It amazes me how strong, alert, and adventuresome these babies are from an early age. The way they stare at their Mums and the world around them with such large eyes to take everything in. They must learn all these lessons in just a few short years so they can venture out on their own and possibly be leaders of their own troops. Yet they say humans are the smartest of the species. The adults worship and protect the little ones from birth through approximately age 5 or 6 and beyond while humans must make laws to protect children from the sick minds of so many of mankind. My opinion, I think humans could learn a library of knowledge if we took this species, Gorillas, Orangutan, Chimpanzee, more seriously other than entertainment, lab or zoo animals. We are the ones truly missing out! ❤❤❤

Moke is a regal looking gorilla lad. He looks just like Calaya. Or maybe he’s a good combination of both his parents. Such photogenic traits. Gorgeous.

Too cute 😍. I’m always intrigued by how the babies are able to hang on to their moms😊.

Interesting thing about humans; we are actually born with the same very strong grasping ability that other primate babies have. But we lose it after the first couple of months,

Idk why Zahra looks so cute riding on mommy's back so relaxes. It's like moms giving hee a tour of their home lol. So cute.

Awww - I love how little Zahra is making the most of all those ‘drive by’ snacking opportunities❣️ 😂 What a clever, beautiful little girl. ❤ It was really interesting to hear the keeper talking as well. Wonderful video - thank you! 🙏🤩 Just a quick question - do you know if there a medical reason why Calaya walks with her toes curled under (especially on her left foot), or is it simply because the ground outdoors is wet and chilly?🥶 Thanks 🤩

What a sweet video. Calaya and Zahra remind me of Cheej and Mei. So sweet together. Zahra has grown. It is wonderful that Mom is allowing her on the ground now. Moke is too funny. He really wants to be a part of all of this. Did Zahra actually eat any of that lettuce? Thanks so much for the video. Have u seen Lucy lately. Thanks again. Take care.

Yes, I also saw Lucy, and she came to the window to say hi. I'll post that video, too. Moke is always near, and I love that guy too! Little Miss Z is becoming independent. She still has one paw holding Mama's fur.

Such a cute baby! Mom sure likes to hike and she grabs on like its not a big deal so the name Zahra the Explorer fits her well... God bless them!

It's amazing how quickly she grabs on as mom move along. She's not only cute but very smart too.

Hate to tell that lady talking in the background who said the gorillas live 50 maybe 60 years but according to people like Alison Krauss who’s an expert they live 40 they’re lucky 50 years.
