Commission Cover Commentary: This one had a lot of time and effort put into it, and hopefully it shows. What's depected is a tamati with Baiken's pipe and sake bottle (alongside two cups) on it and Dunban's sword stabbed into it while his cape is draped over it while cherry blossom pedals fall. The sake cup on the left is accompanied with Dunban's necklace, while the one on the right is accompanied with Baiken's eyepatch (with the cup itself cracked as a reference to Baiken's lost eye, which is a detail I added myself). The original pitch wasn't that different, but it _did_ orginally state to have both fighters' sword's stabbed into the tamaki. I changed it to just Dunban's sword, mostly for sanity's sake. The title is, well, in reference to Dunban and Baiken's home series (Xeno"blade" Chronicles and "Guilt"y Gear, respectively), but also the fact that they're both swordfighters that deal with guilt in one way or another. There's a bit more connections between them than that, but I don't recall all of them off the top of my head.
I like the idea behind this, especially since I can see Dunban giving great respect to someone he sees as a fellow veteran. I also would just really like to see a fully animated Blossom Dance Born In a World of Strife! Against The Odds! We Choose to Fight! BLOSSOM DANCE!!!
Boy that's one *intense* track. I love it. Now I don't know anything about the characters so I'll come to conclusions here. Has that "feudal Japan" feel as it should, especially at the start and with the "second", if I may say so, chorus (2:01-2:42) that I'll also note I absolutely love for how it sounds, the other main chorus of the song (IE: 3:04-3:24) is also really good, but that one slams it out of the water. But it's perfectly complemented by the usual much stronger and "brutal" almost metal side of Brandon's songs. It's also an extremely intensive track, reminding me of Way Past Flash or, for a more recent song, Compound Engine which leaves me thinking that one of the traits of those characters is their speed or a very fiery personality. The percussion is also extremely present in this track, something to note too (IE: 2:44-3:04) which leaves me thinking that both those characters are also short tempered and/or once again, just have a fiery personality in general. And that's something I enjoy. I'll also note the ending (3:24-3:44) which takes the main chorus and just amplifies it, something that's done way too rarely in my opinion as it sounds magnificent. And it's done really well here. A song of which I don't know any character and yet I can still discern their personality from the OST alone and that also sounds amazing on its own. I must say, if all Xenoblade songs are going to sound as good as the two made recently, I’m looking forward to more Xenoblade commissions of yours. This is truly great work, as always.

Ok I love Fate, but even I know that Saber's getting stomped. Pyra/Mythra is an Aegis. AN AEGIS. THE THINGS THAT CAN CASUALLY REWRITE REALITY AT FULL POWER.
@@Cam-jl9kh On the other hand, Saber has survived the causality deathblow of Gae Bolg, and "crit on a metaphysical D20" out of Tsubame Gaeshi(though Sasaki intentionally used it in a state that gave it a flaw it normally lacks, allowing that metaphysical D20 crit to be possible). @@Rondorix First of all you're taking the Gae Bolg scene out of the context. According to the materials, how that Lance works is that it runs a check of your luck stat. If you fail the luck check you get stabbed in the heart. The semantics of how you get stabbed in the heart isn't like rewriting fate, It's simply reversing cause-and-effect. Suppose someone is throwing a lantern you to try and kill you. The cause (which goes first) is someone "threw a Lance at you" and the effect is "you get stabbed in the heart". Gae Bolg switches these concepts so that "you get stabbed in the heart" is the cause and therefore goes first. So when the lance is used, you get stabbed in the heart the moment when the luck check goes through and the ability work. Saber survived due to 3 reasons. The first reason is that she did not fail the luck check. The second reason is that her naturally high magic resistance allowed her to be hurt not as badly from the attack. The third reason is that she has a skill called intuition which is pretty much the spidey sense on crack. Kojirou's Tsubame Gaeshi It's a move that cuts off all escape so that you are guaranteed a hit on your opponent. However, Japanese swords are less durable than Western ones, and Monohoshi Zao had received a wound in its previous encounter which caused the attack to have an opening where shouldn't. Which and turned allowed her to counter attack. And lastly, Shirou's strength does not negate my previous point. Well yes Rex could probably not survive 9 lives blade works, *Pyra/Mythra definitely would* and it's proven that ages can still survive in the world even without a connection to their driver. Look I love both of these sets of characters. Hell, Shirou was honestly one of my favorite characters of all time. As someone who os both a Fate and Xenoblade fan, i can tell that ***this isn't a good match up.*** Is the only way that Shirou + Saber could possibly win is if they use Avalon. But the problem with that is that it's so hilariously broken that it's an instant win. You are literally displaced in time and space so that no attack can hit you and are Immortal
