    FAQ:
    » What brushes do you use?
    I practically just use the default brushes of Krita, there are only two exceptions, a pencil-like brush that I use for sketching, that one is only a slight edition on the pressure of one of the defaults (Pencil-3 Large 4B), and a flat brush that also started as a default brush that I keep changing to my liking (basically Bristle-5 Flat but adapted to the Color Smudge Engine).
    » How to have a second view for the drawing?
    You need to have the sub-window mode activated (Settings → Configure Krita → General → Window → Multiple Document Mode), then go to Window → New View and there you select the already open file.
    » How do you place your references there?
    The references are in a different program called PureRef, it lets you keep an always on top window, it's incredibly useful!

    The patience needed to make digital art is insane. Dont your eyes hurt from looking at the screen for so long?

    • @naiyenzo
      @naiyenzo  3 года назад +17

      Hello! Thank you for watching.
      I don't usually stay too long in front of the screen for that to happen, I only work from one to two hours without stopping to do something else. Although I do tend to have shoulder pain if I draw too much, that's something I need to fix.

    This is late but I'm learning krita and I don't find so much good tutorials to teach me some things to begin.
    how did you put the references? I can't put them
    Love your drawing btw, I don't know how to draw animals and it's honestly cute how it seems easy of you, that must have been hard work to learn

    • @naiyenzo
      @naiyenzo  4 дня назад

      Hi! The references here are in a different program called PureRef, it lets you keep an always on top window, I highly recommend it.
      Krita has its own option for references, but they move with the canvas, so I rarely use it. It's also helpful to know you can have multiple files open (so you could have your references in another Krita file or even have two views of the same file, as I have in the video), but you need to have the sub-window mode activated (Settings → Configure Krita → General → Window → Multiple Document Mode).
      Try looking in the official Krita RUclips channel, I believe they have a playlist with the basic things.
      At the time I draw this, I used to do studies from cat photos and study some basic anatomy, I learned a lot that way, I definitely should do that again.

  • @JessTop
    @JessTop Год назад +1

    This is beautiful! Did you study graphic design or something related to art to draw like this? 🤩 (this is a translation because I don't speak English hehe)

    • @naiyenzo
      @naiyenzo  Год назад +2

      Thank you! Most of the time I have been self-taught. I would say the most helpful thing is to do studies of the things you want to draw.

    It's fantastic art! Really. But can I ask how did you do this second window?

    • @naiyenzo
      @naiyenzo  3 года назад +1

      Thank you! Do you mean the second window with the same drawing?
      You go to "Windows" on the upper bar then "New View" and there you select the already open file.

    i'm curious about the pureref window you have, i downloaded pureref but whenever i put krita in full screen the pureref tab disappears and i even put it on "always on top" so can you not fix it and it's just like that or is there a solution to this? btw your drawing is absolutely stunning!
