    THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!
    I just recently bought the DJI Ronin S2 and it seems like Rocket Science to learn this and all the parts. I've been working on it the past 3 days. You've made a super simple easy to follow video. Way better than the DJI website.

      That makes me super happy to hear - glad I could help! Would be nice if DJI shared the vid so it could get to more people! :)

    Saved me from getting a headache thank you. Probably the most helpful RavenEye tutorial I have seen!

    This is the most concise explanation of how to connect the RavenEye to the Ronin gimbal and a camera. The other tutorials omit some basic details that are helpful to know if you're trying to truly understand how everything works. I appreciate the care and time you took to make this. HUGE Thank you!

    Thank you for the video! How is it possible that under the wifi SSID there is no password on my raven eye ? Is there an other possibility to find the password ?

    • @JasonRobertsVideo

      Try a default password of 12345678. You an also try a reset - forum.dji.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=226921&page=1#pid2564465

      Not sure, never tried, but I don't think so (you could try an app like Camrote to remote control your Sony camera)

    is there any reciever for this raven eye so that i can connect the raven eye to a camera switcher in live events?

    • @JasonRobertsVideo
      @JasonRobertsVideo  2 года назад +1

      That's a great question! I don't know of a receiver but if you used the app on a phone or tablet and there was a way to get a HDMI signal from the phone/tablet into a camera switcher that might work? What do you think?

  • @jwscheuerman

    Why didn't you show what happens when you toggle between portrait and landscape in activetrack orientation?

    • @JasonRobertsVideo
      @JasonRobertsVideo  Год назад

      I don't think that would have been relevant - do you think it would have been good to include it and not make the vid too long?

    What if my HDMI on my camera is on the right side

    • @JasonRobertsVideo
      @JasonRobertsVideo  2 года назад

      Hi Brett - you could see if you could get a right angle hdmi cable/adapter if a normal cable is getting in the way of a gimbal arm

      from the manual "Press and hold to power on or off. Press six times
      to reset the default Wi-Fi password to 12345678
      (the battery level indicators will blink three times
      when the password is successfully reset. A new

      You need to set the right settings for your camera - check this PDF from DJI to learn what to do for whatever camera you have: dl.djicdn.com/downloads/DJI_RS_2/RavenEye_Image_Transmission_System_and_Camera_Connections_and_Settings_en.pdf

      This is what the DJI docs say: "6. Power Button Press and hold to power on or off. Press six times to reset the default Wi-Fi password to 12345678 (the battery level indicators will blink three times when the password is successfully reset. A new password must be set in the Ronin app)." [dl.djicdn.com/downloads/DJI_RS_2/DJI_Ronin_RavenEye_Image_Transmission_System_User_Guide_v1.0_en.pdf]
