- Are you sick and tired of your neighbors barking dogs ?! If you are so am I, hopefully this solution works for me and also you. I will keep you updated on my progress. #barkingdog #barking #petowner #gardening

I know how this feels. But your are somewhat in luck compared to me. My neighbors are usually never home 90% of the time for work and they go out on weekend vacations. They have 4 dogs (Yes 4 DOGS) that bark ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT and I cannot sleep. To add to that, every time I go into my backyard they will all go crazy and start throwing themselves at the fence, trying to smash it. It would get even worse the closer you get to it. I am in a school program which requires a lot of studying for extremely important exams and the barking does not help at all. And to add to that, every yard guy in the neighborhood is TERRIFIED of these dogs to the point they will refuse to do our yard. Even the yard man who helps lots of homeowners get the Yard of the Month doesn’t want to do it, and I do not blame him. I have to study a lot and do not have the time to fertilize the yard. Our yard is starting to become withered thanks to this. I am thinking about trying this out before I go insane. I live next to a bunch of idiots
Yeah that sucks …… I just bought a new device. A bigger one !! Hopefully that can curves the barking. I will definitely keep you and everyone updated!! I posted this video so that I can help others who might be in similar situations. I know they are out there. Thanks for watching the video. You are definitely In my prayers. Some days are worst than others but I’m just glad I can communicate with my neighbors. I’ve heard of situations were it became fatal for neighbors who go into all our war.
get someone you know to remove the dogs....bbq meats work like magic to lure em out. Have the friend in a truck, van or suv with the plate removed or covered up and have him meet ya in a neighborhood or two over and relocate them way far away. People who say thats wrong...oh well... then dont have an annoying dog when you dont care about it.

Hey Edward thanks for supporting the channel. I did get a new device. I posted the video. This device (my opinion) was too small for such a large Dog. I bought a larger device unfortunately it kept defaulting to the lowest setting so I sent it back. Hopefully my information helps your situation 🤞🏾
I can absolutely feel your pain. I was woken up this past Sunday, from a deep sleep, at “5:15 AM”!!! This neighbour moved in a year ago, and as long as he, and sometimes, his wife are awake, they do not care if either or both of their monsters barks, and barks, and barks…in a high pitched tone. I flipped, and yelled through my closed bedroom window, using unladylike language. I am not well right gut now, and as this was not the first time, I am so stressed by it. Last year, I threatened to call the bylaw office, after I tried to speak nicely about it with him, to which he told me he did not care about what I had to say. When I go out into my yard, the worst of the two mutts, tries to get at me through the fence, acting as if he wants to kill me. I cannot take anymore of this, and your video has spurred me on, and in some level made me feel better, as I am not alone dealing with this extremely upsetting reality.
I’m truly sorry to hear about this situation!!! Believe me it’s no joke !! Call your local animal control office is the best advice I can give. My neighbors try I can truly say I’m grateful for that but from time to time I still have to deal with being woken out my sleep. And I still hate that feeling 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
That’s why as soon as I got a new neighbor with a barking dog I immediately started calling animal control. People don’t respond to pleasantries

I feel ya man. Bought my first home 2 years ago and happened to move next to the worst dog owners in my valley. Countless sleep and income lost. Literally 100's of legal complaints to the city and they'll still do nothing about it. These type of dog owners don't deserve God's animals.
Most definitely a horrible situation. The neighbor and I no longer speak. It’s definitely not a good feeling. Waking up out your sleep due to loud barking, sucks !! I’m now ready to get law enforcement involved and see what I can legally do. I’m a home owner. He’s a tenant I’ve met the owner once. We were on good terms then.
@Juicingwithjay Good luck. I've literally taken this to the city council and the chief of police. They will do nothing. In some righteous non-bureaucratic world technically I could sue the owners and the city. Seriously the worst dog neighbors I've ever had and not the first time I've dealt with this to boot. They leave them out to bark when not home and also live on a busy street with lots of foot traffic.
I have trash neighbors (four of them) and the ones behind me left their 2 dogs out when they went away for the weekend and it got to below zero and they were tied up on a chain with no shelter. I removed them with a friend using his cargo van and took them across town to a friends county house. The second neighbor had his high pitching pup outside at 3 am on a weekday and i banged on the street side of his house waking him up and told him if that dog was ever outside barking again, his dog would disappear....problem 2 resolved. The other one i found out the landlord and got him evicted as he had too many issues with him. The fourth one got 4 different notices from the city and they got rid of the dog. All of this happened in under 90 days. I being a former dog owner for 14 years, I never ONCE let my dog ever annoy anyone as I have something called decency. Your neighbors dog just needs to be removed.
Yeah I have Dogs that bark constantly when they go outside. But that’s why I make sure they are only out for 3-5 minutes for maybe 3-4 times a day and never at night. The thought of them waking the entire neighborhood up makes me cringe. But it seems like other people simply have no shame . My girl gets angry with me and thinks it’s dog abuse to not let the, go outside and bark for hours. But to me it sounds like neighbor abuse to allow it

You've probably saved a lot of people's sanity by doing that. I live in a small apartment and my neighbors dog barking echoes throughout it. I'm fixing to get my neglectful irresponsible drunken neighbor evicted over it as well at this point and his dog will be taken by the humane and hopefully given to a much better home that could actually take care of it. I just want peace in my own space.

20 years ago we had a neighbor feed some Prestone burgers to his neighbors barking dogs and shut them up permanently. He did go to jail a couple days too.

Neighbors that moved in a month ago with 2 German Shepherds and it’s non stop, my old dog can’t even go outside she’s so frightened. Quality of life for us is gone. I got one of those things delivered yesterday and I pray it helps. They bark at 5 in the morning right into my bedroom window.

German shepherds suck I swear they should be illegal if you don’t train them.
@@Juicingwithjay They try and walk them on leashes and it’s a joke, I’m surprised they don’t need rotator cuff surgery after being pulled down the street. I had a drug dealer with pit bulls who previously lived there and that was better than these dogs.
Don't forget to try a megaphone and air horn. The megaphone is about $30 from Harbor Freight and the air horn is a few bucks and it can be recharged with a air pump. I just opened my bedroom window and let it blow haha. I was going to fire up my Harley at 3am and sit next door with the exhaust facing his bedroom window but haven't done that.. yet. Hopefully I won't have anymore trouble. @@Juicingwithjay

I finally started blasting a radio at the dog -- they say "they are guard dogs" as if it matters. they are Great Danes. LOUD. her husband is a tow truck driver /owner and rips people off daily so he has a lot of people hate him. she dives a G wagon- they just rip people off and make a fortune - and at Christmas they light up every square inch of their house-- and pays probably 2 to 5 K to a pro to do it-- they are just so SO Christian. Nothing bothers me more then dog barking I understand where you are coming from. I think people are so INCONSIDERATE to let their dogs bark the way they do. Its like a parent letting their kids scream all day throughout the neighborhood and not try to even stop them. Its just rude! If someone has a dog they should train them not to bark excessively. It destroys the peace. If I had a dog I would train it not to be like that. Barking is much worse then loud music.

My entire neighborhood is average 5-10 dogs per household in a 100 yd square area of 50 houses. They constantly bring in more dogs. Most wouldn't know how to turn an electric guitar into a Mic plugged into a 2-12 Can amplifier. My neighbors DIDNT LIKE IT when I recorded THEIR DOGS on my phone put it on a loop for 12 hours run through a 200 decibel system. I left and let it play all night. They don't like playing Bass lines on guitar on a Bass setup.
I thought about doing the same thing being a “music sound engineer” myself. And going out of town for the weekend. I couldn’t bring myself to do it. Dog is barking right now as I send this message smh. I told my neighbor he was a bad dog owner to his face over the weekend not in a rude way just in conversation. These dog owners just find anyway to justify the bs. My other neighbors dog just bit someone yesterday. 😳😳😳 it’s out of control.

I'm cranking it because the cops will be preoccupied with drunks & more serious complaints rather than music. On a Sunday afternoon I can't even turn up my phone full blast and watch a RUclips video because of dog mill I call it noise pollution. After 3 years of it I'm going to show what noise pollution is with my guitar. I'm having a Solo Concert FULL BLAST & I will keep everyone up all night 12-31-2023.

we have no sound or noise ordinance where I live. but its hard to just blast music. I feel like such a jerk. I thought about recording them and then playing them back but I don't know how to do that- I'll just blast my radio when I hear them. these people are crazy they are so showy-- they have about 7 cars and 15 tow trucks. they lease everything including their house. why did the landlord rent to him? the people before were so nice. I think he pays WAY over the market rent-- he pays 7K a month. market rent is about 5k he knows how to spread the $$ around to get what he wants. I asked her why she needed a guard dog- no answer. I know why.
@@annsmith3192 The way to put the dogs barking on a loop is I use the neck pickup on my guitar as a mic 🎤 to run it through the amp. An electric guitar passive pickup put your phone on loop and I was able to crank it up to over 200 Decibels. They didn't like that at 2:30am and I stayed gone all night I laughed my rear end off
That seemed to work pretty good. I can imagine that barking can get to you, especially when you are trying to enjoy your own yard.

Just bark for nothing a lot of times. I am beginning to dislike those things. Once my neighbors dogs was barking at a leaf hanging from a tree by a spider thread. It was blowing in the wind and the thing was just barking at it. So f*cking dumb.

I know how this feels. I live right next to a ghetto townhouse kinda home with 4 dogs barking all day and night. Can’t sleep or do anything. I have to go to a hotel to sleep. This is such bullshit

I have TWO of these and they really work. Here is my question and I am not getting answers by Googling. My question is: When unit is switched to ON does it only come on when a dog barks? Reading it states that it only comes on when a dog barks. I don't believe it. I think when it is on the dog hears it with out barking. I have watched a particular dog and see his reactions to it being on. It does stop him from barking but he goes in circles when not barking and looking at me and then leaving out of range, coming back and leaving again. This unit works at a good distance. I think I am more than 75 feet from the dog and I can tell the way the dog acts that he definitely hears it. He tries to get out of the range when he isn't even barking. The unit I have blinks green every few seconds. I hope this question isn't lost or not answered. Posts are all old.

I think it works only when the dog barks but the dog learns that it will happen. so the dog might want to bark but turns in circles bc he nows he can't or he will get the noise
I've done everything I could think of since 1993. I'm home 90 percent of the time and have chronic headaches and other pains so when I finally get the pain tamped down and try to relax, I'm almost ok then a dog goes at it breaking the peaceful silence it's enough to make you do most anything. I tried moving to a high-class neighborhood and have called the police many times. Getting the city to enforce an ordinance is the biggest joke of them all. Benadryl works well and doesn't harm the animal, but I probably can't recommend it without getting in trouble. Finally, after keeping logs and inventing things I just happen to have quiet neighbors. Another thing that works although clumsy but when you're desperate and at wits end who cares, and that was to get a megaphone and an airhorn like those people used to use at football games. I turned the megaphone up all the way and blew the airhorn into it and also yelled "shut the xx up!". That got the attention of everyone on the block. And when the owners were home, they would come out and shut the mutt up for a while. The last episode didn't work with the megaphone, neither did taping a printout of the city ordinance on their front door or beating on his door at 1am, but the police visited him while letting me remain anonymous. After the 3rd visit, he moved away. What worked the least was shooting at one with a bb gun in 1994. They called the police on me. Of course, it didn't help so I moved. It's been mostly quiet since 2021 and I'm very happy about it. I dread the thoughts of having to deal with it anymore. I know real estate agents and tell them to find me a house that's a mile from the nearest neighbor/dog but they seem to be clueless so far. In 1992 I went to my neighbors and knocked on the door with a revolver in my hand. I'm so thankful no one answered. I wouldn't have used it but it would not have been good. All I can say is get a megaphone and an air horn. Play some heavy metal through it too. If they can have a dog barking his ass off all day and night then I should be able to blast Ozzie. Fight noise with noise. Some of the commercial solutions would work if they had a more powerful output.
For what it's worth, I love dogs and animals. I could never hurt one except for it's ears maybe and that is legal.

When I or another neighbor asked the owner to do something her comment was they’re dogs they bark, or the one I really loved was if people want quiet move to a retirement community. We were friends but today I decided to take a stand and turned my Bose stereo system on to full volume on my patio, she now knows what no peace sounds like. There has been talk of a possible move to a larger house with one of her children so maybe that will be the savings grace

I have been dealing with this issue for 2 years now!! A 10year+ old staffy that doesnt stop and his owner does nothing to help even though I explained the situation many many times. Even the council did nothing!! Im losing my mind .. nothing is solving the problem!! Im so hopeless

it does cause mental health issues. I am mad all the time and starting to get depressed. I don't want to go nome. I just think - what else can I go do-- and I don't want to be mad at the neighbors. it's stressful.

I spent $40 last year on The Ultrasonic Egg from Pet Smart. A little more expensive than what you've got listed here, but like yours...it worked. Although it was the best $40 I ever spent, I don't recommend anyone buying the egg like I did. They both work, but as this video proved to me...the more expensive one isn't any better. Buy the less expensive model like the one this guy is selling and chill out the annoying dogs in your neighborhood. Just to be clear..the only thing i'm advertising here is the use of these ultrasonic dog-sitters. They never take a break, and they don't let the dog get away with even one single bark

My neighbours in the UK have FIVE big dogs so you can imagine the noise. The Environmental Health Department were involved and told the neighbours to keep the dogs in the house. Now we have the noise in there.They bark at nothing! Then if I want to go and enjoy my garden they bark and throw themselves at the fence breaking the wooden panels.

Just like you..I have a neighbour who moved in with his family over a year ago..they have a 🐕 that barks every morning for 4 to five hours..I have spoken to the neighbours before ..and asked them if they can control their dog from barking! They were so rude,hostile and horrible,, I reported them to the local authority..they were sent a letter...they ignored it...the dog continues to bark every morning! I have lived in my home for 30 years ..these neighbours and their dog are causing me so much distress..lack of sleep..and inconvenience at my home..any help from anyone please?
Keep on reporting them..you can also call animal control in your area. Also you can take people to court. This is a huge problem. And people have to be accountable

Unfortunately the laws are for the dog owners and against everyone else. I hope you got some peace. We have dealt with this in The past and have it again now with new neighbors. The dog owners actually believe it is normal for their dogs to bark at little old ladies and every car or person that goes by but it is not.

My husband decided to get puppies in 2019 even though he knew I didn’t want any. He’s hardly ever home and I don’t know how to keep them from barking at people walking by and at the neighbors. It’s so frustrating! I feel like I’m losing my mind. I tried something like that to stop them but it only works on two of the dogs. I tried bribing one with a treat but as long as there’s something to bark at, the 3rd one won’t stop. It makes me feel so mad at my husband. He didn’t even house train them so they poop and pee in the house. I used to go into the office full time, but work hasn’t asked us to come back full time yet so I’m stuck here.
I do feel your pain !!! Dogs are a HUGE responsibility. We just rehomed our pup. I think / know it was the best thing for us. It was already bad dealing with our neighbors but to have it in our house totally different story. We tried to train him but he just refused to take the training. Pay some money to trainer and he will certainly help in 2 weeks time
I don't like dogs never have and that barking along with the stink and acting aggressive without cause are my main reasons. I live in an apartment where my neighbor puts her barking dog on the patio. Drives me crazy especially when she does it late at night. Like kids have school in the morning people have work, don't be rude and inconsiderate to your neighbors. I'm looking into getting a device myself barking constantly is annoying asf!

I’m glad it worked… I’m going thru the same problem. My neighbors dog must have amnesia because even thou I’ll give him treats then come back out 5 min later is starts to bark again. Unfortunately neighbor has never tried to correct the behavior. Hence that’s why I’m looking for ideas to fix the problem. Thanks for the review 👍

Thank you for checking out the video!! I placed them directly on the fence. I didn’t feel like that was working so I had a long stick standing up with the device nailed in. I think that worked better. This device was too small for such a large dog so I up graded and upgraded again. Both videos of the journey are posted 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Unfortunately I took that device back, I’m on my 3rd device and it sits on the shared fence with the neighbor. It helps but not enough. It pushes the dog back but he’s still barking. I’ll do another update video. Thanks for supporting the journey ✊🏿

So did this work? You mentioned in another comment reply that you’re on your fourth device?? So none of these really work? Just FYI. I’ve tried water. We have a chain link fence and I usually try and give them a quick spritz. 😂 sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. Sucks that you have to get up or go outside to do it tho. Although there are those water spray deterrent things too. Maybe that’s next for us.
Lol I’ve used the water… but like you said, it requires me to get up … the device works to a certain extent but it doesn’t stop the barking from my experience it pushes the dog back but after a while it doesn’t matter.

That’s exactly what I going through. We are already under quite a lot of tension with the neighbor. But the anti bark device doesn’t work to those dogs.

It worked but not for long. So I had 3 others devises they got bigger and better. But I noticed that it only pushed the dog back it didn’t stop the barking completely. Also battery was an issue on each device. I found one with a power source but I don’t have electricity running on that side of my house. I hope that helps, my Neighbor now pulls his dog in at night and he has a shock collar so that helps. We just had a few shots of rum last weekend. And I told him he was about to lose his favorite neighbor over his dog. 😂 I hope that helps.

I've been lookin' at such items for years now but they all seem to have limited success rates, even the highest rated ones. We have new neighbours and they have a dog they let out at 7am every morning and it has the loudest bark I've ever heard. Worryingly it's a puppy so will only get worse. Since lockdown everyone around us seems to have bought dogs🙄 When they go out it just barks non stop. I was going to introduce myself but am so angry about this dog am snubbing them

He need to relax, he might need a friend if the owners are not home enough. I used to give my neighbors dog popeyes biscuits 🤣🤣🤣😂after awhile he used to sit when I go outside.

I have the same issue with my neighbor and she’s not helpful, because she is never home. She got a ticket but she still didn’t make necessary adjustments.
Yeah, I’m to the point now where I’m going to have to report my neighbor and keep reporting. We are not on speaking terms. I communicate to him that his actions at this point is out right disrespectful.
Did this ultimately work? My neighbor has a Doberman that barks from the second she lets it out until back in and I’ve tried talking to her about it with no success. Also how high/where did you mount it? Thanks
No it didn’t, I tried 2 other devices with no successful results. I am longer speaking to the neighbor. I told him not to be surprised if law enforcement comes to his house about the dog. I can’t bring myself to go that far. It was a warning .. he brings his dog in at night but it’s still nerve racking because I can’t enjoy a peaceful day in my house anymore.

Barking is completely controllable.
Typically the first little puppy barks are so cute that people respond positively, encouraging more barking
The trick is to look past the cuteness and give the pup a negative response or a gentle correction to discourage more barking from thr very first bark.
Training starts the second you meet your new puppy and you should never encourage puppy behavior that you won't want in an adult dog.
Training good behavior in is a million times easier than Training bad behavior out.

Did the device continue to work or was it a temporary fix? I'm dealing with the same issue. Talking to the neighbor didn't really help and Id rather not call the cops because I have to live here and don't want that drama.
The dog was too large for the small device that I was using. I upgraded 3 time !! It seem to push the dog back but did not stop the barking.

Nothing worse than a bad owner leaving the dogs bark etc...there's no need for it and it's just leaving the dogs down. Teach them well they will behave well.😊

There should be bylaws that prevent disturbances, even dogs, and a bylaw limiting how many dogs you can have on a property by size of property. More than 2 should be for acreages. Only 2 dogs on 1/4 to 1/2 acre. And only one medium sized dog in apartment buildings..... no barking, professionally trained medium sized dog.

I have the same situation but with two different neighbors and three dogs. Neighbors that leave their dogs outside here in Florida summers are not good neighbors let alone good pet owners. These people do not respect themselves let alone anyone else. These kind of low life's are inconsiderate and inhumane . When a dog constantly barks, it's not because they are happy, but quite the contrary they are miserable. Needless to say I am selling my house of thirty years and moving to less populated outside dog haven mad neighborhood. I did file an official complaint on a previous neighbor who left a dog fighting Pit Bull outside in the direct sun all day and night. After filing a complaint with our local animal services 10 months later went to court. Judge fined him $500.00 and told him if he saw him again the fine would be double Most cites have a noise ordinance and it doesn't start at 10:00 PM here where I live in Tampa, Florida. It is all the time. That neighbor ended up getting rid of the dog!

7:13 jeez I hate that noise, that’s exactly how my neighbors dog bark sound like, they bark in the early morning and I’ve been having trouble sleeping😅 if you can’t train your dog well then you don’t deserve them, both side of my neighbor have dogs and the other side of my neighbors dog don’t bark at all, when I’m in the yard they just come around the fence and sniff for a few seconds and leave.

We couldn’t seem to escape them! It was usually the small ones for us, everywhere we lived (except here lol). I sent it back …unfortunately it didn’t work for me I tried and reviewed other devices with the same results … I just wasn’t pleased with the results.

Not the greatest solution because it doesnt just hurt the barking dog it also hurts other dogs nearby that arn't barking. Besides most devices like that only last a few days, a week at best before the dog gets accustomed to it.

I gave up after 3rd device, had a chat with my neighbor and I’ve a much more peace. Now if a bolt of lightning hit the Dog I wouldn’t be sad at all.
Before I buy this. I am going to try and get the sheriff to talk to her and suggest that she buys it herself. It’s 5 a.m. her dog has been barking since 3 a.m. probably longer, 3 a.m. is when it tore me from sleep. I have called her this early too.. if I can’t sleep why should she? Calling the sheriff at 8 a.m. so sick sick sick of this all night barking. The dog is on her porch which faces my bedroom windows.

Call animal control and the city.. neighbors like that have to reported to the the city. Start collecting documents. Record dates, times and video. Me and my neighbor are not on speaking terms anymore. So now it’s all in law enforcement hands at this point.

My neighbor dog is the same. Barks at literally everything! As soon as you pull up. As soon as I walk on my porch, he starts and he can’t even see me. I don’t open my back door, ever to let air in. If I touch a window he barks. If I walk through the kitchen he barks. The most aggressive bark too. Can’t even put my damn trash cans back on the side without this dumb dog going off.
Yes, that’s the same way with my bathroom window, I can’t even open the window for some fresh air without the barking. Even tho it’s gotten better it still rattles my nerves when I hear that loud a$$ bark. Have you tried any Sonic devices yet?
