- Reunited and it feels so good!!! After one year and 6,500 NM we sail back into a familiar anchorage in Nosy Be, Madagascar! It's so nice to be around good friends :) We take Greg, Chyanne and Camilla to some of our most favorite anchorages to see lemurs, turtles and smiling faces!

Yeah La Vagabond died (for me anyway) the moment "they" decided to ditch Rileys sailboat and go for a party barge / condo.
Not just that, but now they've hired a guy to film them. Way too commercialised with look at me syndrome, kind of killed the vibe.
Eric, now that they have actually started sailing on the cat I am hoping it will return to it's old self. Anyway me think we are on the wrong channel for this discussion no?
I have watched 15 episodes today. Its as if I am on Delos with you guys. Life is so busy for me. Couldn't ever see myself doing what you guys do. That is how chasing the buck keeps us all so busy.
It always puts a smile on my face when utube says new video on Delos.

Geeeze you guys, You are responsable make me getting to work late every friday morning... I just HAVE to watch your week y video while sipping my morning coffee and because of that I leave late. This one was particularly good. It made me feel soooo good, sooo happy and sooo calm...I bet I had a smile on my face the whole time I watched. Today my first day of summer vacation, I was able to enjoy it without streesing about work.
Keep them coming and never worry about the vids being too long. I think I speak for most of us, we just eat them up as fast you can dish 'em out!
Dude...Kaaza frames a camera really well. Like, bad ass. She's actually likely you guys best camera person. She seems almost neurotic about using the rule of 3rds in when she lines her shot up, and she holds a 3 dimensional 3rd even when she's reframing, panning, or really any movement. Git it guuuuuurl!!! Each time a Delos video starts, the morning camera leaves Brady and enters the galley where Karin is pouring an orange drink....when you look up, you see this lovely face beaming with an expression that says she is so glad to see you. That moment sets the tone for another great video.....

Spanish Mackerel, amazing fish in curries and such.
I make a mean paella with it boiling the bones and head with celery, carrot, onion and saffron to make the stock. Cook short grain rice, chicken, chorizo, capsicum (bell peppers), red onion and mackerel. And add the stock. Serve with lemon wedges.

Am I the only one who thinks Max's music is incredible. It's as good as anything I've heard and fits perfectly with the vibe of the show.

I cut my lawns today. Very muggy day..put my two A/C units on..watched a few movies on cable. I ate an egg salad sandwich for supper, and Cranapple juice. Love it...Its 9pm east coast USA...I grabbed my laptop, and I'm laying in bed watching your video. My back is constantly acting up...so I have to recline or lay down. Well what I'm getting at is I NEVER GO ANYWHERE ! I WENT TO FLORIDA ONCE IN A CAR. (age 12)...got beat up by an angry Disney World worker. He called me a damn yankee and shoved me so hard I fell onto the go cart track from 10 feet down a hill. The guy was in his twenties!. He had "Park Rage" I wish we sued the park..I had a banged up knee and a sprained ankle . I was lucky..We Didn't sue..we just didn't do things like that in those days. He got pissed, because I, a skinny 12 year old shy blonde kid, accidently bumped the go cart in front of me while driving up the exit ramp.to get off the crappy ride. These things had "automatic brakes" so when you took your foot of the gas pedal, It was supposed to stop!..mine didn't.! I had mini bikes and go carts I purchased with my own paper route money !! so I knew how to drive a slow go-cart for cripe sakes. What a crappy place. I never felt welcomed the 2 days we were there.So That's the kind of life I've had. Crappy. That's why I watch your videos.and the ocean and how you just catch a fish to eat!...I love boats, the ocean.Its my sign too.O well, in my next life maybe......ps..Oh, and on the bus, backto the hotel we were staying at, we step on, and the fat guy driving says.."Back of the bus, Yankee's"....so we had to go to the back , standing room only....and I remember a black guy was standing in the back...AND HE says..."get behind me Yankee's" "who do you think you are?..!! I said to my friends mom, why do people down here act like bratty kids ?!! She laughed we left the next day, and we drove back up the coast to New England.(with nasty people all around)...all the nice people died off,and new ones moved in. Oh brother!.

It's so nice living the dream with you guys a half hour or so at a time. I would spend the rest of my life like that if I could. You guy should invest in a couple of good fishing rods and reels. It would make it a lot easier to reel those fish in.

Brian - I've been watching since Ep 1 - before you numbered your episodes, I'm pretty sure. Since 2010 at least. Found Delos while watching the SV Honeymoon, who pretty much pioneered the SailVlog concept, which y'all took from level 1 to level 11. (**Note to SV Delos followers, check out the SV Honeymoon vids in between SV Delos Fridays - very much worth the time**). I might even be subscriber #1 - not sure but there's a good chance. Anyway, I've always enjoyed your videos and admired your bravery in your life choices. It's not easy to quit the 9 to 5, chase a dream, and boot strap your way to independence. You did that, and that's awesome. If you ever steer Delos through the St. Lawrence Swy and into Lake Michigan, let me know. Bells Oberon for the crew on me and my fam.
