Very interesting. Love the creativity put into the unique designs of the game board. 👍 I live in North Pontiac Michigan, and a very large number of my neighbors are from Mexico. I have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation Mexican immigrants all around me, and my neighbors right across the street, play it outside in their driveway in the summer. It's a pretty exciting game to watch folks play.
Imagine a poleana set, that is in the theme of the besuited Cogs from Walt Disney's Toontown Online and its fan-made offshoots, perhaps with a blue-green herringbone patterned border based on the outfit of the Boardbots from Toontown: Corporate Clash.
There are hundreds of variations of these race games from all over the world, including versions played in Mexico before the Spanish arrived (usually called patolli or patole), Sorry and Wahoo are the versions most popular in the US.
I immediately recognized the park at the beginning; it's a great place to go running. Across the street, the area gets a bit rough (Col. Doctores), but if you head in the opposite direction, it’s much nicer. I see these guys there every weekend morning, getting together to play this game.
I'm assuming your basing your statement on its similarity to Pollyanna? If so, then that game is in the public domain because Eleanor H. Porter, the author of the novel the game was based on, died over 100 years ago.
Can't find the game for sale anywhere, or rules or how to setup a board game. I'm so curious though, would love to try it out! I hope some entrepeneural Mexicans put it out there!
Are Mexicans considered millionaires in their country if t hey own 1 million pesos? That amount of pesos is 50k us dollars so I am confused do theh use us currency as a reference?
You see, there are two kinds of people in this world: those who want to bring people together, and those who want to put them apart. You seem to be the second kind.

The best part of the video is when you had them explain the rules. O, wait.
That looks fun ngl
Wonder how they aren't sued back into prison for copyright infringement

Can't tell if u trollin, but it's more likely a reference to all the graphics with SpongeBob, The Simpsons, Mario, etc.
@@3001416 what will those copyright holders accomplish by suing people who have no money whatsoever to pay them back?
Regular people don't give af about copyright in mexico.
Come enforce those laws in Mexico lol
I love this. The original intent of Snakes and Ladders was also to teach about the pitfalls of life.
Many things from Mexican prisons have made their way here and are creating quite an impact.
What? This is "Sorry". Playing this since the 80s.
Enjoy the game, but please do *NOT* glorify prison lifestyle.
Disfruten el juego, pero por favor *NO* glorifiquen el estilo de la vida en la prisión.
I don't see how this glorifying anything. Humanizing is not the same as glorifying.
NGL I would love to get this on Amazon or at a toy store
This has the vibe of Sorry
Nah something that brings people together and smiles can never have a sorry vibe

Like your life
This boardgame is designed to be liked by prisoners because the objective of the game is freedom.
Bring them together in Mexico. Don’t need it here.
It’s already here, too bad 🤪
