  • The in-depth reality of an Autism Burnout and how to manage it effectively.
The truth is that an autism burnout can sneak up on you when you least expect it, and can in fact hit you right when you think you are totally in control.
It is never easy to recover from autism burnout and it isn’t easy to deal with it when it happens.
In this video I discuss with my friend Zack James from Yo Mamma the ins and outs of the dreaded autism burn out and what it is like to be an autistic adult being self employed and making content on RUclips.
This video is an open discussion to hope you learn and deal with autism burnout as and when it happens.
If you have anything to add to this discussion, please leave a comment on this video as I read and respond to every message and I would love to have that conversation with you.

This channel is so inspiring, I wish the US was not so behind on diagnosing adults especially women! I feel like we are so behind on diagnosing people and view everything as anxiety or depression disorders, just because it's not severe autism. Your lucky to be in the UK!

Sei Adriana The UK behind to with diagnosed women they believe it actually will be 2 males to 1 female.
But official study was 3 boys to 1 girl.
So diagnosing in women is slowly getting there in the last 5 years.
But it still a few years away from getting the actual number of 2 boys to 1 girl ratio of diagnosing ASD.

My coach says people with autism can not have a burn out because they're sensory overloaded every day.....
    🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️ WTAF!
She's really qualified though so this statement made my jaw drop....
It probably means most of us had a burn out in childhood already or at least in high school age!

    Hi Dan,
I am the spectrum too with Aspergers and I was wondering if you could do a product review on Vibes High Fidelity earplugs. I have heard that it really helps people with autism that are very sensitive to sound. The link for the product ->www.amazon.com/Vibes-High-Fidelity-Concert-Earplugs/dp/B018WPOQSG. I have commented about this very topic on your other video on sensory overload, but you didn't leave a reply. A review would be highly appreciated! Thanks

I feel the autism centric channel I can never compete with million subscribers.
Because it have other subject point will bring in the majority of the world subscribers.
Like say 98% of world population don't have autism.
So say there is more subscribers of Little Mix channel because the whole world can choose to relate to the band.
Because aspergers/autism is rare compared to the world population.
Sadly with COVID the world population is lowering.
But still in you tube terms of subscribers.
A autism centric like yours you Channel is primier about autism.
    Over not autism centric channel.
So they have autism but gaming is the main topic.
So they get million subscribers because the whole world can relate to video games rather than autism.

Also people have choose to like you and they want to stick with your channel.
As they say autism leads people to the channel.
But it the person that makes viewers stay.
