two great maestros, a wonderful solo Mr. Damrow and under the baton of the maestro maestro Jansons..Mr. Damrow, your 2 books are the best “new age” trumpet methods of today. My students and I are always grateful to you!
Could someone please tell me the name of the orchestra and the conductors name? There used to be a full performance of this song from them, but the video got deleted from RUclips and I thought this was the best performance out of all versions I've heard from other RUclips videos.
Well, the tempo was too fast, which explains how it could be played in one breath. The amazing thing, aside from the near-perfection of execution, is that one can detect practically no movement of facial muscles and no change of mouthpiece angle during the passage.
He just did (almost) all of that in one breath too
didnt even take a breath until the very end...
That's the way it's supposed to be done

I love how he's playing the E naturals with 1 and 2!
That's what you do on C trumpet because of how flat E is

Strange that the orchestra is not named! It is the Concertgebouw Orchestra....

Hello from Russia! Thank you. Trumpeter looks a lot like my dad, and he's a trumpeter, too :) an amazing coincidence of faces!
Wow. That is a very quick tempo !!
Seems about right
Your response hints that whatever you've listening is all slower than what is notated by Stravinsky.
excellent mais la prise de son est très mauvaise dommage

The tempo is at 116, though, no?
That's how we practiced it. That's how it's done!
His F’s are a bit sharp but still well played overall
MariachiGuy123 nothing is ever perfect in love performance. This was executed appropriately.
And do you have a job playing in the Concertgebouw?
Really. Oh well...I guess you can do better?
