I love the way you both interact with each other on the trail. This is a thing I need to learn from you guys. No matter the time, no matter the weather, you guys are always in control of the situation, and being pleasant with us at the same time (including protecting us for the rain in your jackets). I'm very lucky to be your subscriber, and will always thank you for all the knowledge you give to me/us.
One of the best episodes so far, and I loved when Jen said: " things are different in Australia" . Haha, I think I've heard this before!

Wow, thank you! That is one of the best compliments I think we have received. :) Being in control of yourself is one of the most important things when you go out into the wilderness. I can tell you that we have turned back on more than a few occasions because one of us wasn't ok with the situation. And that's OK. I actually like having to turn back. It shows us that we are aware of our skill and the situation. And it gives us a reason to train more and come back again and make the summit. I like to call them revenge hikes. ;) Also, we are very lucky to have subscribers like you commenting and enjoying the adventures with us. :)

Nick, gotta give you kudos. It takes some SERIOUS skill to climb what you did AND hold a camera at the same time. Nice job.

Thanks Ron! Thankfully Jen was close enough to toss the camera to so I didn't have to turn it off on the more difficult climbs. :)

Sounds good. Keep an eye on the weather. I'm in Kirkland and we are getting slammed with rain and thunder/lightening. ttyl

We made it back safely. Although it reminded me of driving through thunderstorms back in Florida. As for the packs. Jen was wearing an Osprey Aura 65 AG and I had the discontinued Gregory Contour 50.

Nice job on this video. Must be the way you shoot that makes us feel like we are hiking right there with you. And like a good program on tv, we can't wait for the next installment. What kind of packs are you and Jen using Nick?

Thanks Ron! Let me get back to you on the details of the packs, we are up in Birch Bay right now. But in this I am using a Gregory and Jen has an Osprey.

I stayed at the campsite at 31:30 when I did this walk a few years ago!
Edit: Should have kept watching before I commented! Hope it was as cozy for you as it was for me.

I am enjoying the series even though I have NO desire to visit Australia. You guys are always pleasant to follow around. I don't mind at all when a China-man calls me an America-man, so you should be OK. I did not like it inside your jacket, dude. That weather was crap! Terrestrial leaches...hmmmm.

Thanks Patrick, at least I was carrying you around in my jacket. ;)
