For all those wondering about the stickers, Dequan himself said it was to keep track of what cards are in multiple decks, and which ones they belong to so he doesn't need to buy multiple copies, since the madlad has 20 decks
@kadynduran8795 I've been doing the same thing for a while, all my cEDH decks are in the same type of sleeve. I ain't buying more dual lands or moxes lol
@@AlsoNamedChad I'm going to be very blunt. The deck is Tier 3 at best. The deck will take a TON of practice, it's a very difficult deck. It's very hard to pilot well, best of luck friend. THe verse is your friend
I love Ryan's narration during these games. Very matter of fact. It's fun for the animation and commentary sometimes but I just love the steady pace of the description during these games. Always grateful for the channel I just wanted to share why I enjoyed this episode
I was thinking the same. Everytime I see Katherine play Rogh Silas her Mullingar are horribles and seems like she don't know at all. In my opinion in G1 that Imperial Seal shoulded be a remora or interaction, not a mana crypt greeding for the win.....
Actually, Ad Nauseam should get the "most valuable card" title. Even in the 3rd game, Jay had to steal it from Dequan's hand at instant speed to stop another Ad Nauseam win.
Nice games with clean wins! Really enjoy seeing people pilot blue farm. Probably the most interesting deck to watch people navigate, especially when there's multiple at the table!
I have a question. What is the purpose of the stickers? I am thinking that it's to use the same card in different decks, but Im not sure. Could someone clarify?
He uses them in multiple decks. This is so he only has to buy 1 copy of a card. He then uses the colored dots to denote quickly what cards go in what deck.
so all of the cards i use are in my cedh cube. I use the stickers to determine which decks they are. i can easily witch between my 20 cedh decks in between games. I use this method so I dont have to buy multiple copies of every card. In fact, the deck that Katherine is using is from my cube as well.
my theory is perhaps indicators for combo lines at the end of the first game chain of smog and apprentice both have the same number/color of stickers. Probably makes tutoring a little easier if you have multiple combo lines with redundant pieces

Am I figuring things wrong or did game 2 end with Katherine still having a Pact of Negation in her hand? It would have basically been the end for her AND Jay so I guess it wouldn't really be good for content to make it into a 2 player game, right?
That would just be a petty play and king making. There was no way for her to pay for her pact, so just keeping someone from winning when you have zero chance to win makes for bad games. Just generally seen as unfun, and bad etiquette,

13:47 did i miss a part? Where does the „infinite mana“ comes from? He just hast Llanowar Elfes für T:G to recast Ranger…. Where does the other mana come from?
As someone who’s been learning about what hands to keep or mulligan for turbo ad naus strategies, Katherine kept some sus hands. We’ve all been there, though. Greedy keeps gets us all. Some of the other hands people kept seemed suspect as well. Dequan game 3, for example.
agree on the mulligan decision but wouldn't you say that Katherine wasn't being greedy enough? I always see mulligans as being more greedy. You are getting less cards but optimal cards > bigger grip 90%ish of the time. At least that's why I equate more mulligans = more greed
Umm, actually, those creatures are arbitrarily large, not infinitely large. You gotta stop your loop somewhere, and that somewhere is waaaaaay earlier than infinitely. Yes, I am that guy, but I find math important and I want MtG players to know their stuff. Cheers.
another episode with tymna/kraum, or rograkh, bruse. Can't they use a tricolor commander that subs both partners, or at least other partners, which are rarely used? the wins are usually the same way, infinite dmg or borig oracle

oh damn, thought it was like a shorthand/ fast way to identify what to tutor
that's some big brain idea!!
Looks like Katherine is on the sticker meta too
That’s actually not a bad idea I definitely don’t wanna buy another mana crypt lmao

That Yisan win was amazing! Tutoring for Thought Knot Seer to stop Ad Nauseum is chefs kiss!
Chef's Kiss is red actually, so that would be an illegal play ;)
The instant-speed Thought Knot was sick as hell
I love the way that Yisan was piloted so interactively. It was a blast to watch!

Katherine is an absolute psychopath for keeping that G2 hand, god damn

G3 hand was Garbage as well.
G3 was sus! But I usually give people the benefit of the doubt. Tired or lazy? Or maybe learning the deck

I love how ryan during the game 2adnaus says culling the weak and the editor put in culling ritual.
Missed that K.O. Graphic. Glad to see it’s return.
Because one Craterhoof isn't enough, let's repeat so many time we don't even have a word for this number (yet).
Very nice video.
Loving the amount of gameplay uploads lately! Good stuff as always

so many insane turn 1s lol crazy games. love to see Yisan go off, bard bro refuses to become antiquated

what do the stickers on dequans cards mean.
Jay decided it was time to choose violence game 3

Probably a way to easily distinguish in which decks specific cards go
Dequan has them too 🤔

Yes, everyone should just remove Ad Naus from their decks. Clearly Quirion Ranger is much better 🤣
Uhhhh what was Katherine thinking game 2 keeping that hand
Katherine with the greedy keep game 2. Never keep a no lander.
Katherine's game 2 hand was awful. Her mulligans are not aggressive enough. Rog-si can go to 4 easily and still win.
