you got there looked awesome! They are stuffed with mashed broad beans, they can be also stuffed with requeson or mashed beans. Deliseus!
The people who where sleeping on the sidewalk could be homeless or just drunk… maybe both. You don’t see it very often because people in small Mexican towns are very humanitarian, not like in the cities. They’re given shelter by locals.
You’re a legend, Ellis. Always going the distance, trying new things and being chill about it. But yea those Voladores guys that swung around in the air actually tour all throughout Mexico. I’ve seen them in Mexico City. Hey that guy at the end was a real d*ck from the start. Mocking you and laughing. He is the equivalent of a drunk that hangs around liquor stores. Avoid guys like that bro. Hope it doesn’t happen again. Keep up the vids!
I had forgotten! Did you know the very few times Mexico won a battle against foreigners was th batalla del 5 mayo.?? And the ones that made this possible were the indiginous people ftom this region! Zacapoaxtlas and surroundings. They dominate rugged mountainous settings.
Great vid Ellis! You're in Totonacapan kingdom. Very few regions in Mexico where indigenous people haven't forgotte their roots. Did you notice they talk in their own dialect and dress traditionally. Did you go to the pyramids? Their magnificent waterfalls? A walk tour thru their rugged mountains. Their flora and fauna are beautiful! Excellent selection! Oh! Their food...omg!
Well I thought you would of both had a go on the swings around the tree whilst necking a fresh cow milkshake tequila special lol. Great video again guys.
Another great video. I hope you’re traveling more through Mexico as I look forward to these Mexican videos. Orizaba Veracruz is a great place to visit , don’t go to Villahermosa Tabasco, it’s a s..t hole with awful locals. Thanks again
We have a few more videos! Then after travelling Latin America for a while we will be back for another big series, where should we go? Appreciate the recommendations thanks !!
@ Chiapas my favorite part of Mexico is worth touring. For the rest of Latin America I love El Salvador and Nicaragua and in South America my favorite is Argentina but I heard it’s a bit dangerous now.
@jonholmes1845 Will try visit next time!! Right now we are working our way down through all those countries! Maybe we will get to Argentina I don't know because I believe she is pretty pricey
It is funny that people can mess up making Jamaica. The Hibiscus flower used is super bitter and they use sugar to offset it and there is a point where it tastes natural or too sweet. I love making it! Sorbet, Ice Cream, and even Jelly I have yet to try but bet it would be good in each.

@@EllisWR Haha, not too far pal. My suggestion is that there are only a few counties that you need to visit, the essence is just that simple, maybe you can ask and find out about all the American culture in the US with its history.
