Now I'm about to dive down the rabbit hole. Keep up the great work. This video is fucking sick. It's a cover performance, and not just some guy sitting there and editing a music video together (not that there is anything wrong with that since they still put the work in to cover the song).

Playing these riffs and keeping the groove of the music without any other music to play to, seamlessly nailing one of the most impressive guitar solos I’ve heard, all while doing vocals, is absolutely crazy. As soon as I see some cuts or any slick production really I become skeptical of covers. I mean kudos to them for learning video production as well as music but it is so much harder to just set the camera up and let it rip. Mad respect.

Jeeeez dude, this is super impressive. The balls to upload a one take raw cover like this with no backing... I don't think people realize how much a backing track covers up mistakes (or how much little editing goes on in most peoples' covers). Not to mention how crazy this material is to play clearn, let alone sing at the same time.

Not having the other instruments really allows us to appreciate the insane amount of skill required to play this track as you did.
The solo isn't that hard to play if you're familiar with the arpeggio shapes and tapping.
But the riffing is insane, plus doing vocals on top of that is amazing.
Man, keep working on your skills and you'll be able to make even crazier stuff.

Practice practice practice. Dont stop till you practice some more and then add a little dash of more practice and maybe one scoop of praxtice practice.
Learn some easy songs with easy vocal patterns. Practice those until you can nail them perfectly, then up the difficulty and repeat. You could also write your own stuff and practice that way. Learn some proper vocal technique too, there's videos all over youtube.
