It’s not just about 50 games over 30 points, it’s about leadership, facilitation, playmaking, rebounding, making your teammates better, all of the things that Doncic and Jokic do for their teams. Personally, my pick was Luka for MVP.. I thought he had the best “wow factor” individual season.. I thought SGA had the best season for leadership, overall consistency and defensive prowess.. and Jokic was the easiest to vote for - same great stats as before, defending champ, people think he was robbed last season, etc.

One of the most reasonable takes from SAS I've ever heard. He's totally right - the Mavs as a team are benefitting from Luka's gravity, while OKC has not benefitted from Shai's -- and looked like the lesser team outside of Game 1 and the last few minutes of Game 4 even with Luka hobbled. Add in being away and comparative inexperience and an OKC collapse in Game 6 is extremely likely. If they survive Game 6, all bets are off on Game 7.

One of the most serious, interesting and insightful First Take segments in Stephen A.'s long career, he broke it down magnificently, he is absolutely spot on on every point he brought up, he didn't try to be controversial or clownish with his usual childish immature takes, it was perfectly balanced with a little bit of comedy sprinkled in there, that's the old school Stephen A that we used to love, he is smart and knows his basketball, I don't get why he constantly tries to be funny and controversial, he gave a perfectly complete analysis about the Dallas Mavericks, it's a shame that Luka is hobbled and Kleber is out for the season, otherwise i could see Dallas giving the Nuggets a run for their money.
