Thank you for giving me the confidence that FOSS software can work as well as proprietary software. I recently switched to linux and I am loving it. Thanks!
Ive actually done over 20 drawings like this before. I ended up posting a video on my channel about it but I have actually taken my drawings I have originally designed on paper and I took a picture on my phone, transfered them over to Inkscape and I ended up redesigning them to give them a Color look to them. Ive done it for almost a year already.
the best thing to do in these cases, go to your youtube settings and change the playback speed to slow motion, to the very slowest one, and try and see what he's doing. I have to do it this way a lot of the time
Amazing! Thank you! This was what I was after. May I ask how you ‘break’ the beziar handle tool though? (So I can edit one side of the curve without the other side moving too)? It is currently straight but I want to be able to edit just one side like you do around the 3:27 mark. Thanks
Whwn i try colour my image it creates alot of them underneath.... i struggle to try colour my image its seems like there is a technical way. Then just colouring in
no. i don't think that is how recording software work. there's one OSS recorder, OBS (or take even any proprietary recording software for that matter), they'll record first and only after the recording is done, will they allow you to edit the recorded media.
Would love to practice these tutorials but any movement I make in the program it freezes momentarily (not responding) then it either completes what I asked it to do or it crashes. This is constant and I can't figure any of it out.
I have the same problem since I've updated to 1.0. I think it's because my computer is a bit older and everything's not working that well anymore. Maybe installing an older Inkscape version could help you. You wouldn't have the new features but the important ones are there.

Very nice, thank you! Little question: How did you increase the duplicated circle in all directions simultaneously?
Thanks so much for all your tutorials, so helpful. God bless. 👍😁
Excellent 💪
It looks great. How do you get a sense of how to shade the image, from the reference photograph?
Just a lot of practice and hundreds of pictures drawn)))
Nice stuff thank you

Your movements in the video were too fast to actually understand how you are doing it but thanks for uploading this much needed

wait wait, why are you dupliating the circle to create a border? couldn't you just enable stroke?

will this work for a doll house plan?
Yes. You might also look into SweetHome3D, also free.
