- Setting up for sublimation. Starts with discussing installing the Epson F570, how to add the color profiles in ColorSync, how to use ColorSync, how to use the iCC profiles in Photoshop on your Mac.
This is the best tutorial I have to seen that clearly explains understanding and managing color profiles for the Epson SC-F570. I greatly appreciate the level of detail and explanation that has been included in the instructions. Thank you!!!
Glad it was helpful, thank you.
I never leave comments, but this is the most helpful video EVER! Thank you so much!

This is the most comprehensive video I've watched on this subject. A million thank you's!!!!
I just want you to know your video saved my f570 from being launched out of the window. The setting you had didn't work, but you taught me a lot about the backend mechanics. I was finally able to get my settings perfect for all colors. Thank you so much!
Glad you were able to make use of the video. I need to make an updated one since macOS has updated and the screens don’t look the same anymore
@@designedlyfe9665 oh and to boot I was on the phone w rosin for almost 2 hours and they didn’t help at all. So much love to ya!

Great information! New subscriber here!!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!!!!
You’re welcome and thank you as well.
Thank you for doing this. It was helpful. IT didn't solve my issue, but I am thinking I have a printer issue,.
You’re welcome. I’m actually going to be doing an updated one soon. What issue are you experiencing?
You're amazing !!!! I would love to give something for your time if that's ok !!!!
Ahhh this is a great video but I am stuck adding the profile to the specific program, ie mac preview application, do I need to use another software
You would want to use actual graphic software, for the best controls.
If you do use Preview, you lose access to deeper color controls on the pro sub printers. On converted printers, preview is fine, just set color matching to Epson color controls.
You could hit ColorSync in color matching and set the profile there, if you prefer to use Preview.
love this but no matter what I do after installing the driver it is missing in my color sync utility so I can't go any further :(
What software are you printing out of?
Hello, thanks for the info video. After following your tutorial, when I searched for the ICC profiles none of them are there. Would it be possible to get a download link for the profiles you used?
Epson doesn’t supply them by download. They are built into the printer software already downloaded. When you go to your Library folder, do you see two folders labeled profile?
@@designedlyfe9665 Yes I have seen them both, but on my mac the profiles were missing.
Did you close all your graphic software and restart your Mac? Usually once you restart it should be showing on the Photoshop print window when it’s set to Photoshop managing the colors.
Was able to get it running. Thanks a lot!
You’re welcome. Let the fun begin!
Question. What if once I’ve downloaded the driver, and I don’t see the Epson color profile? I was trying to follow along, but it’s really hard to see what you’re clicking on due to your windows being extremely small.
When you download the driver, run it and that will add the color profiles to your ColorSync folder . Sorry about the screen size, it’s a huge display 😩 which makes it zoom out. This is a great article with screenshots from Johnsons Plastics, moving the profiles on a Mac ast.jpplus.com/support/solutions/articles/65000174619-adding-color-profiles-on-mac-os
Also try moving the video into theater mode that will zoom the screen it. It’ll be an option viewing from a computer, it’s a square box in the lower corner of the video or hit the t key on your keyboard
I was having the same issue but I was able to find them in a different location. first, select Go - computer - MAC - Library - printers folder - EPSON folder - then in sear bar type .icc - then switch from "this Mac" to "epson' and they will pop up. Hope this helps and don't ask how I found that out I was just clicking different folders.
@@L1LB1RD012345 you def saved me with this comment! Thank you so much❤
I have followed your instructions for the installation & I still can not see the colour profiles in the library. I would love some help :)
Did you install the Epson print driver?
@@designedlyfe9665 Yes I did. It is version 10.93.
Ok skip to 5 minutes into the video and watch the steps there. Make sure you have any graphic software closed when you do the steps. Then reboot your computer these steps
