  • Cricut Infusible Ink launched last summer... and I haven't heard much about it for a while. I still love it! It's easy to use and PERMANENT. It completely infuses into your shirt blank (so long as it has a high polyester count)! The science works with poly fibers so it, unfortunately, will wash out of natural fibers like cotton or linen. You do not need to use Cricut blanks, but look for shirts with a poly content above 90%! Check out this tutorial to master all things Infusible Ink!

Beautiful! I’m saving up to use this tool for quilting projects. Therefore, I’ve been binge watching every cool content creator on this platform that I can find that cuts their own fabrics. There’s not nearly as many awesome as I thought their would be. As long as I find a few communities like yours, I’ll be in heaven! Peace and blessings to all. Stay safe! 🦋😷

I did one onesie in Infusible Ink. However, because it was 100% cotton, the colors were not as vibrant as they should have been. :P

Infusible ink needs synthetic fibers to bond to. Cotton is natural and typically will wash out. 90% poly is best!

    Can you use organic cotton?

You cannot. It needs to be polyester.

I bought a bunch of the tshirts and onsies on sale last week. I was very disappointed in the sizing! And it's a hassle to use! Not easy at all! I will finish out with the infusable ink transfers i bought, but I will not purchase any more. Cost + hassle + sizing = a thumbs down on all things infusable.

Lynn Plagens make sure to provide this feedback directly to cricut! For me the sizing has been spot on, but I’m sure cricut would appreciate hearing this from you! :)
