  • The first (purple cream) Rheingold model is made by Wilag; the locomotive is an ASTER Baureihe 01.
    The second (blue) Rheingold is by Märklin with a baggage car by KM1; the locomotive is a Baureihe 01.10 from Kiss.
    The third (blue/cream) Rheingold is by Märklin with a Baureihe E10 also by Märklin.
    The fourth (red/cream) TEE Rheingold is by Márrklin with a Baurehie E03 by Wunder.

    Great theme Fred, the progression over the years of coaches and loco's is very interesting both visually and historically.

    Nice, I have the creme-maroon Rheingold train set from Marklin, but without the BR 101. Maybe in a few years I can snap one up from cheap. Especially that the new version is out now.

    Unforunately there was no E103 locomotive in service by the DB like there was no V212 or V220
