- In this video you will learn how to easy overclock Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti OC Edition. You can overclock your graphics card with Gigabyte Xtreme Gaming Engine or AORUS ENGINE.
If you have different graphics card (EX: GTX 900 Series, 100 Series - 1060, 1070 ..) this method actually works with all of them.

I see there are 4 modes in that softwere. Right now I'm constantly using "gaming mode". Can I switch to "OC mode" and leave it like that permanently ? It's not gonna hurt my GeForce 1070 ?

When I open AORUS it just says no device

The fan has a setting that disables itself when its cool enough hahaha

You have to choose one of them. Aorus engine is more recent software from gigabyte

I don't recommend manually overclocking already oc edition graphics card. I've overclocked it for benchmarks only but for long term use I really don't recommend. OC may damage your graphics card if you can't do it properly and don't worth damiging the card for an extra 2fps. Also I don't have any 1050 or 1050Ti to make a video about that. There're some videos on youtube how manual overclocking works if you're interested in I can give you a link

Do you think that the boost will only give just 2 extra fps? I was expecting like 15-30 + fps according to some videos I've watched. If possible i could accept your link so i just try tho :)
@@TimmyTurner59 It's depended on the game how much performance you gain. If you play rdr2 and getting 25fps then overclocking may increase your fps by 5-10% which is 2-3 fps but if you play fps games then the difference will be higher than 2 fps. here's the video about gpu overclocking: ruclips.net/video/k1dGwFOdFLI/видео.html
After installing and opening Aorus, my PC stucked. After hard reboot, Aorus lunched automatically and PC stucked again.. another hard reboot :/ After 3rd stuck I had to start win10 in the safe mode and the damn Aorus uninstall
I bought a second hand gtx 1070 oc gigabyte I want to activate the oc mod but I have doubts if this will raise the temperature of the gpu a lot or if the voltages will rise?
No need to increase a voltage. You can achieve decent performance by increasing the core clock and memory clock
@@SoftwareGeek is that that is what I want to raise frequencies but without increasing voltage so ask thanks, and hopefully I do not modify my fan configuration in msi afterburner :p

Yes, of course.
Can I close the Aorus Engine after applying the OC mode? Will still be applied. Just want to make sure.
EDIT
I just test this by myself and find out that when I change the mode in Aorus Engine then it is applied and even if a close the program, the games will still run in the same mode. So, basically we dont need the program open while gaming.

@Safwaan OMG I think I don't know what's happened but after I went to local store they checked and inform me it was short circuit and whole graphics card main cheap was shot that's why it damaged now I think probably I shall buy 1660ti graphics

Could I overclock my Palit StormX Geforce GTX 1050Ti?
I don't have this version graphics vard but you can overclock it with msi afterburner. But make sure temps are great, dont overheat it is not worth it

Factory recommended OC mode never kills your GPU. But manual overclocking my cause some issues ...

Consecuences if i use the turbo mode a lot too? Im pretty much a noob in pc gaming lol, recently got a decent one.
Manual overclocking may cause some problems to your graphics card. In this video I have showed factory recommended overclocking and that's safe
