    This is the best course I've ever seen. I'm a teacher too and I can learn from you not only the language, but also the teaching method

    95% understanding. I loved this lesson.

    Understood ~70%. This felt way harder than the videos just before this. For example "What do you like to do an a rainy day" has so much more visual input in comparison and the pace is way slower. Or video 131 "Go to bed" which is basically picture description and the color pink is one of the main topics of the lesson.

    Fun and easy to understand, 90%. Thanks :)

    I understood about 70%. There were a few times during conversation where there were no visuals and I got a bit lost. I enjoyed the pace though. I would like to come back to this one after I’ve got more listening experience under my belt.

    Very interesting lesson! Really enjoyed it!
    Didn´t know that they have Concorde flying between DMK and CNX, though. 30 minutes flight time is not something I have been able to experience/enjoy on my regular flights between the capital and CNX. ;-)))

    This video felt like a different level. Lots of words I didn't recognize and spoken at a faster pace. I "think" I understood 60%

      well I think 80% is perfect. Then you can watch it again and again and learn some vocabulary. This is what I do. Sometimes it may be boring but I try to watch a video at least 2 times. It takes time but I'm not in a hurry:)

    • @ComprehensibleThai
      @ComprehensibleThai  2 года назад +3

      Yes, 80% is perfect... but please do not rewatch a single video over and over, especially do not do that to the point of boredom. Please abandon the idea of studying. Just enjoy the videos--no need to try to memorize anything... your brain will do that naturally as time goes on.
      You can rewatch videos, but only after having watched many, many, many other videos first. If you are watching one video over and over and over before moving on to the next, you are using the videos incorrectly and your progress you will not be as fast.

      @@ComprehensibleThai alright. I'll be doing it this way. Actually this os the idea of learning. And probably it's better as I lose interest in learning often when I force myself too much. Thanks

      Your brain is not one single thing, and neither is your mind. Ironically, when you try to learn you are using the part of your brain that is not meant for learning language. The part of the brain that learns language only gets fully activated when your conscious mind gets out of the way and focuses on the experience/story.

    Understanding about 75%. This one seems to be a slightly faster pace than the first 100 videos of B2 which I enjoyed as it keeps me more engaged when the lesson moves a bit faster.

    Funny that trains are slower than cars in Thailand, I'm guessing they're diesel and not electric?
    Understood about 90%, thanks!

    Okay last video for today. My attention was fading in and out 🙈.
    Being from a huge country myself, these travel times weren't outrageous to me, but I wonder if Thailand has express buses or bullet/speed trains.

    • @ComprehensibleThai
      @ComprehensibleThai  Год назад +2

      Don't burnout. One or two is fine to start. Slow and steady wins the race... or at least steady. Fast is good, but only if it is sustainable. Just have to pace yourself.

    • @thaiimmersion
      @thaiimmersion Год назад +2

      Thank you for that affirmation and reminder! Don't worry, I have not obliged myself to watch more than 2 a day but I was having such a good time that I ended up watching 4! :)
      I learned my lesson about burnout and how I should approach this channel. That is to say, whether I'm watching one video or four, if at any point during the video I feel fatigued or too distracted, I stop the video and go do something else. XD.

    The speed of sound is 1,235 kph. Your plane to Chiang Mai is flying supersonic. What are you feeding those planes in Thailand? I really enjoy your lessons, so don't worry about any numbers.

      Thanks for letting us know. I have never flown from Bangkok to Chiangmai. I flew from Bangkok to Ubon, and then to Sulat Thani... but totally forgot how long the flights were... It was years ago.

      Hello Friend! At the level of this video the speed should be a natural pace. Please begin with the absolute beginner course if you are having problems with this:
