I like the Garmin messenger. I haven't really had the option to use many Garmin devices in the past.... but getting ready to go on an Elk hunt with my brothers in the next few years one would come in really handy.
I got a fenix 7 solar as a gift from my family and love it. Super easy to use and feel like I never have to charge it. If I were to win I'd definitely go with the inreach messenger. I'd use it for a future elk hunt out west. Thanks for the great product reviews glad to see the channel growing
Ive had the Garmin InReach mini on my wish list for some time. Now that our kiddos are starting to venture with us in the backcountry it seems more of a necessity than want. Some anxiety starts to build when your kiddos are scaling rocks and zipping fish hooks around. Thanks for the excellent content and the giveaways. I would greatly appreciate the Garmin messenger

I would be absolutely terrified to fling an arrow over the Xero at 80 yards. I don't trust myself nearly enough for that. 🤣 I'd probably go for the Instinct. New job has me in the urban jungles more than the backcountry.
Loved this overview! I currently run a fenix 6 daily & just upgraded to the InReach mini from the Explore. I didn’t know about the app quality, now I feel like I should have the messenger, lol
Thanks for the review, the last 2 weeks i view a lot of videos on you tube. I dont need a smart watch but need a sport watch. Garmin is the right choice for me,good battery life and i like the look of it. Only i dont know yet what model i want get. I have a wrist from 16.5 centimeter , i must look what looks good for me.
Been rolling with my G-Shock for about 6-7 years now and in much need for a new watch. I don’t want an Apple Watch but would definitely love a Garmin Instinct like this!
I used the garmin inreach until I lost it in a river. Then started using inreach mini 2 because I was able to buy it on sale. Wish I had my full sized inreach back, but the mini 2 works well enough. I have been looking at the instinct for years now so that is what I would choose.
@@redbeard_outdoors Yea, definitely hurt the wallet. The carbineer somehow unhooked from my belt when my kayak capsized. I like the mapping features on the full size.
I have the instinct and am wearing it currently. I love it for hiking and hunting because I can set routes on it and save my phone battery while out. I also have the garmin messenger, and have used it for rafting, hiking, and hunting. Even used it to help someone out on top of a mountain during when we were cutting down our christmas tree. Guy had locked his keys in his truck and I was able to text his brother to bring up his spare key. I would love to win a Zero, but since that isn't an option a messenger so that I can share it with my hunting buddies and take my 11 year old hunting with confidence he will be alright if we get separated.

Garmin makes some awesome products. I’ve had the fenix 3 and now the 6. Used them in the military.

Love my fenix 5. It’s been through the wringer as I work construction, and hasn’t missed a beat.
I've run all types of Garmin handheld GPS and RINO GPS communicator; I would love that Instinct for backcountry GPS functions always available.
