acer ezel was realesed earlier, magic keyboard have two angles - 90° and 130° can not rotating strong as somebody thought. it's not for drawing, it's for typing. in fact soft cover (5$) better for drawing because having 30° then magic keyboard (near 300$)
Yeah, because people need this feature and so many laptops doesn't have it. For creative people it means better workflow, because it's faster, easier and you don't need to remember about dongles.

This is the first video from your channel I'm seeing and god, the reviewer is just really sympathic and has a lot of charisma. I know that's not the point but SUBSCRIBED :3 As for the laptop itself: I want. I want so badly. I don't have room for a workstation and I've been getting really used to laptop work. I have a convertible right now too and it's EPIC but I think the hinge design of the Ezel would REALLY elevate it for me even more. So I do want to save up money for it! I just hope it will be available long enough! and that I can hear more reviews to make sure I won't be making a wrong step with it. Until then I will just buy another keyboard once I move and use my convertible as a screen haha. Budget Ezel. I also don't really want to buy something new if this one is still working so. Fingers crossed this one will be available to buy for a while!
When companies realise functionality beats aesthetics. Am glad companies like Acer follow their own philosophy and not try to be a bandwagon of Apple. The Laptop is a complete package for me. Nice review Sara.
Honestly I really vibe that Ezel Display. I can see myself not needing my iPad Pro as can do all the drawing scribbles with this at great angles 😍 And can spec it out to be the same as my main editing rig, man that's one nice laptop! 👌 also ripper review, and lol'd that it has "all the frames" for gaming, very good to know 🤣

Thanks for the video. This thing was available to buy for about a week in June on Acer's website (six months after CES). I've been intersted in getting this laptop but Acer has been so slow at making more available. Also, the ConceptD Ezel 3 is supposed to be available in August but we've heard basically nothing since Acer's conference reveal over a month ago. It's frustrating that a company shows off a new product, sends it to reviewers, and then makes it difficult to find or buy. I'm losing interest fast Acer.
Disappointment all around. I've been waiting to hear more news and release dates too. It's nice that Sara and Dave2D got the Ezel 7 and Ezel 3, repectively, but what they do focuses more on video editing. Acer needs to send some review units to digital artists so they can really test out the pen feature and responsiveness.
I've had the acer aspire r7 for a few years now...and I've LOVED IT. I'm so glad that this is the direction they continued to run in and this will be my upgrade...if i come around to needing one.
The robustness of the easel screen is very nice to see. I appreciate the call out of ergonomics on the couch where you want the screen just a little closer. Pretty dope all-in-all.

Really love how pragmatic this laptop is, I'm not sure if I could choose it over a MacBook Pro or a Surface but wow - hats off to Acer for just making a sick laptop that they wanted to make.

Loved the demo!! You really rock!! This is an awesome laptop! Would love it with the 32gb (64gb or more would be nicer! )I will have to look at the SSD /NVME offerings and is it user upgradable... I really want it...The only downside could be the hinge in the middle of the screen.. But only time will tell if it holds up...I really love the pen with a garage! Given the size and power, I wouldn't take this out and about unless it was to a place where I could plug it in. Good desktop replacement that has enough power to do whatever while still being relatively convenient to take out if you need to. I plan on carrying a Samsung tablet for sketching out of the house and can finish up on the conceptd 7 when I get home
That laptop looks like it would be amazing for editing in Adobe Lightroom! Really love being able to edit photos on my iPad with the Apple Pencil, much more fun, precise, and overall just better experience than using a mouse on a desktop.
Nanogalaxy I'm just replacing my Vaio flip now. This hinge is way better, too, but price is pretty high. Not complaining it's a good value for what you get but right now I have a Samsung Book Flex on order. Love that there are so many options now! When I got the Vaio 7 years ago that was pretty much it lol.
I've had the Acer ConceptD 7 Ezel Laptop - CC715-71-72JD for the past 3+ months. I'm a software developer, DBA, and Video Editor. The screen is nice and bright but using it as a tablet isn't very productive for video editing, or anything where you want the keyboard. Windows Tablet Mode is most useful when you can do everything without a keyboard, but if you need keyboard shortcuts then you're back to notebook mode where you open up to get to the keyboard. And if you're going to use the laptop in notebook mode then I'd prefer a Dell or Lenovo that's slimmer and lighter and cheaper, and better supported. DEAL KILLER - The laptop won't take power from your USB-C dock so you have to keep it plugged into the huge AC Adapter. And I haven't been able to find a 2nd AC Adapter to purchase so I have to constantly carry around the heavy AC adapter that came with it. I would NEVER have purchased this laptop had I known this. There are other faults, such as having to use "Driver Booster", a 3rd party app to install updates. And good luck just finding this laptop to buy because they just trickle out a few here and there. Overall it's a decent laptop but I wouldn't buy this again or recommend to anyone but artists that can just draw all day long without using a keyboard. The main attraction for me was the 2070 GPU, which wasn't offered in the Dell XPS. The Dell XPS 17 offers a 2060 though… I've been spoiled by Dell for a long time and should have stuck with them.

You should look at the D9...it's expensive, but everything is better than the D7 and it comes with a wacom emr stylus

The Hinge Reminded me of the good old Sony VAIO FLIP series laptops.
