Too many entitled dog owners out there. Scum that care nothing about their neighbors right to peace and quiet. I love dogs, but these indifferent jerks who do nothing to train their animals need to receive more legal consequences.
For what it's worth, many years ago we had a neighbor's barking dog. My father got their phone number and regularly called them 2-3 in the morning asking them to quiet their dog. Just an idea...
I have never been able to understand why a person would let their dog bark all hours of the day and night; just unfathomable to me how they can be so inconsiderate while tolerating the barking themselves when they are home. So many people should t own dogs, and they shouldn’t reproduce either because their lack of values get passed down.
Because this stupid society gives them right to do so. Dogs are put on pedestal and their owners know it. If you complain about dogs you are the "bad guy" and you'll find nobody (who dare) to side with you !
Unfortunately, the nuisance dog owners are usually a nuisance themselves. Ignorant people think that it's normal for their dog to bark all day and night.
Going to try this! My neighbors dogs are obnoxious and they do not care that the dogs are barking constantly. It's so annoying not to be able to enjoy your own yard because of the constant barking
This is going to piss off some folks, but some owners are oblivious to their pet's behavior and couldn't care less if neighbors can't take all night barking. I feel bad for the dogs. It's a form of neglect. I'll try the box. Thank you
I'm using 1000w Kef Koda Amp with the whistle frequency. I'm using an external mic and software that sets it off. The soundsysten stays in my house and it has trained my entire neighborhood for around half a mile maybe more. It goes through concrete walls in my flat, wood, most material. If the windows are open the neighbours dog rubs his face. I love dogs, but my kids and our health come first. The dogs locally may be slightly deaf now, who knows! Hey ho. It even stops dogs being walked barking at the neighbours dog. The owners look very confused. I watched a dog walker get dragged up the road by his German Sheppard last week and no dogs even pee on my fence now 🙌🏼👍🏻🤣
Hi can you elaborate more on how to do it? like where did you buy that stuff? Does it always on or only when the dog is barking? I also need some with a wide range that can pass through walls
Olivia, I have the very same problems -- kind of low-life neighbors, with several uncared for pitbulls. Is the green unit in above video waterproof (if that is the one you purchased)?
@@Myzeynep123 you do and so do I. Trying out some ultrasonic sounds from RUclips right now and other low pitch sounds that seem to be working 🤞🤞🤞 neighbor next to me has 10 dogs with 4 new born ones. Real sick lady and a neighbor in front that has a small one who barks all day for anything. Testing to see how these sound test go.
My neighbor leaves her window open so I have to listen to her Sunday tv preachers on my patio. I put a wireless speaker under her window, in my space, blasting Greek bouzouki music. Sooner than later she shuts the window. That's how you train the humans.
I moved to rural NM, to get away from being close to neighbors, their noise, etc. To have peace. And it was like that here. Until people moved into the properties behind us. Two new families with 2 big dogs each that never shut up. If they see any movement anywhere, they all start. Then the people two doors from me got one that joins in. So that's a total of 5 big dogs, all barking whenever I am on my own property. The owners know their dogs bark. They just do not care. It's very rare that a dog owner is not aware that their dog is a problem. Neighbors will say something. Animal control will be called to come around and talk to them. They know. They don't care. It has decreased my quality of life drastically. It's like being screamed at whenever you leave your home. And for the entire time you're outside. I've had to put my own dog on a leash, on our property, when we do laps, so he doesn't bark at them. I've had to buy noise canceling ear muffs. Getting exercise (walking laps, etc) on my property is so stressful because of the noise. But there is no other choices for me. Nowhere to go. My next door neighbor won't go in the back of her property now, because of this. The neighbor behind me had to put up a fence that cost several thousand dollars, just to get some peace. I don't know... It's just astonishing that people care so little about being good pet owners and neighbors.
Yup! They also use the barking as retribution for any other complaints, such as garbage piled up in the backyard, tresspassing and unauthorized parking. They are just bullies and evil minded people.
@@marciloni12 yes they are worst ppl in the planet I bet majority of them dog owners don't care much about babies young boy or girl its sick and disgusting. Truth
I have the same problem with my neighbors they have 5 dogs and the dogs are out 24 hrs a day and constantly bark, the dogs are as dumb as the owners, the dogs bark every time a leaf flutters, it driving me nuts
these dogs next door bark at the wind too......and any imagined thing......wow, I feel sorry for you........two live next door----- you have 5...........wow. we need laws especially in the city limits....where I live.
Same problem here. My neighbors have 4 dogs and they're out all throughout the day. They bark as if they're competing with one another. Who barks the most and the loudest wins, I guess. I know neighbors are uncomfortable saying anything directly to the owners. I can't afford to be uncomfortable in my own house, when I'm trying to work, rest or just enjoy quiet. So I have gone to my neighbors. It's gotten worse. This apparatus might help.
The dog of my right side neighbor barked non stop everytime I was out doing yard work, the neighbor never tried to stop it. One day I couldn't take it anymore, I shouted "Shut up!" so loud the neighbors accorss the street could hear me, right away I heard the neighbor stopping the dog, the bark stopped. That was about 5 months ago, I've worked a lot in the yard, I don't hear the dog bark again. Maybe she's keeping the dog on the other side of her house now.
We just bought a new home in a small subdivision and it was nice and quiet until our neighbors unstained a chain link fence and put a Doberman Pincher in it. Now every time we step outside, this thing barks "NON STOP" until we go back inside. We're definitely going to give this a try🤞 Tyvm
I've had problems over the years with two neighbors dogs barking excessively/endlessly and both of them were as crazy as their dogs. One even blamed me for her dog barking because "I moved around too quickly"...said her dog didn't like that. I guess she must have talked it over with her dog...nuts. Her dog barked at anyone and anything that moved. I'm also convinced that people with more than one dog are weird in one way or another because its been a common theme.
@Shispirina exactly! Why have a dog if you don't pay attention to it and leave it outside. Dogs are social and need interaction. They bark because they are bored and their needs are not being met.
Part of ignorance displayed by owners is that while the dog barks,,and barks,,is it is not barking toward the owners house but at yours. I recorded the mutts, set up the speakers and played their barking on a loop. The results have been hilarious.
Lol I thought to play hours of big dog bark during their sleep in. But then I might just mow the yard. I just bought the birdhouse and this other unit. My son somehow hears the high pitch of this unit! But we have wood fences so will have to mount. Not sure if the house will work as it says minimum 5 feet off ground. Smdh. Our neighbors are awful!! Three of them! Their dogs bark at each other and I'm caught in the middle with my old dog that is nervous of these rude, dumb dogs.
Hi Mark, you are quite correct. The dog NEVER faces the owners house when it barks. So - the dog owner does not hear the FULL ENERGY of their own dog's barking. 7 years of hell! The worst part, is the stress of BEING FORCED to listen, your concentration isn't the best. You feel that insanity could be taking over..... Finally, after the years of fighting with my neighbour, I have threatened to take private legal action. Dog barking has now reduced somewhat. I have three (3) Ultrasonic devices fitted under the Eaves of my house. All operated from a remote control key fob. All running from Solar, so no batteries to worry about. Does it work? Yes, the barking becomes less, and I leave the ultrasonics running for hours on end for the dogs' discouragement. I rigged-up the whole ultrasonic system myself, the sound exits from standard PVC pipes about 10 inches (250mm) long. Best of luck to all reading this. We're all here for the same reasons!!
@@dcoft4899 Like you said - your Neighbor's are Awful, Not the dogs. Dogs crave attention And exercise. Without it, they will probably act out & bark. It's common sense.
@@peterduxbury927 Sure the Owner hears the dogs barking. They don't Care! It's Not bad dog, it's a bad Owner. A dog that gets attention and exercise, is a well-behaved dog - Normally. Their Social beings! Call code enforcement. They should get a warning, then maybe fines. Dogs hear & smell things, that we can't. It has nothing to do with the direction they're facing. Dogs will bark out of boredom... BAD OWNER!
It's the owners, not the dogs. I let my dogs out four to five times a day and 90 percent of the time, you would never now they are out there, and when they do bark at something I either tell them to hush or bring them in. My neighbors just let them go at it all day. Thankfully, you can call animal control for excessive barking in my city, which I have many times, but I will definitely be trying on of these. Thanks!
@KANDEMACKJACK Check to see if your area has code-enforced quiet hours. Where I live, this excessive noise is prohibited from 11pm to 7am, and call the police. My idiot neighbors were ticketed when the police had to make 2 visits in the same night (first visit a warning, but they disregarded the warning and by 6am had been cited and fined.) We also have excessive noise ordinances for the rest of the day, and since the dog is now left outside by himself in a pen all day (and past sunset) I will be following through with city code enforcement and the police.
Vast majority of people who complain about dogs barking realize that it is an issue with the owners not taking responsibility because it is a behavior that can be at least somewhat controlled. I have yet to have encountered a dog owner with a problem barking dog that met a polite complaint with anything other than rudeness. Not once. You are a wonderful exception, as you do care.
@@bonedajo1557 I've tried the polite approach with neighbors, and every single time it fails and they just continue to let it go or just get hostile. Now I just go straight to animal control and or the property management company. Has worked every time, without creating a neighbor conflict.
My neighbour's dog is EXTREMELY needy. When the family's home, it's all good. But when they're gone most of the day on the weekdays, the dog BARKS FOR 5-6 HOURS straight😭 in the beginning I would just call out its name and say "it's ok".. And she's quiet for like 5 minutes and when we go back inside.. She starts barking and doesn't stop. I can't stand outside for the whole day telling it to be quiet😩
Do we have the same neighbors? Lol. My neighbor does the same thing. She leaves for 8 to 10 hours a day and her 2 dogs go ballistic the whole time she is gone. I cannot go outside my house without them flipping. If the wind blows these dogs bark.
I just moved to my new apartment and the neighbor’s dog barks/screams/scratches the door for HOURS when the owner’s not home. This morning I saw them leaving and understood the problem. They sneak out, carrying their shoes, coats, etc and put them on outside. At first the dog’s quiet, but before they finish putting everything on, the dog starts barking. I’ve had pets and i ALWAYS let them know I’ll be back before I leave. Imagine the stress knowing your owner randomly sneaks out of the house leaving you alone!! The problem isn’t the dog. It’s the owner.
I live in a village and there is one big dog a couple of roads away that barks nonstop every night for six to seven hours at a stretch. Other than that the village at night is so quiet you could hear a pin drop. The sound of this one dog resounds across the whole place. I don’t understand why these people aren’t embarrassed. What is wrong with them!!
Im feeling that pain right now. Its a hound dog no less with a howl bark and it barks NO STOP ALL NIGHT..and most of the day. People have complained who live closer and they put it in the garauge or a shed as its slightly muffled, yet still resonates through the neighborhood ALL NIGHT. Two nights ago at 3 30 in the morning i could not sleep as its barking set off the 2 dogs across the street and i called the cops. Not sure when or if they even showed up as they continued to bark until i got up for work DEAD TIRED to go to work at 5 am...however ...i have not heard the two dogs across the street anymore at night....but this hound dog ....well lets just say, if i was in possession of a rifle ...
Gather as a group and stand outside their house all night yelling HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY and see if it affects them. Bonus if some of you bring megaphones. I would seriously love to do that to my landlords, then be like '0h, is this BOTHERING you?'
Thk you so very much! I’m so conditioned to waking up at 4:30a.m. when my neighbor’s dog begins yelping incessantly this past couple months!! I will try this device!!
@@kaohsiung99 police can’t do much I’ve called 6 times recently they get a fine but it don’t stop now a court date I hope they remove the dog from these idiots
Apparently they won't work if you have a concrete fence between properties. I've tried three so far, no luck. Finally just had to file a noise complaint with city hall. They send out a public safety officer to explain the local ordinances. THAT has worked on two neighbords behind me, but now we have a third jerks who's deliberately teasing his dog to set it off.
I tried this and when my neighbors realised that even tho I told them to do something about dogs' barking and when they saw me trying to shut their dogs up they told me that I am not a human and they also told me to take mental advice and also act like a normal human. I bet mines are the worst neighbors you could ever see in your life. Wish me luck and pray for me cuz i have a really importatnt exam this year and i can't even study because of them :(
Really sad, that your neighbors are that way towards you. We are humans, dogs are animals. We are to make an effort to control our environment, and do unto others, as we have them do unto us. The last resort is to call the police. You deserve peace in your environment. God bless you and on your exams.
Yeah sad. We live in a needy seedy world where people are narcissist and sociopaths. I hope you find a good spot to study. I use to spend a lot time at the university libraries at high floors to study and sleep. I also ate a lot of junk food from vending machines and food kiosk too as a result of spending daylight hours on campus. Anyway not the most healthy lifestyle but I did ace all my exams. I should have allocated some time for social life and healthy exercise to balance it out.
I can completely understand you... My neighbors have 2 stray dogs who bark on any other dogs who are not living in the area....... I have tried talking to them multiple times but the response I got was " If you have so much problem with our dogs then go somewhere else to live".... Yep that's what they said and I was like what are you 2 yo or something??
You dont need these gadgets. Just take an empty 5 liter water bottle, throw in a handful of gravel and shake it each time the monster barks.I was at my wits end after 5 years of constant barking and got this advice. The 1st time I shook the bottle it had an effect. The dog stopped like in immediately. After a week or two of this the dog is way too scared to even make a sound. Works fantastic
Some people also mention an empty soda can with pennies. I will try that too. My neighbors dogs are driving me crazy. Every time someone walks by or car goes by or I go to the back porch to do laundry, their small dogs go off with their high pitch barks. They got at least a big one too with the low pitch but it seems the big one seems more chill and only barks at people/scents he doesn't know. They little ones just barks at anything.
Could not even bury my shih tzu in peace yesterday in my back yard! We've tried the dog silencer, spent $90 (and many other things) it's out there right now , it barks right through it, it's only 12 feet away through a chain link fence, it's not the batteries because it is plugged in, we even have a remote control, sometimes that works. (Its barking right now) It will walk to other side occasionally but comes back and starts again. We are getting cameras now to document the constant barking and taking it to a lawyer. Yesterday was the final straw. Neighbors are idiots , don't need to own dogs, NEVER once have even taken it for a walk!
My back yard neighbors have 3 or 4 dogs in small fence pens with plastic crate "doghouses" for them to sleep... Constant barking circus - Not even a ten minute break. One of the dogs has been tied to a tree many years - his entire life! The dogs are outside 24/7 no matter the weather and get ZERO attention from owners. Help! The distance is pretty far but they are loud enough to hear over the TV/stereo - even with doors & windows closed.
Buy a high powered led flashlight that has a strobe feature and adjustable zoom lense. When the dog starts barking spot light the dog with the light on strobe as soon as the dog stops barking turn the light off. Repeat this for a couple weeks and the dog will stop barking for most of the time it will still bark if someone enters it's yard but that's probably about it. It will work during the day as well my flash light cost $16 and zoomed in at high noon the beam is visible a block and a half away.
I live in a neighborhood where within 4 houses from my home all directions, the number of dogs went from 8 dogs three years ago, to over 35 dogs. The city is always broke yet they don't give out citations to anyone for breaking these ordinances. The barking is insane at times and the police & animal control seem to only warn the owners over & over, just saying put the dog in the house. And as soon as they're gone the animal is right back out. I had used a device similar to this but I found that these type of devices although high frequency, it's just that , ONE frequency. And because of that one flaw, it ONLY WORKS on certain dogs. And just like one sound may bother one person and not another, an adjustable range of frequencies will bother all. So I resorted to using a computer program, tone generator software. I had an old pair of PC speakers that had a builtin amplifier, so I clipped off the speakers & connected a pair of high quality Piezo tweeter speakers. The programs version I have allows me to either play multiple / separate frequencies at the same time, constantly till I stopped it. Or, I could set it to start at one frequency, ending with another. And using a Linear sweep setting with a loop setting, it would play all frequencies within that range, and then play in a loop, till I stop. www.nch.com.au/tonegen/index.html www.nch.com.au/index.html
there is book out a few years back called "electronic projects for the evil genius" theres a circuit in it called "canine controller" (uses a 555 or 556 chip to generate a sweep of frequencies to drive an amp,,, I built such a circuit many years earlier when I lived on a block with ~ 50 dogs on it (tried city animal control - useless ) at the time I couldnt find a suitable amp till this book, its similar to an RF amp, Im looking to run 6 - 10 PZ tweeters for long range deterrent, It will look like a large boom box
Might be a dumb dog loving area. State law means nothing if certain individuals in position of authority choose to not enforce the law. To think, these persons are all highly paid. Government employees make far more than those in the private sector.
I have a super annoying Chihuahua next door that barks constantly. Everytime he sees anyone or anything he goes crazy. I would rather not start a neighbor battle by reporting the dog but it's driving me crazy. Can't even enjoy my own back yard.
I know how you feel - but at 1 am one morning I finally had to call the police........and it worked for the 1 am times, but it barks real early and during the day........I have never seen an animal that I could tear into two pieces, until this barking dog........wow, God made animals for man.......NOT PEOPLE FOR ANIMALS......... oh how my heart goes out to you Bethany H. :)
What has worked for me is that I stare right into its eyes firmly. And if it keeps barking, I approach him. Do not walk away until the dog walks away or shuts up first. The dog will know you are the alpha and will become super doggie when you are around.
I have the upgraded version of the green one. It got barely splashed in a storm and quit working. It's advertised as weatherproof. I haven't ever had something get so little water on it and quit working. It worked moderately well on a shih-zu next door but not what I had hoped for.
How come our neighbors with the barking dogs never seem to be bothered by the barking dogs? How do they sleep through it and why don’t they care about what it’s doing to their neighbors?
I went over to ask my neighbor to do something about her 4 dogs. She stepped outside to have a conversation with me and said, "They only bark for 5 minutes." (not true) We could not complete the conversation without her opening her door to yell at her dogs to shut up...twice. Oi! Hello? Definitely a MORON.
some people thrive on constant commotion. So they're never bothered by the barking, they enjoy that constant random sounds invading, keeps them stimulated
My neighbor had bought regular dog whistle to quieted 2 dogs from loud barking. She is around 100 feet away plus 2 set of fences were in her way plus shed is also in the way too. I don't think it work as I had already told her. You're totally right about ultra sound is very line-of-sight as much lower frequency from barking dogs are still very loud even through fences.
💗😊💕I got an idea to put up privacy cling to my living room window….just up to where his nose prints reached….now my dog is much calmer…..just wanted to send this out into the world, by making this comment, in case others may find it beneficial. Also make sure to allow your best friend to walk you every day, you’ll both be happier. Love out to ALL💕😊💗
My neighbor let's her dog bark for up to 30 minutes at a time several times a day and then when she finally wants the dog to stop she will tell her dog to come get a treat. Shes so fucking stupid she doesnt realize she is training her dog "if you bark you get a treat". I want to rip my hair out
My neighbors keep their dogs, 2 German shepherds, a terrier, and a bulldog out 24/7. They bark at all the neighbors day AND night. Any time we're outside they bark at us and our dogs. Such nuisances, the owners, not the dogs, as its the owners fault for getting dogs for lawn ornaments. In fact, the second German shepherd they just got to breed with their other GS. The owners do not care that their dogs harass everyone, despite complaints. Think I may need to try this.
I love dogs too. Lived in a beautiful home for 15 years 2 beagles net door howled at the moon and barked all day and bayed most of the night. We sold our house and the dogs died 2 weeks later!😳
My dogs only bark at one neighbour because they hate him. They are outside for a few minutes every 2 hours or so. He’s hardly home. When he is home he has started using an air horn. Now my dogs won’t even go outside
Thank you for this our neighbours dog is louder as a siren, and I wanna shut up the dog because im doing a video based project in school, and it barks every time even when my gramma is sleeping...
Omg!! Thank you so much for this info. We just bought a house been here for the past 3 weeks our neighbor's dog is obnoxious with the BARKING non-stop. Can't even watch TV peacefully with the dog BARKING. Is so bad we've been having to sleep in the basement room on the other side of the house not able to sleep in our room 🤦♀️😡
Thank you for the good review. I am somewhat tempted to try the green one. We have a 4 acre property and the new neighbors next door are hostile towards us because they wanted part of our land so we had it surveyed and put up some fence posts to mark the line which they took personally. They bought a german shepherd and installed an invisible fence right inside the property line and walk it all day long along the property line as reprisal. We cant go out on that side of our 4 acre property without this huge dog growling and barking at us with the neighbors standing there smirking at us and allowing this to happen. We arent afraid of it as we love animals but also wont let it hurt us and we do trust their level of training as they train it all day long to mind the invisible fence but that dog feels like we are attacking them on our own property. It's the emotional attack that hurts us the most as we know they are doing this to spite us. This green device probably wont work because we have to be careful not to let them see it and we put up a trail cam 50 feet inside the property line and they saw it. It's pretty open and easy to see despite the vegetation.. and so hiding this will be hard and necessitate us putting it far away from the line. I wish there was a really powerful sound blaster we could use with a remote switch.
They started the drama first, put that barking deterrent facing along the property line with a trail cam facing the deterrent. If they mess with either get a lawyer.
thank you for this review! I was hesitant to get these because I live in a semi-rural area and was concerned about impacts on wildlife, if it only reacts to barking, it wont! sold!
My 'neighbour' happens to be my landlord who happens to live upstairs. For 6-10 hours every weekend day they leave the house and leave it up there to bark non stop the entire time they're gone. We can't afford to complain because of who it is but I am ready to take a bullet to get away from hearing this thing. My young son is also in great distress. We're autistic and cannot ignore it, even headphones and showering doesn't block it out, and there is nowhere in the suite the sound doesn't reach. I'm disabled so I can't leave the house most of the time, certainly never for all day. It makes me hate the dog. I don't hate dogs. I know it's not the dog's fault. But I can't help it, I wish I could punt that thing right into the sun.
I'm looking for a more amplified version of this for a poodle across the street from us but, our 2nd story window might work. Their wooden fence is at least 200 ft away from us so, I'm wondering if the sound can be boosted through another speaker system? This little poodle has been left outside all winter, non stop barking very consistently! I don't blame the dog, I blame the owners! They keep the dog outside because they have a new baby. I think the dog is just lonely!
Just moved into a newly constructed neighborhood and it was very relaxing and peaceful to sit out on the patio any time of day. A new neighbor moved it kind of behind me and has a horrible barking dog that won't quit. It seems to be medium to large (can't see over the fence). It barks constantly at nothing. Sorry he is so unhappy but I can't take this anymore. My fence is a 7 foot wooden fence. I had it hung up high on my patio facing so that it is over the fence. It has been two days and it still barks. I have the birdhouse type. I will pay more for one if it works. In the meantime, I am praying that God will silence this dog. There is a dog on the otherside of my house, never hear a word from it. My dog rarely barks because I tell him "no" He is a cockapoo and is also scared of the barking. I would put of 5 if they would work. There are no other noticeable barkers except for far away. HELP!
There are about 6 dogs in the house behind us that constantly bark when they are out in the garden, The owner lets them out between 1am and 2 am the barking is bad enough but then she comes out shouts at the dogs then shakes the cat biscuit tin to call her cats in. I don't blame the dogs I blame the owner in fact her shouting I find much worse that the barking. Everyone else in the neighbourhood must be sound sleepers
Here I am here out of desperation from barking dogs outside of my windows......If I were a police, lawyer or city mayor, I would require all outside dog owners to purchase the good dog silencer you have in the video..........
I have a huge issue. My neighbors do not care and think barking dogs are fine. She had an aggressive like code red dog first. This is a new dog. It got to the point of safety that I had to call the county. She now does it on purpose. I feel bad for the dog, but I also want to enjoy my yard. This new dog is a small dog
Going to have to look into these a bit more it is currently 430 am as I write this and my neighbors dogs just stopped barking after almost 2 hours of constant noise
I need this for when I got on a walk :) my neighbors are catty corner to me and have two maltese that bark non stop and are always outside. I walked my dog past their house, and my neighbor was PISSED at me because her dogs were barking their heads off at me and my dog was jumping all over because she got very excited. I actually didn't mind it until this moment, because of my neighbors reaction I feel I need something to keep her dogs quiet now.
What I found to work is to Bluetooth blast RUclips annoying dogs barking through my speakers at my neighbors house. The offending neighbor will then take their little angel back into the house ( much to the relief to all of the other neighbors)
Hmm, thank you for this idea. I'll try it first, because I have the equipment. Then try the ideas in the video if needed. I hate how I have to spend money to fix my neighbor's idiocy.
I'm hoping these are viable options. How do these products work in cold weather areas? I am at my wits end with a neighbor and her dogs. The majority of the problems stem from her being an irresponsible dog owner. She is present when the dogs are barking and does absolutely nothing to correct the behavior besides screaming from inside the house at them. Several neighbors contacted the Humane society about the noise, all they did was send a notice and asked that she put a bark collar on the problem dog. She responded to this by getting another dog that barks just as much if not more at absolutely nothing while sparingly putting the collar on the first barking dog. In a way I understand that it's not the dogs fault as we all have noticed they haven't been walked in at least a year. The only place they can go is on the back patio which I can just imagine their frustration. This only leaves one to ask why did this irresponsible dog owner get two more dogs when they were unable to properly care for one? I'm obviously venting but if you had to listen to large dogs barking non-stop for 30 minutes or more, multiple times a day, while the owner is either inside the house screaming at them or even more infuriating, sitting outside with them while they are barking, I think everyone can understand the need to vent.
@@B4its2L8guy yup, they are, my mom ever tell to that one annoying neighbor but she said "i dont care blablabla" but she own the dog and then all my neighbors who didnt own the dog got annoyed and yeah, theyre the one who is responsible for owning a dog and doesnt treat it well
One type that I purchased and ended up returning said in the instructions to only turn it on when the dog begins barking. They said it was for longer battery life. My problem is that the dog, which is an animal abuse rescue, lives in a condo about 30 feet away and spends a lot of time on the balcony, which is across from mine along with the room where I sleep. There will be silence for even up to and over an hour, but then he lets loose with an angry, violent sounding, intense barking session which usually doesn’t last more than 30 seconds to a minute. He barks as if someone is trying to break in...it’s that aggressive. It is startling and invasive to me. Six months ago I had a conversation with the owner, who was very apologetic and agreeable to my request to not let him on the balcony until 10am so that I could get a good nights sleep. That request was honored for a few months and now it’s back to 8 am. So here’s my question. Since he barks so briefly, I can’t get out there fast enough to turn the device on. I need something that is on all the time. Would a device be at all effective on short, loud, vicious barks? I love dogs and am glad he has a home, but the owner does not appear to have even attempted any training for this. She says nothing to the dog when he starts up. I don’t understand how she doesn’t seem to care about her neighbors
The video seems to suggest the device would work for that kind of problem. Leave it plugged in and pointing at the balcony and it will only emit noise when the dog barks. They say the dog should learn in a few weeks by associating the high pitched noise with its own barking. Good luck.
Our home has been peaceful until somebody else moved into the property next door. They have waaaayyy too many dogs and they bark incessantly. I am ready to throttle my neighbor because it's flat rude and inconsiderate.
People have no idea how annoying their dogs are. I don't blame the neighbours dog as the poor thing is kept in a yard and never taken out for a walk and somehow its my fault that I cant handle a high pitch yapping dog that barks incessantly when they leave.
I agree 100 % We were good friends with our neighbors..then they got a German Shepherd..We have a chain link fence,I couldn't go outside for years if the dog was there. The owners (who were our friends !) did nothing to stop the dog from trying to attack us,and would praise the dog ! Just within the last few weeks it died.My luck..the neighbors on the other side got 2 pit bull puppies to go with their black lab. The owners are lazy, don't walk the dogs. they let them outside by our bedroom windows. I was so sick with the Flu Christmas-New Years. Every time my head hit the pillow they were outside talking and playing with these dogs ! I have no luck ! You can't reason to a dog person, animals come first not people.
I have it on both sides of my house. The one neighbor seems to be getting their dog under control. The other neighbor's dogs are awful. I've put up with this for 13 years while other neighbors have called the City, which did absolutely nothing. They suggested muzzleing the dogs, but the owners only feel for their dog's discomfort and no one elses.
Hmm, I live with dogs all around me, but have none myself and have only been bothered by the next door neighbor's Yorkies a few times. If I hear a barking dog between Midnight and 4:30am I will investigate because something is very wrong, which requires action! Thanks for the info!
is there something to use for the human neighbors? my neighbors are ridiculously noisy. many dog it's the barker and i will get one for her. i like that better than the bark collar
People don't have a clue as to what a dog needs. They just get a dog, or worse, a whole pack of them, and let them sit in the yard all day every day. Dogs need EXERCISE! They get aggravated because they can't get rid of their pent-up energy. Our neighbours have 5 dogs and two of them will bark at us all day long. They'll even bark when we flush a toilet or close a door. I get that the neighbours don't want to lock them up when they leave and want to give them some space to roam, but even after we've talked to them the dogs are still barking excessively. I can't sit outside and enjoy a cup of tea without the biggest dog barking at me for an hour straight. We've tried making friends with them, giving treats through the fence, talking to them, calling their names, etc. All the dog wants to do is bark. They need to take it out for a good run at least twice a day, but they don't. I hate the dog most days, but I also feel sorry for it.
Can you please show how you have these installed! I’m currently listening to the dog behind me barking non stop for over an hour. Annoying little mop dog!
Neighbors that don't teach their dogs or continue to disturb neighbors by leaving them there barking.. shouldn't have dogs.. and remember, call animal control.. get them to muzzle the dog..or get fined
My upstairs neighbors little dog barks like there's no tomorrow, as soon as I get home at 6pm he barks all the way until 11pm. I'm getting the one and pray that this works.
I have a wood fence. How would you mount it over a fence on a pole and do you have to point it down towards the dog? If its high above a fence does it still work or do you have to put it at dog level?
Bingo
Because this stupid society gives them right to do so. Dogs are put on pedestal and their owners know it. If you complain about dogs you are the "bad guy" and you'll find nobody (who dare) to side with you !
I agree with the part that they shouldn't reproduce. Fortunately they still do -_-
exactly!
they dont call it a dog when its a barker? nosto something city and county lol extra tapatio please
Victims of dog nuisance shouldn't have to do the work of the actual dog owners. Dog owners should be responsible.
Yeah but some are just ignorant
Dog owners don't even know their dog barks excessively no point trying to reason with them because they believe your just making it all up.
File a complaint with the police. In my city unresolved noise matters can result in a misdemenor offense.
Hi Jeff where do I get one of these amps ? cheers

Jeff, I love this! Best darn advise ever.
Going through this problem right now. I’m soooooo close to baiting the thing. I’ve put up with it for years and I’ve had a gut full.
This saved my life. My neighbors know they bark and don’t care 🙃
Same with my neighbours. So selfish that they don’t do anything about it. I feel like I have anxiety because of it

Good for you. That's hilarious!
HA HA HA.
I've just read about someone who recorded their neighbours dog barking and played it back to them very loudly and at 2am.
Your story is so sad...I've dealt with the same problem..yours sounds worse..
I'm so glad to have found this site. This has confirmed so much of what I'm experiencing.
Some people don't care, they are selfish and have no respect for other people.
I wonder about people with several big dogs on property. Around here it's common for the drug house to be surrounded by awful dogs.
DO what I did. Dragged my stereo out and pointed it to the neighbors and blasted at full volume HEAVY METAL music. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH.
Some neighbours do not like to be reminded about their dogs. They just don't care.
Unfortunately one day will care when it happens to them
I don't talk to those neighbors anymore. I let the police talk to them. Taking them to court is on the table. Awful people!
Which means there are lots of sociopaths allowed to be in society.
Truth

these dogs next door bark at the wind too......and any imagined thing......wow, I feel sorry for you........two live next door----- you have 5...........wow. we need laws especially in the city limits....where I live.

When my neighbors with the barking dogs are out in their backyard I stand at the fence and yell HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY...
It's nasty that it has to come to that!
A lot of dog owners don't care about their dogs disturbing neighbours. There should be a test before they can be allowed to own a dog.
@Shispirina exactly! Why have a dog if you don't pay attention to it and leave it outside. Dogs are social and need interaction. They bark because they are bored and their needs are not being met.
Or a kid…
I had a dog barking next door and took the person to court and they had to get rid of their dog.
I’m going to court in two weeks I’ve already filed 6 complaints with police but police said it would have to be court ordered to be removed

Watched a lot of videos on this topic dogs barking. Hands down yours was the most informative and to the point.

I agree the owners just have no clue

Do we have the same neighbors? Lol. My neighbor does the same thing. She leaves for 8 to 10 hours a day and her 2 dogs go ballistic the whole time she is gone. I cannot go outside my house without them flipping. If the wind blows these dogs bark.
Reminds me of a dog that I saw in a foreign country, tied up outside of a wall and crying/moaning all day long.

Incessant barking is considered civil harassment so yeah if they don’t want to be responsible dog owners then have the judge force their hand.

Because they're MORONS!
My neighbour knows full well. Enjoys the torture. I have these devices, for me they don't work 😪
I went over to ask my neighbor to do something about her 4 dogs.
Its just laziness. Theyre too lazy to get off of the couch or out of bed to bring the dogs in. That's why it's their problem.
I’m a dog lover but there’s a German Shepard down the road that barks so loud I hear it. Thanks for this video
I love dogs too. Lived in a beautiful home for 15 years 2 beagles net door howled at the moon and barked all day and bayed most of the night. We sold our house and the dogs died 2 weeks later!😳
@@msmyramorgan751 Somebody probably poisoned the dogs if they both died at the same time.
You are god sent angels
God bless your ears
My strategy would be to blast Baby Shark on a loop at full volume.
185 barking dog owners disliked this video lol
Tough merde.
My dogs only bark at one neighbour because they hate him. They are outside for a few minutes every 2 hours or so. He’s hardly home. When he is home he has started using an air horn. Now my dogs won’t even go outside
How to secretly train the neighbors dogs😂😂 love it!
Please let me know, I'm desperate. They don't see a problem, just think I'm an odd old woman.
Thanks 4 u info. My new neighbors have 3 dogs and bark all night. In my work i'm wrong due to the barking of dogs.
I had a barker breaker dog collar that I wrapped around a tree, same idea, and it worked every time.I used to be pet foster parent.
Do you have a link? And does it work through a wooden fence?
I've filed so many noise complaints and nothing's has been done. The police never show. I'll give this a try. Thanks.
Same I'm surprised none of my other neighbors complain. I'm ready to blow my brains.
I was hesitant to get these because I live in a semi-rural area and was concerned about impacts on wildlife, if it only reacts to barking, it wont! sold!
4:29 - 4:41 that’s all I heard “direct shot / line of sight” 😏👍🤫
Simply contact the rspca any owners that leave their dogs in distress should not be pet owners
O" this sounds really good....I am going to tell people to check out your video here.....GOD'S JOY my friends.
HELP!
I just prayed that the Lord would answer your prayer.
Did it work? If not, did you try any other devices?
Call animal control
How has it been? I have similar problem.
Every time i walk into my backyard, my neighbor's dog is always barking nonstop. It's annoying af. I cant even enjoy my own backyard.
I am very lucky to have a dog that does not bark outside.. but all the other dogs do. most of the time at 3am
Thank you so much ! Looking into this 😘
I have a huge issue.
Any tips for apartment building dwellers dealing with barking dogs through walls?
Play loud music whenever it happens.
What if the neighbours the problem 🤮
If you neighbours dog is barking, the neighbours are the problem.
They always are. It's not the dogs fault, dogs are exactly like kids. If you don't raise them right they'll grow up to be obnoxious!!

Him: "What do they do??"

Typing this on the other side of my fence whilst being barked at...
I’m going to order one this week!!
Thank you so much! Just what I needed to know.
Thanks! Trying this.
People have no idea how annoying their dogs are. I don't blame the neighbours dog as the poor thing is kept in a yard and never taken out for a walk and somehow its my fault that I cant handle a high pitch yapping dog that barks incessantly when they leave.
wish they have this for human beings.
Hi it's Debbie again. I figured out how to see where your link was and it's good life Inc so I will recommend it to this guy. Thank you
German shepherd is the right choice for the thumbnail picture. Absolute pain in the arse of a breed for constant barking for absolute no reason.
My neighbor needs to put shock collars on the their dogs and let me have the remote control to the collars.
Thank you
You guys are an awesome couple. Thanks for the vid. What is the name of the green one?
Let it out of the fence and say shoo would be my method. 😂
I can't wait to try this
Neighbors that don't teach their dogs or continue to disturb neighbors by leaving them there barking.. shouldn't have dogs.. and remember, call animal control.. get them to muzzle the dog..or get fined
Animal control does nothing and police will fine them but it goes nowhere
My upstairs neighbors little dog barks like there's no tomorrow, as soon as I get home at 6pm he barks all the way until 11pm. I'm getting the one and pray that this works.
Did it work?
I hope this works. My neighbors german sheppard sucks.
I have a wood fence. How would you mount it over a fence on a pole and do you have to point it down towards the dog? If its high above a fence does it still work or do you have to put it at dog level?
If you can draw an unobstructed imaginary line from the device to the dog you should be fine. The more accurate you can point it the better.
I'm buying one!
Just open the gate...free dogs dont bark.
You ever heard of Ring? You probably don't even know or realize how many people in your neighborhood have a Ring camera/doorbell.
I got the green one it worked great 2 days.... no barking
Wish I had cool neighbors like this
