I had a game at Tier-1 where I had mindbreak trap in hand, 4 krarks and tavern scoundrel out. I hardcast that all over the place! :D
And then we went into time and drew because I literally only drew lands.

I love and laugh how the game immediately collapses the minute Fire Covenant resolves and the person who casts it fails to win.
Just took a look of that blue farm list, wow, facebreaker, Lavinia, mind break trap , fire convenant, everything make sense, but must be hurt when you resolve ad naus. My list is such a coward.

Always feels good when someone tries to win right before you and they suck all the interaction and get stopped and then it’s your turn and win. It’s also feels bad when someone goes off and you’re last in turn order and you save the game and the next guy wins

This game is such a good example of why instant speed wins are so good. I know Cam won "on his turn" but really he won on Brian's end step. Winota, on the other hand, needs Winota in play AND to be able to swing in combat. Makes her win speed so much slower unless you get lucky and just go ham on her triggers. Well done, Cam. Great win.

Huh? He had to cast his pieces and win the game all at sorcery speed, all he did on Brian's end step was cast a tutor (and a swords that didn't even resolve)

A perplexing chimera deck? The Chimera is one of the funniest cards on the planet and it also instantly creates so many rules questions

Part of me was expecting the immediate comedic turn after hearing "We're on turn 3 without a mistake." Kinda wild that it never happened in a relevant way.
As a Kinnan main, I felt bad for Tyler in this game lol

So I know I’m going to get hate for this but I’ve been thinking and why isn’t queen Kayla been croug from brothers war a viable option on the same level as winota? I know it’s an activated ability but you fill your graveyard, she is cheaper. You have an instant board state and you don’t have to swing in at all. If you have any untap effect then she is busted. Mana is easy to come by in cedh plus the artifact synergy. I would love to see one of you guys play the deck just for a game!
Also the fact that she can put artifact stax pieces and creature stax pieces is a added buff.

A rare misplay by Tyler, I believe. Brian was all in on that Covenant. The March was not that helpful to Tyler, but very damaging to Brian, forcing him to context it. Making Brian use his counters right before Cam's turn allowed Cam to win.

Nothing to see here, just putting back minebreak trap in every blue deck I own.
So this is an issue I have with people playing commander. When there's a deck the group thinks is the strongest and someone or multiple people go all in with their removal all it does is kingmake. I've seen it like a hundred times. They targeted Winota and cam wins for free basically. I think it would be more interesting to let winota stay a couple turns. But to each their own I guess.
King making is not what happened here. If winota doesn’t get targeted it will take over the game very quickly.
