Hi, Kirk I love your channel thank you. I have Fuji Klasse W and I would like to buy the cable release have you some place where can buy it or ordering.
Hi! I was fortunate enough to find one of these laying around. I don’t know much about photography. The auto mode does pretty well for me but I’m traveling at the moment and would like to take some better photos! Do you think it possible to give me a little run down on the settings. Mainly how I would use the two dials And what settings to use fo say a portrate, mountain scenery, maybe a sunset
I really only used the exposure compensation dial and set it to +1 to +2 most of the time, since color negative film loves overexposure (and HATES underexposure.) As for shooting a portrait, set the camera to 2.8 to get a shallower depth of field. That's about it really :)
Hello Mastin Labs, have you found a good place to get these serviced? The flash on my no longer charges up (probably a simple capacitor or electrolytic issue) and looking to get it repaired.
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a good place. I had an error with mine and no shop in the united states could fix it. I ended up buying another one.
I just found the video. The price stated is incorrect. Ebay is the best source. If you can try to get photo gear from Japan. It is very well taken care of over there. If you buy from Japan keep in mind that import tax might apply.
The AF on this camera is incredible. It was my most used film camera over the last 10 years and I can't recall missing focus on any shot. I can;t say that about any other camera I own, digital or film :)
Fuji should start manufacturing these again. They’d make a killing I’m sure!!
I agree 100%!
I miss these! Also I REALLY want a Fujifilm Klasse W.
Hi Kirk! When using exposure compensation, do you note that as pushing/pulling the film when getting it developed or is that something else? Thanks!
Yes, absolutely. Gotta note it. I would use a sharpie to mark my rolls with a +1 or +2

unlike a lot of photographers you really had an outstanding review... taking photo really is not about how sharp is the lens or etc.
Thank you Henry!

How do you find out how many were produced? I'd love to know how many Klass W were produced.
It was a RUclips documentary on this camera. I can't recall the name of it though....it was years ago.
Good camera👍
True!
I want that shirt lol
where can you find it for the price you stated

Unfortunately, they have skyrocketed in price. I guess it's because they really are one of the best P&S film cameras made.
Ooof, I wish those prices were still true. Today, they cost at least double of what you said in that video.
It's always going up in price unfortunately.
prices for this obviously skyrocketted... thoughts on buying @ $1000+?
It's such a great camera and I think only 800 were made. It's a problem with supply and demand unfortunately :(
they rarely pop up under $600 anymore and when they do they are gone instantly.
Float tell me about it. I sold my Klasse W 6 months ago for $480. It seems they now command $800. Should waited longer before selling.
1100 bucks plus now!!
if you were stuck on an island............. you probably can't get the photos processed.....................
true
I dont trust the AF of these Point and Shoots. Also no filter threads. :(
