Dhobi Ghat (Mumbai Diaries) is the story of 4 people from very different backgrounds, whose worlds intersect and leave them forever altered. As they find themselves drawn into compelling relationships, the city finds it's way into the crevices of their lives, separating them even as it brings them closer. Fragments of their experience - seen through a naive video diary, black and white photographic images and painting form a portrait of Mumbai and it's people bound together as they journey through longing, loneliness, loss and love.
the movie was indeed amazing. i have always had a special liking for art movies and never could find it in today's movies which are all commercial. but dhobi ghat was indeed a beautiful portrayal of Mumbai city.

I don't like artistic movies but idk how i connected with Dhobi ghat...i loved all 3 characters Arun, Munna & Shai...even i wouldn't have problem if it is 30 minutes longer
