I love how detailed this is, whenever we talk about er requirements of the character the team matters which is often overlooked but isn't here, good video.
In fact, my Hu Tao now punch harder with Furina+Jean+Yelan team. already used this team on current Spiral Abyss and it's surprisingly does faster clear than when i'm still using XQ+Yelan+Zhongli. Not to mention, it's also a comfortable team with fluid rotation imo. From this experience alone, i decide to C2 furina now and it goes better.
I have been running the triple hydro variant with Mona, Furina, and Yelan and have been doing quite well on the previous and current abyss. I did have to dodge a bit otherwise i would end up dying (mainly coppelia), but it brought back that risky playstyle while providing fast clear times if executed well. Also dont worry, because you arent the only one as I also strongboxed the maiden's set...

Bennett can still use Noblesse with HP/Healing. Jean vs Bennett depends on you and the content you are up against. I would tend to prefer Jean for comfort and general use.

I've used this team before and come to surprise hits very hard..lol I know people are gonna say "nah why bother overloaded is a horrible non meta based team comp" although it's a silly idea please take the time to find this comment and think over it a bit. Shielders are way to overestimated for hu tao, she doesn't look it but she is an absolute tank. Especially with xq. If not running furina go for kazuha/sucrose and forego shield. Or just bennet
you know what,, just play whatever character you want... i play whatever character i like and ignore mechanical bla bla bla bla... just hit and win the abyss... u guys to much wasting time learning mechanical skill... which is not fun IMHO
I love playing Hu Tao with Furina, they're the ultimate big hat flat justice duo! If you have C2 Furina, I highly recommend trying Nahida instead of a healer to provide up to 250 EM, another damage dealer to benefit off of Furina's Fanfare, and Burgeon for even more damage (which does a lot if you give Hu Tao EM Sands). Just switch Furina between Ousia and Pneuma each rotation to make sure her team is topped up during each second rotation. C2 helps to enable this playstyle, as Furina is able to reach max Fanfare just from healing each ally by 16% or 64% total team hp. I've found as well that during rotations in Ousia, Hu Tao is also able to drop below 50% HP and benefit from her ascension passive and Homa bonuses. With this team, I've found myself hitting charge attacks dealing 160k-180k with Furina's burst at level 8 thanks to the EM from Nahida.
@@clementwg3477 for the most part during her 7-12 second infusion, just careful playing. Dash cancels are very helpful in this regard to give her some i-frames, especially if you have C1 Hu Tao. Otherwise, you could always just keep Furina on Pneuma and play full HP Hu Tao; the DMG bonus on Furina's burst far exceeds Hu Tao's 50% pyro bonus anyway.
Honestly I don't like Bennet especially for Hu Tao who moves a ton, guess I should count myself lucky for randomly pulling Baizhu for no reason back then.
Great video o/ And actually great news for my NA acc as I did end up grabbing Furina. Although I guess it's suboptimal; how much worse is Xingqiu compared to Yelan in the Bennet team, and is Yelan more worth for an account focusing on HuTao than for example Nahida or Kazuha for a second team?
For the first question I don't think it's "worse" but it's the usual trade of defensive options vs Yelan's buff. If Hu Tao loses a charged attack because she gets interrupted then Xingqiu is even better in damage, technically. So it kind of depends on the enemy: free to do whatever you want? Yelan. For the second question I would say it kind of depends on the person. Double Hydro would be nice to have for Hu Tao but VV setups are just more complicated but as good if not better, at least at making Hu Tao shine. Bennett, Xingqiu, Kazu with Tao can really get a lot out of her. Yelan in this case actually is easier to play as double Swirls are more accessible (Xingqiu applies Hydro even by touching enemies and that can ruin setups). But even if the account is focussing on Hu Tao I would try to choose depending on a 2nd/3rd team.
I have thought for very long whats the current best team for hu tao, and still havent reach a solid conclusion. Furina-Yelan-Jean-Hu Tao: I really have doubt on hu tao's damage because she isnt able to vape consistently. I often see 30-40k CA damage instead of 70-100k vape CA. The CA damage is very instable and inconsistent. And VV isnt able to swirl pyro. And lacking of shield means vulnerable to interruptions, and lack of stamina makes it harder to dodge. However, the duo hydro damage is higher, just that i do not know whether this is a positive trade off or actually a downgrade. In the end, i cant help but think the usual zhongli-yelan-xingqiu-hu tao team might be more consistent, easier to play, and higher damage on hu tao (maybe, because of consistent vape). Let me know your opinion if you have a concrete conclusion for this question.

Furina doesnt work in all teams, is not a problem, is just a fact to balance the character.. stop using her on hutao teams forcing the non-synergies they have.....

I have both Furina and Hu tao, they do sync together, and my hu tao does 90k dmg per charged atk, its kinda a hassle that i dont have zhongli to keep my hu tao safe
I have been playing Benny/mona/furina/hu tao with mona on 4pc maiden with prototype amber and its so much fun. Even with the antisynergies my hu tao is hitting like 150k vape CA's its such a blast
I tried both teams: Hu Tao Furina Jean Yelan and typical Funerational. Funerational with Xiangling came out best, otherwise damage is very comparable. Team with Zhongli still comfiest though if your characters do enough damage. Furina can be used somewhere else for hypercarry, or xingqiu can be taken out for national teams. It really depends on who you need on the other team for abyss.
Well you are farming for Furina anyway so you would naturally get some Marechaussee for when they are together. Also your build really needs more Crit Rate!
@@darkrai5441 what else do you have? Bennett is actually one of the best options, otherwise any healer works alright as long as they dont interrupt Hu Tao from doing Valorize. And btw you can keep Zhongli, its just that at one point Marechaussee wont work anymore and its a big waste
I wish I had the ability to use the Bennett rotation, but I just can't So I stay with Yelan and Jean Such a nice team I didn't even was seaching for a set for HuTao but I saved for months for Furina and didn't went for Newvillete or any other character and ended with a nice ser HP 33,000 Crit 78 after bonus Crit dmg 273 EM 303
You can but I did not cover her as she has the drawbacks of other options without really giving any advantage. Ocean-Hued DMG and Prot Amber is all she provides, not too bad but also not that great for a 5-star.

I didn't do any calc and I think 18% is a bit too much but it is indeed much better. Also since it's only viable with Furina you are going to farm the domain anyway for her so it's a win/win :)
But hu tao passive should still be working, its stated that is 50% or lower, so if furina brings it down to 50% its still should activate. With carefull use, you could probably pretty easy use both buffs, being furina burst and Hu tao passive
the thing is that even though your hp may be close to 50%, your healers will constantly bring hutao close to full so even though you may be below 50% for some parts of the rotations, eventually hutao loses the 50% buff for the majority of the fight
i have a question, so my team comp is currently hu tao at c1, furina at c6, xingqui c5 (dont have yelan sadly) and i was thinking of bennet for that burst heals and attack buff, so my question is how whould my team attack rotation be? i was thinking furina with burst, then skill in her pneuma form, then attack 6 times, then switch to bennet burst, then to xingqui skill, burst skill (sac sword r5,) then hu tao with skill and burst when cooldown is around 7 second ish. is there a better rotation or better team comp?
This team is just waiting for a better CRYO team wide healer. coz right now we only have charlotte. Cryo as the fourth member is perfect on this team since it can freeze enemies.
One thing that's worth experimenting with is HP% Goblet, since Furina gives so much DMG% (especially combined with Yelan burst) depending on the main stats of the Goblet it could lead to more DPS
I'm actually a bit curious about Carry Bennet teams using Furina. Is it worth even going as far is putting Bennet on M-Hunter to patch up his lacking Crit-Rate when using Mistsplitter?
@leonardomeloni69 Yeah, I think Carry Bennet is a cool archetype. He has surprisingly good motion values and can make your off-fielder stronger to boot. Bennet's also not locked into a specific on-field period by buffs, so he can fill in as an on-fielder for more quickswap styled teams on top of providing his usual buffs. I've been more curious about it since I've been trying out teams with Bennet/Furina/Kazuha. I haven't had time to rank them objectively against more standard teams, but they're pretty strong. Notably Kazuha goes kinda crazy when he gets to have some damage %, and a real attack stat on a full EM build. The Kazu vapes can get pretty nutty. I just haven't had the time to dig into optimizing it more, but the anecdotal evidence from its performance tells me it's got merit to it.
@@JFarenci dont know man, seems very Delulu to me considering Furina buffs stronger subdps teammates too and Bennett will never have the strength of Alhaitham, Hu Tao or Neuvillette

After using Furina and Hu Tao together, my strongest team in my account is the Hu Tao team.

Well you are farming for Furina anyway so you would naturally get some Marechaussee for when they are together. Also your build really needs more Crit Rate!

But hu tao passive should still be working, its stated that is 50% or lower, so if furina brings it down to 50% its still should activate. With carefull use, you could probably pretty easy use both buffs, being furina burst and Hu tao passive
the thing is that even though your hp may be close to 50%, your healers will constantly bring hutao close to full so even though you may be below 50% for some parts of the rotations, eventually hutao loses the 50% buff for the majority of the fight

i have a question, so my team comp is currently hu tao at c1, furina at c6, xingqui c5 (dont have yelan sadly) and i was thinking of bennet for that burst heals and attack buff, so my question is how whould my team attack rotation be?
i was thinking furina with burst, then skill in her pneuma form, then attack 6 times, then switch to bennet burst, then to xingqui skill, burst skill (sac sword r5,) then hu tao with skill and burst when cooldown is around 7 second ish.
is there a better rotation or better team comp?
This team is just waiting for a better CRYO team wide healer. coz right now we only have charlotte.
Cryo as the fourth member is perfect on this team since it can freeze enemies.

One thing that's worth experimenting with is HP% Goblet, since Furina gives so much DMG% (especially combined with Yelan burst) depending on the main stats of the Goblet it could lead to more DPS
Baizhu is actually a better comfort for the team than jean cause of the intrreption resistance

I'm actually a bit curious about Carry Bennet teams using Furina. Is it worth even going as far is putting Bennet on M-Hunter to patch up his lacking Crit-Rate when using Mistsplitter?

@leonardomeloni69 Yeah, I think Carry Bennet is a cool archetype. He has surprisingly good motion values and can make your off-fielder stronger to boot. Bennet's also not locked into a specific on-field period by buffs, so he can fill in as an on-fielder for more quickswap styled teams on top of providing his usual buffs.
I've been more curious about it since I've been trying out teams with Bennet/Furina/Kazuha. I haven't had time to rank them objectively against more standard teams, but they're pretty strong. Notably Kazuha goes kinda crazy when he gets to have some damage %, and a real attack stat on a full EM build. The Kazu vapes can get pretty nutty.
I just haven't had the time to dig into optimizing it more, but the anecdotal evidence from its performance tells me it's got merit to it.
@@JFarenci dont know man, seems very Delulu to me considering Furina buffs stronger subdps teammates too and Bennett will never have the strength of Alhaitham, Hu Tao or Neuvillette
That could be fun and allows you to switch whenever you want to heal teammates. Maybe I'll give it a shot, my Bennett is super invested haha
