My first visit to a Japanese cat cafe and many other side quests! - Japan trip - Day 3

I was lucky enough to visit Japan this year, after talking about going with my best friend, on and off, for the past 5 years! This trip, following a terrible 2023, was absolutely magical! On Day 3 we began our day by heading to Ginza, where we checked out the pedestrian paradise, Uniqlo and the Pokemon centre. We then jumped on a train and got ourselves back to Harajuku, to spend time with the kitties in Mocha Cat cafe and grab a bunch of bargains from Daiso. With the day coming to an end, we travelled back to Akasaka and wandered through an area decorated with lights, where we discovered the Harry Potter cafe and the restaurant we would eat a very late dinner at before returning to the hotel. Another big day!

Thanks Harry. I miss my music too! Haven't been able to perform since March. Kind of lost my voice for a bit! Had it investigated a bunch and was about to start seeing a speech pathologist. It finally started to come back last week (I managed to sing two songs in a row, when I haven't been able to sing a full song for ages!), then on Tuesday I came down with covid and now my voice is an ill sounding voice again! 🤦‍♀️ Having a real run of bad luck. Hopefully get back at it soon, but at least I have Japan vlogs I can share in the meantime!

It was awesome. I was there for 3 weeks from late March. Taking a while to edit through all the footage though, thus how it's already 3.5 months later! There's only one of me though and life has been crazy since I got home. Currently recovering from finally catching Covid for the first time a few weeks ago.

looks like a lot of fun :) me and my wife went to a different cat cafe when we were there but thought about going to this one, it's cool to see it from the inside!

Which one did you go to? This one was nice, but the cats were fairly over people by the time we arrived. I went to another cat cafe later in my trip, in the smaller suburb of Juso, and I was the only customer and the cats were in much better moods.
