I honestly think James Terry was one of the best receivers in KSU history. 18 touchdown catches in two years at K-State and made some spectacular catches such as the 4th and 10 catch against Arizona State in the 2002 Holiday Bowl to save that game for KSU
@@kyezek524 The most touchdown catches Tyler Lockett had as a Wildcat in a single season was 11. He did that in back to back seasons in 2013-2014. James Terry had 13 td catches in 2003 against elite competition. K-State played a really tough schedule plus he had one of the biggest catches in school history with the td catch over Antonio Perkins in the 2003 Big XII title game.
@@alexkain8564 I'd take 11 tds back to back years compared to 5 tds and 13 tds. One could argue that KSU had more weapons during Terry's time, which took attention off of him. That being said, Terry had one of the greatest single receiving seasons in KSU history. It may have been different if Terry played a full 4 years at KSU but I'm comparing the body of work.
@@kyezek524 Terry was 6’4 180 while Lockett is 5’9 180. If you needed a jump ball Terry was your guy. Also those teams that Terry was on in 2002-2003 were more successful than the 2013-2014 KSU teams and it was by a wide margin too in terms of talent
James Terry was underrated.

@@alexkain8564 I'd say he's top 5 but I wouldn't put him over Tyler Lockett, Jordy Nelson or Quincy Morgan.
