At 2:40 no need to close MT4, simply go to the Navigator, right click on a folder or anywhere really, and select REFRESH
I usually like closing everything out but, yes, this method could also work :)
Hi, Did all the steps. Put the EX4 and MQ4 files in the indicators folder. Restarted mt4 and restarted PC. Still so not see new indicators within MT4. Please help. Thanks in advance

Sir, After downloading custom indicator from internet, Is it mandatory to open the file first before drag & drop it into meta trader MT4? Also does it matter if original indicator file is in compressed form & how do you open metatrader & downloaded file on the same windows lap top screen simultaneosly to do the drag & drop step.Thank you

@@bennethifeanyi3988 Don't worry, indicators usually don't work anyway. Is it a free of paid indicator ? What type of file is it ? Is it ex4 or tpl ?

Hey Ben, thank you for this video! I just purchased the Currency Power Strength System from Trading Strategy Guides and have problems with the installation on the MT4 platform. The file is not an .ex4 but an .exe. How do I install that one? Appreciate your reply! Regards, Consuela
When I drag the file it doesn’t go into the folder, is it cause I’m on mAc and I’m using wine to run it?

I've had instances where the indicator shows but doesn't pop up with the inputs window and doesn't add to the chart. Do you know what I need to do to troubleshoot this?
Sounds like a bug with the indicator. Are you having trouble with one of our indicators or is this from somewhere else?

Hey Evan. Right click on your chart and go to properties. From there you can adjust all of the colors there. By default meta trader has a black background that is not really pleasant to the eyes.
I'm running mt4 desktop on my Oppo F1s. First you need to search video,learn and install exagear app.
What do you do when it rar instead of ex4?
Please the mt5 version does not show after I installed it. When I click on it to show on the chart window I don't see the indicator on the chart.
