How to adjust idle speed on YP250/VOG 260, Yamaha Majesty 250 Scooter

How to adjust idle speed on Yamaha Majesty 250 YP250 using a Handheld Tachometer.
It's really easy to adjust idle speed and air/fuel mixture screw. You just need to take off the seat, gas tank cover and gas tank in order to access the carburetor, you don't have to take anything else off.

Most Chinese Scooter thats 250cc/260cc uses the engine from Linhai called VOG 260cc, which is actually a 257cc engine of a complete copy of the original Yamaha 249cc used on Majesty 250. Yamaha and Linhai had a joint venture business relationship since 1994, so the linhai engine is likely developed jointly with Yamaha, and most parts are interchangeable.

On Majesty 250, there is 3 holes with caps in the trunk which give access to the screws so you don't need to remove any part to make the adjustment

Amigo soy de chile y me gustaria preguntarte que cdi tiene su moto y si tiene el circuito electrico de su moto.ya que compre un motor identico al de su moto y se lo coloque a un buggy que estoy haciendo.pero no se bien la parte electrica si el cdi es de corriente continua u corriente alterna.por favor si me pudiera ayudar🙏🙏

This 1998 Majesty uses a carburetor and is not CDI/Fuel Injected
