I'm an old subscriber and just now I was casually looking for a video to optimize my GPU and I clicked on this without realising the channel name and then I heard.... Only to realise I love his intro
It's also good to remember how much the 1050 ti is limited by its power limit of 75w. If I do a standard overclock like this one, my max boost clocks will sit around 1750mhz at a constant 80C (or higher) when under full load. If I use MSI's voltage curve option and drop the voltage from 1.06v to 0.943v (that's what works with my card), I can hit a steady 1900mhz at 70C, which is ideal for also reducing noise as my 1050 ti is in a laptop.
That's mostly worked because I think your Asic quality is really good for the card. So you need lower voltage to reach the same clock That's how GPU boost works. If you have more headroom in voltage and temperatures and power limit the card boosts the clocks further
Santiago Santiago. Yep in my mind that's 2 GHz so best of luck hoping that it reaches the target One more tip: the fan curves are usually very conservative bump it up to 70% manually Will help to get more stability
No problem. The voltage curve option has been a lifesaver for my laptop 1050 Ti, although it's definitely more complicated and takes some extra trial and error to find out the lowest voltage you can use to max out your clocks within that 75w TDP. I think your video is probably more accessible for most people who are just looking for a decent trade-off between time invested and clock speeds gained.

Santiago, do you leave your 1050Ti or any other card overclocked all the time when you're playing (not benchmarking) even if you can run the game fine at stock? What are your thoughts on GPU degradation because of overclocking? As far as I'm aware electromigration can happen even if you're at safe temperatures.
Yes, I always have the OC on, my thoughts are that it's free performance, by the time I get actual degradation that gpu will probably be outdated already (GTX 750 ti ran OCed since 2014, my GTS 450 was running OCed for over 3 years), I just don't like to mess with voltages, that can degrade your stuff much faster

As he said : It makes no sense if you copy, each card has different limits due to building and company, even the same card has different limits. You must try yours.
My computer blue screens at 305 mhz memory clock, I still manage to get 300 though is this normal? The average person usually has 600+ mhz clock in memory my core clock is 200 though which is stable and doesn't crash in games.
I have zotacgtx 1050 ti oc edition My over clock Core overclock - + 90 Mem clock - +1000 And I get in game MHz Core - 1911 to 1932 MHz litlle unstable Mem - 4504 MHz perfect What are ur MHz after overclock?
The core clock fluctuating is due to nvidia gpu boost 3.0, if temps go up it will automatically lower the clocks. You can up your fan speed to mitigate this but you won't notice that 21MHz difference anyway.
Hello, a question: The card must be with the OC on even when you are not playing a game (or something that requires such oc)? If I remember correctly, the nvidiainspector had something like levels of demand, where the OC is "only" applied when the usage is high. Is it the same with the Afterburner? Even with the Voltage?
one of my troops is selling his 1050ti to me for $55. it's the ASUS phoenix one with the shitty flower heatsink and doesn't have external pcie power. I wonder how far I could push the core clock on that card? since based on what I saw the card is already maxxing out it's 75watt threshold on 100% the current lockdown is the only thing that's stopping me on buying that card.

If I damage my gaming laptop for dual GPU set up that is powering my 42 inch 4K UHD smart TV you’ll take the heat for and buy me a new computer or graphics card set up right because you’re showing us how to do this so it only makes sense right thanks man you’re a good guy and great video by the way. Seriously, if you or anybody reading this has any knowledge about a dual GPU set up similar to what this guy has except not only have the 1050 TI but the Intel you HD 630 which I am using together I am projecting from my laptop with a green screen for gaming although that screen is never off because I am projecting to my TV as a monitor obviously between the video game TV and computer there is more than a boatload of different combination settings that I got interested in after I simply stumbled on a setting that looked amazing compared to all of the other settings I was changing in the options menu in the video game which all look the same except for when I change the refresh rate to 50 frames per second remind me 1920 by 1018 resolution and a 16.9ratio, and you came even more interested in when it blew me away how real the game felt and how much faster I seem to get everything like running and reloading after our use those settings which I spent hours on changing for a second time the other day as I change the settings on the Intel 630 card to a higher refresh rate which I now have to find Magic setting in the video game and the TV which is hit or miss because the specs that are bragged about always add up or make sense when you are choosing what should be the correct settings. For example in the settings menu under Just dance graphic videos didn’t send that my LG TV is a bit and was running off of 29 hurts but in the video game when I change the F 50 and using the resolution aspect ratio as stated above improve the picture quality a game by at least Just dance graphic videos didn’t send that my LG TV is a bit and was running off of 29 HTZ but in the video game when I change the FPS 50 and using the resolution aspect ratio as stated above it improves the picture quality and gameplay by at least 75% which at first because I had a darker image I thought was wrong at first just to realize how much more clear the gameplay was and now I’m searching for that or better again may have found it but just somebody dead one day researching I suppose getting sidetracked I need you because thatIs a given
Keep in mind that like said in the video, you might not get the exact same results, even if you have the exact same GPU (EVGA GTX 1050 ti SC). I usually like keeping temperatures at around 75ºC or lower. Just restart the pc if it crashes due to oc too high. Good luck!

H1Z1 is Free to play!!
I have zotacgtx 1050 ti oc edition
My over clock
Core overclock - + 90
Mem clock - +1000
And I get in game MHz
Core - 1911 to 1932 MHz litlle unstable
Mem - 4504 MHz perfect
What are ur MHz after overclock?
I don't get to 1900, closer to 1850, still good numbers :)
The core clock fluctuating is due to nvidia gpu boost 3.0, if temps go up it will automatically lower the clocks. You can up your fan speed to mitigate this but you won't notice that 21MHz difference anyway.
espero me sirva :) saludos
Suerte!
You overclocked my heart as well as my 1050Ti. Theeeeeenks.
+200 and + 1000 on mine
ArmorKingEmir are you still running it without any problems at those speeds?
That’s the exact settings with mine
I have this graphics card with i7, 16 gb ram.its a beast for gaming.playing every game in high setting with 100+ fps
Lo podrias hacer en español?
quizá agregue subtítulos luego, veremos ;)
Santiago Santiago. Por favor! Es imposible encontrar un video en español de OC para 1050ti
Thanks for this awesome video, Santiago. You helped a lot.
GJ I JUST BURN IT OUT RIP
one of my troops is selling his 1050ti to me for $55. it's the ASUS phoenix one with the shitty flower heatsink and doesn't have external pcie power.
I wonder how far I could push the core clock on that card?
since based on what I saw the card is already maxxing out it's 75watt threshold on 100%
the current lockdown is the only thing that's stopping me on buying that card.
One of your what
@@shafinrahman2199 troops/tropa, didn't mean it to be some cringy military call sign shit. it's just an another word for the word "tropa" from where I am.
For example in the settings menu under Just dance graphic videos didn’t send that my LG TV is a bit and was running off of 29 hurts but in the video game when I change the F 50 and using the resolution aspect ratio as stated above improve the picture quality a game by at least Just dance graphic videos didn’t send that my LG TV is a bit and was running off of 29 HTZ but in the video game when I change the FPS 50 and using the resolution aspect ratio as stated above it improves the picture quality and gameplay by at least 75% which at first because I had a darker image I thought was wrong at first just to realize how much more clear the gameplay was and now I’m searching for that or better again may have found it but just somebody dead one day researching I suppose getting sidetracked I need you because thatIs a given
is it ok to use other benchmarktools like this "Heaven UNIGINE" ?
Good video, what was the difference of fps between stock and max stable overclocked?
depends on the game, usually 5 fps more
thanks ! very helpful tutorial! I also love your other videos, keep the great work up! :)
Thnx bro! Keep up with the good work
Thanks Santiago,this helped a lot!
Thank you so much ive been playing cold war on 30-40 FPS and after OC-ing i can play at decent 50-65 fps sure helps!!!
@JuniorzGT how’d it turn out?
I have the MSI trident 3 rig.
GTX 1050
Core: 160
Mem: 650
great tutorial. super helpful thank you so much for the help
Can i use directly the games as benchmark? I mean if that's okay? Will there be any anomalies?
I also have an option to increase the "power limit", is it okay to increase it aswell?
Thanks for your hard and nice work.
I have Asus GeForce GTX 1050 ti. Does it matter if I use MSI Afterburner and would these same settings apply?
