This was an amazing video. It's charming and funny. You have a great eye for catching beautiful scenery. I think my favourite bit was the walking through the forest shot where the camera moved with you. It made me feel like I was there. Bravo.
Really cool hike Ryan especially talking with animals as your friends, feel like to back the mountains in my backyard very soon. Love from Nepal 🙏 Dhanebad
I did this hike last year and when we arrived at the hut we were so exhausted but proud we made it. Got inside and a family had made the journey with a 2 year old on their back 😂
I think West Matukituki valley after Aspiring Hut is one of my top favourite places in NZ. Stayed in French Ridge Hut on the opposite mountain, just fantastic. Liverpool Hut sounds like a great place for a re-visit.
I stumbled across your videos a couple weeks ago and all your content from the snowboarding to the hiking is great. I love how wholesome and real you are. Keep it up man!
You are one of the reasons I picked up my GoPro this past summer and started a RUclips Channel. I love the work you did in the annapurna's. And someday I wish the hike Annapurna base camp. I am a big fan of your work. My question, do you get flaged for using other artists music? Such as Neil Young.
Thats awesome Bob! the video just gets copyrighted. which means if the video makes any money from ads, that money will go to Neil Young and not me. It does depend on which artists and songs you use though, some songs if used will be blocked in all countries. you dont know until you upload the video.
Please Ryan when you get a chance, please check out my RUclips site. Any advice you can give me would be well appreciated. m.ruclips.net/channel/UCkyh6pg21Lv7bpQPLwyAFZw

Thanks for bringing back the memories. Did that hike 15 years ago now. Legs are still burning from the near vertical last mile. Also the hut back then was an orange corrugated shell tied down with cables! Looks luxurious now.
My wife and I were planning on going to NZ from UK this month. Damned covid! Would have been 4th trip. Fell in love with the place. Wish I had been able to have got there when I was your age. Prob too old for most of the walks now. Loved the fantails, didn’t much like the sandflies! Watching your videos is living vicariously. I hope we will be able to get there again before too long. Regards, Mike
You’re never too old to get out and walk in the mountains mike, I shared this hut with a couple that were upper 50s early 60s and they know heaps of people older than they are that are out hiking. Age is just a number mike!
Thanks Ryan. It might depend on how long it is until we can get back. Will try and practice on the hills and mountains here. Just not quite the same. NZ has a special place in my heart! Stay safe
Man New Zealand looks so good. So much wilderness and space! We were going to emigrate there six years ago, but in the end it was just too far for my missus and ageing family in the U.K....and I’ll go/not anywhere for her. Your flat in Queenstown looks cool too, great views across the lake. Must have been pretty hard to leave for...Norwich??

I'm kind of surprised to see you using copyrighted music in your video. Glad they didn't take it down so that I could enjoy your hike. Cheers.
I always use copyrighted music, I just can’t make money on the video. Thanks Jeff!
