Because If you play the game they use "Invaders must die" in the level, but for those who play streamer mode (so they don't get copyright claims/strikes on their vids) they made versions of their songs that sound as close to the tracks they liscenced so they didn't have to change any of the levels to match the rythm

Nailing the power of Invaders Must Die without straight up covering it seems like a herculean task, and I don't fault these guys for apparently not hitting the same high. But! Taken as it's own? This is still a fantastic track and arguably just has to deal with a genre the band doesn't seem as suited for. The whole tracklist is stellar top to bottom, and even if this is a sore spot it's *purely* because of how unparalleled the original track is. Still excellent.

Can I be honest with you all for a bit? I don't even care that this is obviously supposed to be the streamer mode version of Invaders Must Die, the lower-key melody makes this an absolute vibe for me, and I already listened to this while sleeping way more often than the licensed version.
It's curious how much doom was a theme in Rockefort's chapter, the prelude before the cannon segment, the license song having "die" in the name, plus the time for the alternative original song being marked at 4:44 minutes, and the boss himself being an *immortal* werewolf.
Actually, every boss and part with a licensed song got an alternate version with "streamer mode ON", basicly a very similar music but that is not the licensed one to avoid copyright strike for streamers. :)

I don't mind this but it just feels like something is missing. This feels like a bass line but there's no melody. It's alright but it just feels off, like it keeps building up to something then failing to deliver.
