He's singing about spiritually being whole and about equality among all cultures, faiths, and races of people. Phil sung about borderline personality disorder, whiskey, snow, and pushing away all of those that try to weigh on like leaches and those others who play as false allies. Quite a different set of rules between singers song themes. Plus, Phil was about soul in music, which is why groove metal became his thing. Jesse is a raw emotional dude about the bite of the edge in music. Which is why alternative metal and metal core were his cup of tea. Again, different views of quality of music, different set of rules. It's one thing trying to compare Jesse with Howard (since they both sang for this band), but comparing to someone from the outside from a different generation of music, and different genre is very unwise and make you look like a superficial and shallow idiot.

It is Tom Gomes. He helped them out on drums for awhile during this era. Tom is good, but, they found their sweet spot with J-Fo.
