Inexcusable. I met him 8 times and we got to hang out some . What a charming guy … I was nervous to meet him since his reputation preceded him . (Trouble waiting to happen.) He immediately put me at ease and we talked for quite a while in Memphis before and after a show about the time “Hindu Love Gods” LP was released. I had a vinyl copy and he had not yet SEEN one so he poured over every inch of the cover, inner sleeve and vinyl itself meticulously . I ask if he would sign one album but he cheerfully cheerfully signed my whole LP collection and 2 copies of that Rolling Stone magazine. I treasure the conversations I had with Warren . I’m here to tell you the man was a genius . 🎸❤️✌️
8:45 good point about the rock hall picking people that will get people in front of the tv sets. Keeps them relevant and in the public eye that way, opposed to grumpy old guys that dont care and might not even show up!
Warren zevon in a way needs his own hall of fame. He s the ultimate outsider The hall almost doesn’t deserve him. The book is terrific , get the book. Having said all that , I really hope he gets in at some point
Suddenly Susan show with Rick Springfield and Warren was great. Both should be in. So should Marty Robbins, who wrote and recorded rock n roll songs early in his career. Marty recorded over 500 songs and wrote and recorded over 200 of them.
What about Tull?
One of the Rock Hall's many egregious snubs!

@MrLuridan Ian is not an easy guy to get along with at the best of times, so hardly surprising. Fantastic song writer and solhowman though and yes they should definitely be in the rock hall
I want their to be a rock and roll hall of fame But I know down deep inside I think it’s a joke.
He needs to be inducted
