His high pitched screaming is was really killed his voice. He doesn't even sound like that anymore. Jesse was not technical when he approached his screaming. It was just about belting his voice out, screaming his guts out. I thought he was done for good when he went into surgery but he is definately doing fine now. I'm glad he decided to go back to his passion and started living his dream. I met him years back when he was in seamless and he described how hard it was to tour and not having the means beyond 10 dollars a night. I'm honestly proud he never gave up and I'm also glad he came back to KSE. Their latest album was a breath of fresh air!
I was going to state that killswitch was the first metalcore band because they formed in 1999 but bleeding through also formed in 1999. Can anyone remember any other metalcore bands that came out around that year or earlyer? This was just a little game I started in my mind. Any youtubers care to join in? I know this is early because soilwork was touring with their chainheart machine album which I enjoy very much.
SuperNils666 all these bands I listened to in sophomore year, I was 15. I remember liking unearth too. Weird how those styles came out at the same time yet the bands were from different areas
