When you practice, seperate the piece into parts that you practice one by one. When you start, practice one hand at a time, the right hand first and then the left. Don't worry too much about putting in emotion. Just make sure you get hit the notes. Then you continue to practice each part with both hands till you get it all. And then practice with the crescendos and decrescendos. This is how I practice. Hope it helps
