This is what it feels like to lose everything in apex legends. All the badges, character skins, weapon skins are just gone in the blink of an eye. Most importantly are the heirlooms that are never going to be seen again unless you want to spend a ton of money on the game.

I’d be too hurt to start over. It’s really why I want cross progression badly cuz I want to switch to playing apex on my pc but I can’t start over. I got to many skins I spent money on to just abandon
I was forced to start over I had an email linked to my account that I no longer had access to (I forgot the password and gmail refused to help) so I unlinked it and linked a new email to my account and everything reset so I restarted, I had skins from the first fight or fright and basically every event and it disappeared in the blink of an eye
We gotta unite and Show Respawn & EA that we shouldn't be treated this crazy way .

@@SweatbandTV I made a surf to teach my friend how to play apex. I went around with a sentiment and dropped a 15 without trying. A Week later I go to lvl up the surf to catch up to him and was instantly thrown into Dimond and above lobbies. Like come on man. I have to deal with this on my main lol

While I don’t have those badges (I am 50 and just play to relieve stress, not to mention being trash at the game) I just made the switch from Xbox to PC for Apex and better frame rates along with mouse and keyboard, so I am feeling this pain as well. I do hope for cross progression, but not just one or the other. Now that I have some stuff unlocked/bought on PC, I don’t want to lose that if I switch to my Xbox account for PC. EA should be able to merge accounts seamlessly across platforms. Not just give you a choice between one or the other...

I like the idea of starting over, like a clean slate, a fresh start. That I can try to better myself and my stats and maybe who I play more often. But it's the fact that most of the Legend roster has to be unlocked all over again is a big turn off; a lot of effort to keep track of tokens, and then deciding who to unlock first out of everyone. I bet that's hard for new players too.
It'll just make your skill go down and it isn't fair to the new gamers

@@SweatbandTV dont feel bad. i was a t2 switch player on Paladins, but our team made the hop to PC controller because of frame drops and crashes. it was a super good decision.

Even with cross progression i have so many games on my console. Both digital and physical. Like the Spyro reignited trilogy, BioShock etc. I'm happy being a console scrub

How do you like the extra frames playing on PC? I've heard people say they could never go back to 60fps after switching from console.

Congrats on moving over to PC, I'd recommend you look into controller configurations for steam. They allow you to tap strafe and move while looting, it's a big help going against PC players who can do those

I swapped over to pc around Christmas time too, it was painful leaving all of my cosmetics but it’s worth it
From what I know, cross-progression is coming next season, so don't spend a lot of money on this new account cause you soon will be able to pass your xbox stuff to PC, but in that move you will lose everything you have unlocked on your PC account.

Going from console to PC how much of a difference did you notice in the input lag/latency? I heard controller on PC has zero input lag so the response time is supreme. Did you notice it?
Yes I noticed it, PC has almost an instant response time
Controller on pc doesn't have 0 input lag by default. You have to overclock its polling rate. Many COD content creator made videos on how to do it.

I played PC from day 1 but became a dad of 2 sons, which in turns reduced my gaming time to pretty much 0. Made the swap to Xbox as its easier to jump into any game. Rly wanna get into apex on xbox but losing all my stuff an fomo items make me anxious... I feel your pain and admire your courage! Maybe I should just... Start... And hope they someday add cross-platform unlocks.. i dont even care about my lvl or currency

My advanced sensitivity controls reset completely randomly on Xbox. Took me literally months to get them fixed and to this day still doesn’t feel the same. Two days ago my homies settings completely reset and he almost uninstalled the game. Big issue that they need to fix asap.

i am in your same situation, i played on ps4 and then switched to pc (for various reasons) and when i launched apex i was like "where did all my things go?" and this happened like 3 months ago and I'm still waiting the cross progression just to flex again my rev's heirloom
