I loved how they emphasized that they were broadcasting around the world because as a viewer from Australia, I loved this show and i love it's successor Stephen Colbert. What i don't get is why The Late Late Show is on earlier than The Late Show here in Australia cause it starts at 11:30pm-ish while The Late Show starts at 12:30am-ish
The set is only the same STYLE for 20 years. The set itself went through a few changes, and it looked completely different in the 90s, so don't expect it to change anytime soon. Besides, I'm sure most viewers think it's fine the way it is.
The set went unchanged as a tribute to the woman who designed it. She was working on a new set at the time of her death, and Dave couldn't bring himself to replace it.
