I cannot imagine my life without Led Zeppelin, & this is as close as it comes!!! Utterly INCREDIBLE! Thanks for bringing so many memories back. LOVED them back in the 70's & 80's,, & even more so now!!! New Rock bands just SCREAM into a microphone, & call it rock.. Zep SANG songs, used ballads, & ROCKED the WORLD with their rock & roll, & their SEXY bluesy tunes. They were the GREATEST of ALL TIMES!!!! ❤😅 Thank you, Led Zeppelin, for making my musical life WONDERFUL!!! 😊
Seen plant and page in Cincinnati in 95 but seen LED ZEPPELIN in 77 in Cincinnati it was my 1st concert wow no other bands and I've seen the greats but ZEPPELIN was by far the best
Page plays with so much emotion, he literally feels every note he plays! People make the mistake calling him sloppy, he's living in the moment, improvising, Page never plays anything like the original recording, if people want that, listen to the record! Nothing the same, two nights in a row. This band has so much energy. Page and Plant, still performing like in their twenties!! Brilliant!!
I was at the ALBUQUERQUE show the week or so before. What concerts used to be like ABOUT THE SONGS and we didn't mind if they didn't sound "just like the CD" Thanks for the memories, Jimmy Page modern day MOZART
He's a laid bk dude but sometimes I feel like he's ready to come for me. His bombastic physical tenacity, perfect rhythm and stage presence finally made me notice and appreciate the drummer as much as the others.
Unreal. Completely other level cosmic stuff. The rest of the world have no concept of what they missed with this. Instead MTV and the music industry decided to focus on Page's collaboration with Puff Daddy. Robert was like, "No thanks.", and left.
I agree with you....there's no other band that can make that kind of atmosphere....Pink Floyd is one of them.....but I think from my personal opinion....these guys, I mean Page and Plant and all the band....its another level of mistic and musical emotion....nobody can beat them....not even the Stones or the Beatles.

Wow, what a video. I saw this concert twice, once in Boise Idaho, and again in San Diego. Jimmy came out of his haze and remembered how to play guitar again, and Robert could hit those notes he couldn’t in 1979. Fantastic!
This is pretty damn good considering how late in the game it was! They still had the energy 20 years past their prime! I still miss Bonzo and JPJones but you can’t always have everything! Thanks for sharing this! 👏🏻😎

Love the drummer so exciting to watch. Idk why Page and Plant didn’t invite Jones! They should have with that drummer and that energy. They would have been called Unledded!🤟🏼
If they would have invited John Paul Jones, and used Michael Lee as their drummer, #1 They would have carried on the Name of Led Zeppelin, and #2 It would have been Disrespectful To John Bonham's son, Jason Bonham. @@krisstieghorst7415 The Firm? They haven't preformed since 1986. I don't believe they preformed any Free, Bad Company or Zeppelin songs.
I never said the shows bombed.
Page & Plant released 2 albums, the 2nd did not do well. Other than a couple of songs it was very weak.
No idea who Berty is.
Ramble on me hace TEMBLARRR...
Quite a show by these two gents, any idea who they are? They remind me of those blokes from Led Zeppelin from some years ago. Thanks. PEACE. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Love the drummer so exciting to watch. Idk why Page and Plant didn’t invite Jones! They should have with that drummer and that energy. They would have been called Unledded!🤟🏼
I agree 100%. Michael Lee was amazing. Unfortunately he died in 2008 of an epileptic seizure. He was only 39.
@@Boogieplex wow so young. R.I.P🙏
If they would have invited John Paul Jones, and used Michael Lee as their drummer, #1 They would have carried on the Name of Led Zeppelin, and #2 It would have been Disrespectful To John Bonham's son, Jason Bonham. As We All Know, In 2007 Jimmy and Robert FINALLY Called John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham and Became Led Zeppelin, One Last Time. Plus, Jimmy and Robert Made a Good Fortune Together touring as:Page and Plant doing World Tour's, Just the Two of Them making Millions and Millions of Dollars and paying Their Bass Player and Drummer only Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars. Page and Plant were Very Business about setting up an Album and World Tour's. Make No Mistake, Michael Lee and John Paul Jones, would have been on All these World Tour's with Them, It would be Priceless. I totally agree with You guys that Page and Plant should have been with John Paul Jones and Michael Lee, but it was All about the Band's Name, and of course Money !!!
@@mickuyleman802 having Robert and Jimmy tour was the closet thing to a Zeppelin reunion. They kicked ass. I have been bingin the live concerts of Page and Plant on RUclips and man Michael Lee what an amazing drummer. Her grabs my attention and I just watch him lol. I never knew a snare drum that long existed.
❤🔥☀
Damn how many guitars did Page used here? I grew up only seeing him on a les paul it feels weird seeing him rocking that strat not gonna lie...
Page ,Chopan🎉, Beethoven, etc.!
It's quite simple really, what's so good about Led Zeppelin? Everything!
"Houses of the Holy" was a creative Led Zeppelin album from back in the day as well.
No one comes close to Led Zeppelin ! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊

So Page and Plant best musical duo in the last 100 years? Please respond if you have another duo better than that!
Their best show ever imo. Thanks for the great upload and Kudos to Mr Stephenson for the great video recording. Such a treat!
I never watched any of this stuff as it just felt like a weird era to me (even living through it) seemed half assed. Al the acostic guitars, no Jonesy and a stage full of incense, rugs and 12 Morrocans with sitars. No Quarter was not my thing. So much so I ignored this whole Clarksdale era. What a damned fool i was, this is incredible, what i wanted from the start.
Happy you "got into it"!!! Sometimes it takes an age to appreciate something absolutely wonderful!! ❤
Led Zeppelin were the most talented artists... ever!
No Quarter was Jones.
Yes!
With internet I learn so much about bands and vintage video.
.. Im 70...so much music...
No lo entiendo, antes escuchaba un disco entero, ahora solo escucho un tema de ellos, vaya castaña pilonga
Ya era hora
Where in the heck RP get all that energy?😅
Some "people" call Jimmy sloppy. I pity those "people".
Do you have the September 24, 1998 concert? (Same location)
Yes
Whose voice opens the show?
With Page, the guitar isn't an instrument...it's an appendage!
Yep, and the only other two, Clapton and Moore
