Essa revolta deles trata-se de medo, eles sabem que globalmente ela é a única com potencial real de bater a Biles, Rebeca tem algo que nem a Biles tem tanto quanto sua explosão e dificuldade, que é refino e elegância na execução. I think just coming back from 3 ACL surgeries and still being competitive is a pretty major accomplishment. No need to compare her to anyone else in that regard.
This tiff between Simone and Rebeca is plain silly. I mean, Simone is the absolute GOAT. And Rebeca? She's totally killing it out there on the world stage. Us Brazilians, we know the score. She's making waves in a country where footie's the top dog (not like in the States), and gymnastics gets the short straw when it comes to funding and attention. Rebeca's fight? It's just straight-up inspiring. All I'm saying is, Rebeca's gonna give it her all and nail it, shine and no matter what goes down.
Really solid. I just wish they’d get rid of the piked jaeger because sometimes the goes waay over on the handstand shirt to do a D skill with no CV. It would be better to just do an extra stalder at the beginning of the routine and just do a giant 1/2 near the end for her grip requirement. Only 0.1 less and like 0.3-0.6 less in deductions
I think if she tries them it will only be in the event finals AFTER of course Quals, TF and AA are over. This is what most gymnasts do as well, save the most difficult for the finals.

At least they have more with which to work with because it has been years since these two competed against each other and Femke has been very dominant since.
This video is a bit dishonest by splicing together multiple routines (or practice sessions) and trying to propose that she would do all of these elements in a single program, and ignoring that she would have had massive deductions for errors like her missed handstand on UB and the sloppy landing, or the way she nearly face planted her dismount on BB. They're trying to give her full credit for skills that she would never get in competition. At the Brazil trophy, she only got a 5.9 D score on her UB, 5.9 on BB (not the inflated scares in this video).

There is NO WAY she can do Simone's level of difficulty with her level of execution that is why Simone ALONE posted 14+ on EVERY APPARATUS at last year's Worlds and was the ONLY one to qualify for EVERY event finals. Rebeca could not even make the bars final and only the 2pcd rule allow her to make the beam one. So all this 'better in execution' did not win her the title and will not win her it in the future neither until she can show some consistency at EVERY STAGE of a competition while Simone is absent from that said competition.

I love Rebeca and she is an exceptionally talented gymnast, but let's be real here. The only way she beats Simone is for Simone to make mistakes and for Rebeca to have the meet of her life. The only reason that she won gold on VT at last years Worlds is because Simone's coach was on the mat as a spotter. Even with the fall, if Simone hadn't had to eat that .5 deduction, she would have won. Well, she's doing the vault now without a spotter so we're not going to see that happen again.

I don’t think it’s totally fair to say Rebeca would lose to Simone the VT final if Simone didn’t have the 0.5 deduction, because Rebeca went last and could perform her Amanar if nedded. She knew it was not necessary. I don’t think Simone would feel comfortable to win with a fall, considering the excellent performance of Rebeca. Simone is the best vaulter, no doubt (with the exception of Cheng), but last year Rebeca deservedly won.

Rebeca could have padded her margin if she'd done the Amanar as well as she did her Cheng, which would have made sense because she ended up winning by only 0.201 points. That is a very thin margin that could have easily been erased had she had made any kind of error and not had the D score to make up for it. If Simone had landed her Biles II, she would have won easily even if Rebeca landed a flawless Amanar (which would have added only .40 to her D score). Rebecca is a tremendous vaulter, but when you consider that her most difficult vault is Simone's "easy" vault, there really isn't a comparison. And now that Simone is doing the Biles II without a spotter on the mat, Rebeca can't count on that .50 deduction eating into SImone's score anymore. So again, Rebeca needs to be perfect because even if she performs and Amanar and a Cheng, she's still starting off with a full point less than Simone's D score. This is why she needs Simone to make a huge mistake (like that fall) in order to beat her. If Rebeca wants to be able to win without Simone making a mistake, she really needs to figure out how to negate some of Simone's D score advantage. For the sake of her knees, I don’t think she will be doing those extra hard dismounts on bars and beam.

Remove the full in dismount on beam and the whip double layout and she can definitely execute this
