My best bar story is from my time in Merida in the Yucatán. I stumbled into a bar filled with locals. It was myself and a couple from Canada who were the only foreigners. We were celebrities. The owner bought us drinks and later the three of us went up on the stage and sang and danced to the band as they played “Blue suede shoes” by Elvis Presley. It was amazing.🎉

Remember I Cancun around A.i. Bar it was pissing down & everyone was under cover of bar & everyone was happy. One only slightly drunk Canadian who was just happy & causing not a bit of problem at all & the f**** security & four of them dragged him away for causing shit. Poor bloke had done nothing but the Americans were clapping & cheering but we were left shouting to leave him alone. The hotel was like an American porn star resort. Omg it was disgusting & I’m very open minded 💕💕

One of the few videos where not only do you get to see the sights and sounds. But you get to experience the smells and tastes. Something about the way you describe what you are experiencing. Brings to mind the wonders of the smells. Keep up with the great videos. So down to earth, informative and off the beaten track. Its also great the way you interact with the locals just like you are a local. Thanks again for starting my Sunday on a high and hungry again.

My suggestion is that there are only a few counties that you need to visit, the essence is just that simple,
maybe you can ask and find out about all the American culture in the US with its history.
You can also trace the footsteps of White American ancestors the majority of whom were English, if you are interested.
If you go to the South and West of the US it is easy to find Americans with English heritage. If you go to the Midwest then it is mostly German descent that you will meet.

I have Nahua ancestors yet I’ve never heard Nahuatl spoken by indigenous people.
You will get the occasional drunk outside of Wetherspoons, but you’ve encountered more canny gadgies than c-*ts to be fair.

ellis, EN LAS PULQUERÍAS LA GENTE PIDE A LOS QUE LLEGAN UN LITRO DE PULQUE, TE PIDEN QUE LES DISPARES, QUE LES INVITES, QUE LES COMPARTAS. NO ES ALGO EXTRAÑO NI MALO, SI TE OFENDISTE ENTONCES TE PODRÍAS OFENDER DE MUCHAS COSAS DE LOS MEXICANOS QUE TODAVÍA NO COMPRENDES. TE INVITO A COMPRENDER LO QUE TE GUSTA Y LO QUE NO. CREO QUE SI NO ENTIENDES, CUANDO TE VAYAS A INGLATERRA, TE VAS IR ENOJADO Y DESCEPCIONADO DE MÉXICO.

People don't shout at you for money without having a conversation first. That is downright rude and they only asked us cos we're white. Mexicans don't behave like that they are always extremely respectful.

Maybe he was offended that you would ask about his appearance? Different cultures do not like to be questioned about things like that...... maybe he thought you were making fun of his clothing by asking? Who knows.....it's too bad he was threatening towards you. Scary 😟

@bflower601 I was polite and told him I like the traditional clothing. He was just a bad person sometimes you run into them! Oh well. I've never been anywhere in the world that doesn't like to be told they look good!

Changing the subject a bit, did you know that there is a town called Real del Monte in the state of Hidalgo? This town was created by the English and they have English culture, such as food and an English pantheon. This town is very popular because it has been visited by Queen Elizabeth and the current King of England.

Now you can see that the Spanish Empire was the most humanistic and respected the rights of the indigenous people, something that the British Empire never did in its colonies...

WTF? ... are you high?....the word Empire and Humanistic dont go together for a reason, bro... just think about it.
And btw, Spanish Colonizers used to let their dogs (lebreles) go wild at old Mexicas to eat them alive just because they were complaning of the hard conditions or because when they did'nt walk fast enough to the mines they were sending them.

I mean that's my country and we had an incredible empire so I have to be proud of my people. I agree though the Spanish were alright in some places. All depends on the places they colonised I guess, over here there were ancient civilizations that deserved respect
