    Wonderful :)

That's it, I have finally ordered this book! I've been debating about it for quite some time now, but your video was the last impulse I needed :)
I've ordered the paper version, because I do like to go crazy with my pencil in the books.

+Wolf Of Coins Yes! This is a pencil-hungry book, too. It's amazing. I can't wait to hear what you think about it.

I've finally ordered this gigantic tome. I've got a Noblet in hand and I've been wanting this book for months. Thank you for the review and the demonstration, it's SO INTERESTING (there I said it too). I can't wait for it to get here, it's not like the usual "'gets here tomorrow!" book from Amazon. Lulu takes a few days to get it printed and then shipped. I wonder if I should have ordered it spiral-bound? I wasn't going to get the color version at $150 or however much that was - yikes! I don't know, anyway, I'm really looking forward to this. Thanks again.

I have already informed the Hubster that he is getting me this book for my birthday. 😉
I, too, struggled to free myself from the esoteric Tarot mindset, or rather, I didn't really understand that there was another way of relating to Tarot, until I started reading playing cards - my Marseille equivalent. For years, I made Tarot reading much more ‘intense’ than it needed to be, to the point where I felt I wasn't woo-woo enough and nearly gave it up. But playing cards opened the door to the kind of cartomancy that works for me. After a while it sunk in that I could apply those same principles to Tarot 😆 and now I'm in my groove.

As for excessive use of the word "interesting", of which I am also guilty, I think it's simply a side effect of a fascination with and curiosity about life. Things that appeal to us are *Interesting!* I also try to switch it up a bit with "I like this", but that doesn't do the impact justice. Stimulating my curiosity trumps appealing to my tastes. (INTJ, lol)

+Judy Kerr Yes!! I'm my case, weirdly, Lenormand opened a door for me. Even though I really have zero success with Lenormand, I started to wonder whether tarot could do something similar. And boom, mind blown. I'd kind of like to explore playing cards. I hadn't really before, because it always seemed sort of spooky, but reading so much lately about different cartomancy, I'm curious.

Ha! Lenormand is a gateway drug. Short story long now. I'm well old enough to have embarked upon my card reading career pre-internet. Come the interwebs, and decent broadband(!), and I decide it's time to try to find out more about a fortune-telling deck that had belonged to my grandmother. In my search, I "discovered" Lenormand. Ob-Sessed. But not all that successful, either. Even so, I began to sense the potential. So then I tried working with playing cards. I'd had my grandmother's meanings for *years* (so blessed, I know), but I'd found Tarot enough of a struggle - how was I going to read cards that didn't even have pictures?! Now I had an inkling, and slowly but surely it all began to click into place. The results were so "freeing", as you described it, that I felt confident enough to apply the same general principles to Tarot. And the rest, as they say, is - well, me still mucking about frankly, but I'm loving it now. 👍

Aaaaand yet another book goes onto my wishlist. I'm going to need to start sleeping less to squeeze all of these books into my brainbox.

I agree that I am never bored when reading this book. I ended up pretending I was rich and I bought both the ebook and the physical paper copy. But it was so very worth it. I love that the ebook is full color. The art and information are inspiring. And, bonus, I can write in the book because I own it. Jean-Michel is probably one of my favorite TdM authors...so far. Thanks for an interesting video and the demo. Cheers to you and yours.

Lol at 'in lieu of pouting' 1:13 :) And how serendipitous as my Noblet arrived this afternoon. This book has been on my radar for a while now so interesting to hear your experience with it. I used the Dynamic Hexagram spread last year as part of a Marseille exchange on AT, it was pretty interesting. And yes to the new Ben Dov book, looking forward to that. Thanks for sharing.

+Dance of the Soul Tarot I'm such a pouter. Frown. But I am so excited to hear what you think of the Noblet! And I can't wait to chat about the Ben Dov!

Do you film via a mirror rather than direct to camera? (All your text is reversed (until you get to the spread)) Very good review (I was a student of the original correspondence course from which it developed - and agree wholeheartedly in recommending it)

It's Mac Photobooth. Does everything backwards. There's probably a way to fix it, but I don't know. I'm super jealous of your having taken that class. I adore this book so much!

I also bought the book as a PDF and now have a massive home printed tome. I'm ashamed to say, I'm still afraid of the big bad pips. I'm scared I won't be sparked without action figures (despite my reading style being element, number, image and colours above all else), and moved my TdMs on. I'm getting a hankering again dammit. I hate being limited by fear. I enjoyed your review and will be pulling the gigantic ring binder off the shelf again and perhaps facing the fear.....

+Fay Robertson I was the same way, and then something started to happen after working with the Wild Unknown. I realized that I knew enough about the cards that I could start using less situational pips. And then once I started exploring a system of numerology, I found they I could totally read the pip-pips!! (This book isn't super full of stuff on the pips; though what's where is good.) Give it a go! I've found it so freeing.
