Nilou can also use Flower of Paradise Lost if you have her signature with good sub-stat rolls on flower and feather into hp%, and with flat hp rolls on other pieces it's possible to reach 74k hp mark
Isn't it only good on the main "triggerer" of bloom (EM kokomi, single dendro, ...) Since you always want HP% on nilou anyway, she won't make use of Flowers of Paradise Lost
@@riomi2712 nilou still has decent ownership of blooms in pretty much all of her hydro trigger teams. the only time where she doesnt get ownership is with triple hydro with dendro trigger. besides, any HP stats past 74k HP are literally dead stats on her. its like having more than 100% crit rate on a crit DPS. if youre reaching 74k hp without set bonuses, gilded/flop become her best sets.

If i only have 1 set of flowers of paradise lost, i wont put it on nilou. (Im also pretty sure no one would try to keep an HP% piece from flowers of paradise lost and expect to put it on nilou. Arent they all searching EM?
I’ve wanted Nilou for awhile now. Planned to get her + the key, but spent most of my wishes on cloud retainer and her weapon. I still need furina and want her cons, should I skip Nilou? I also already have a rly good hyperbloom team

25:01 slight oversight here with Jean. Her burst is actually only 64 energy cost cause of her A4 passive. She still needs alot of ER but not as much as you think. The only time this doesn't apply is if you're a new player and you haven't ascended/built her otherwise its almost always 64 burst cost.
Definitely had some fun playing the MH set on Raiden, as Raiden Double Hydro is so much more comfy to play than the old Raiden Hyper. But now with Chevreuse both teams are equally fun and comfy to play.
furina just does almost no damage with her burst that it’s counterintuitive to play with raiden. still, they support each other in their own way, but how it works is kinda silly. raiden doesnt get the crit boost when she’s off-field, and furina doesn’t deal much damage with her burst. raiden yelan furina jean is still one of her best teams, but in this case, raiden is just replaceable. chevreuse teams with raiden are just more efficient.
This is why we need artifact loadout feature. Furina's existence makes MH both a blessing and a curse (at least for me). Furina being the universal support she is, sometimes switching to MH build on your DPS results to more damage "in practice" and not all of us have the patience to change every single time 😂
I would argue that the more important feature right now is adding character customization screen to abyss because right now you need to exit abyss to even change a sword on a character or do pretty much anything AND THAT ANNOYS ME A LOT.
@@kibathefang6022 I never said anything about abyss being hard and yes it is very easy indeed but I occasionally do drafting with other people so there's that and I also enjoy playing my characters with different roles on different kinds of team.

Noblesse is much better on Shenhe, both for her personal damage AND for the team’s damage, than trying to squeeze out more ATK stats with 18% ATK 2p effects to increase the quill’s buff, unless you can have another support already on Noblesse.
I have seen some calcs on this and at least with ayaka, 2pc2pc ATK% is just as good as NO. But that was a few months ago and I might be misremembering. Personally having better NO pieces was easier than 2p2p atk% so I run her with NO
This video is exactly what I needed thank you! I'm not a veteran player so I was overwhelmed trying to catch up and farm all the different sets usually considered BIS. Since I've farmed MH the most, I'm pumped to see the calcs that I can use it on almost all my characters :) I'm actually excited to keep farming artifacts now lol
i think that you should mention archaeic petra for zhongli. it is arguably more consistent than tenacity because his pillar hits are super unreliable in practice. also, 35% dmg > 20% atk most of the time.
For real, 4pc Tenacity is simply pretty bad on Zhongli in practice. It amazes me how guides never tell how little worth is it. Imagine players farming it just for Zhongli, being bothered by not having it, etc 💀 Tenacity is a good recommendation, but it's more just about lack of great options. Besides Archaic I would also point out to Noblesse, cause not rarely burst can be very useful for petrification or shield breaking, plus you can invest in some DMG from it. Zhongli's pillar -> Tenacity is very overrated, while his burst -> Noblesse is underrated. Deepwood is another viable option.
@@MarionFRwhile I see the merit of DW zhongli, I think he's generally too slow and lacking in value for dendro teams in general. That long burst animation unironically can cancel out Noblesse's dps increase Getting healing that usually triggers HBs, or doubling up your dendro for slightly more EM and better team synergy is almost always more dps than slotting Zhongli for some reason Tl;dr: Use Kirara instead if you really have to have a DW shielder, unless your Zhongli is whaled out with at least C2R1

Genshin is a very different game from what they are playing. What in calculations you will see only as 'DPS loss', pretty often is just situational, what skillful players use for their advantage, as you could learn from them.
Im a bit confused why Marechaussee is put as a upgrade for Ganyu and ayaka. Since it trade blows with Blizzard Strayer based on whether enemy is frozen or not I feel like it side grade fits its situation perfectly.
It is explained why.. because blizzard set is only good if you can freeze enemies.. which doesn't work on bosses.. MH becomes more consistent because of this since you will always get the crit rate bonus.. and remember, this is a set PLUS Furina.. if you don't have Furina to pair with these carries then there's no point using MH set..
Correct. It isn't an upgrade. It is a set that swaps one condition that needs to be met (enemy must be frozen to get the full benefit) for a set of conditions (Furina must be on the team, character needs to be on-field long enough to build stacks). But if those conditions are met, it should result in higher damage.

I mean ATK would be nice on Jean if it was on her sands (and you didn't need ER). But I feel like Anemo Damage and Crit just makes more sense, lol. More ATK main stats don't dramatically increase her healing output, and I find she usually fully heals my entire team just by casting her Ult when they're all at 50% HP (which is a common scenario for Furina teams). VV IS her best set when she's being run in a team that can benefit from it, but I go 2VV/2ATK because I run mine as a quickswap damage dealer with Heizou, Faruzan, and Furina lol.
I agree with you, but example where the added healing is really nice to have: i run her with neuvi, furina and zhongli; all three of them have phat hp, +hydro resonance does its thing too, so she needs as much attack as possible in that scenario
How would you even get melts I tried and when I did melt it was about the same as my burnmelt team and there is no resistance to interruption in a furina team
@@AutumnBoat74275 yeah, this doesn't make a lot of sense. You can play Ganyu without a shield, but not really in a Xiangling team. And Furina's buff won't make up for how it can screw up reactions and lower the teams survivability.
Ive been testing MH set on C2 Itto with C2 Furina and have yet to have it beat my Husk set on the same team (Gorou and prototype amber Ning). So far my best MH set has slightly higher CA damage, but decently lower Ushi damage, which is relevant because you can Ushi twice in one burst rotation. With more farming it might eventually even out. I would need some godly MH pieces to outright beat my Husk set though.
@@TheGenshinScientist oh yeah I'm not doubting your math. Just saying that at this point, any Itto users probably have a cracked Husk set, so building a MH set to beat is not going to be easy.

GREAT! I was looking for comprehensive info about Hunter set for a long time. I was even trying to calculate myself a bit, but I'm not that deeply into this. Moreover, I feel that in general there is way too little content and considerations that are not focused on specific character, but taking the matters from the other way around - what can be done with this weapon or artifact, how valuable they are. Besides omitted 4*s, other thing that I still wonder about is - how much viable can become goblets with different stats than elemental DMG bonus - when combining buffs from Furina, Kazuha, Golden set, etc?
Can Ayaka even use the set tho? I thought her Burst snapshots & Furina can't drain your HP during Burst animation, so you shouldn't get any stacks. Marechausse also doesn't work off-field. Same for Raiden, a lot of her damage is frontloaded, so not critting the initial slash is a big flop imo. So you'd prefer a consistent buff like Emblem.
Wait why didn`t you put Marechaussee on Childe and Yelan, they can totally be played on field with it, you could even onfield Furina if your Golden Troupes artifacts are way worse lol
C6 PepeW For Childe, it's probably because his best team is international which can't have furina. Idk about double or triple hydro Childe tho, I don't have him.
How is 4p Golden Troupe on Yae only 4% worse than Gilded Dreams when played on-field? I thought the difference would be a lot more noticeable. In my specific case my Yae is C0R1 and already has a ton of Dmg% boosts from the Electro Goblet, R1 Kagura's and her EM passive. I feel like the extra EM and Attack from Gilded would be more beneficial as I'd go well into 150-170% damage% bonuses in total with the Golden Troupe 4p. Diminishing returns should make it worse no? I'm currently running a 2p/2p and trying to decide which 4p I should farm. I like playing her on-field in an aggravate team but I'd like the set that's better overall since I do also play her off-field a lot and I don't want to have to farm a second set for that. When considering both on- and off-field which set is generally the best on her? Would be great if you could help out, my Yae is currently at top 7% on Akasha System and I'm trying to get to top 1%.
MH is just an extra option for any dps with furina and it's great like that, but outside of abyss, when you don't play perfect rotations, you're often at around 45-50% CR which is not comfortable for me but it's great that my navia has 2 great sets usable when i never put a foot on her BIS domain
marechaussee is a "comfort" artifact set that can be use on any character that use crit for damage +point if the owner have furina then their account would breath even easier but still, player's should not be mistaken to take marechaussee as a better option then "on set" artifact for the specific character, they served different purpose after all on set give better damage and marechaussee give consistent damage, is really depend on player's to choose which to farm/use/currently having
If I had Neuvi or some fontaine unit that needs this as bis I'd get it. Refuse to refarm for all the units I use for when paired with Furina. It's also only CR, i'm not a fan of building around this set at all and having to have other artifacts for when Furina isn't present.
From a specific angle even with Xiao's sig and ascension stat i found M.Hunter to still be more preferable because of resin efficiency and how you can get away with not targeting anymore Crit Rate and focus on other stats. Xiao also does NOT need Furina to wield the set since his Burst form already drains his HP and if you pair him with Bennett, voila he using the set to full effect already. Yes i am aware there are situations where Vermillion is better depending on stats but the difference in strength is too small to matter. In my experience it made building Xiao easier, not harder. Personally I'd put him on Always BiS.

One thing for ganyu is that you can't run furina in melt teams where auras are already so fragile, also you have to give up bennett/defensive options and lower your hp too
i want to point out that while 4pc shimenawa is better than 4pc HoD on paper, in practice it is much worse since u wont be able to use his melee burst and u will need to build a lot more er. also, at high artifact investment, 4pc vermillion beats 4pc MH for xiao (debunked in xiaomains subreddit).
Noblesse on Baizhu is worse than 4-pc Insructor even in double Electro, due to uptime and how the EM buff also improves the Anemo unit damage and even cascades on their own buffs! Also, C2 makes his damage builds viable for Quicken teams.
@@denyskofanov688 Then no, the amount of fanfare stacks you get there is not the highest since Kuki/Bennett are the healers there. The avg dmg buff is not much higher than what you would get from Yelan If you replace nahida with Baizhu on those teams then what you are saying can be true
@@TheGenshinScientistfrom my own experiences certain characters (especially those who ascend with dmg%) can deal similar or slightly higher dmg with an ATK/EM/HP/DEF goblet when paired with furina, a few examples are kokomi in mono hydro and noelle (especially her)
i think for ST situations like bosses yeah, on AoE or where there are multiple enemies, idk cause his app is somewhat bad unless if you can't drive. i prefer yaoyao or Full EM kuki as deepwood user cause their skills can hit more enemies at once.
How about Tighnari? He loves to do charged attacks and the crit stats are nice but not sure if he can be a good option paired with Furina in a Kuki hyperbloom, for instance.
My alhaitham is truly built different if my 2PC/2PC EM is beating my 4PC gilded by a very noticeable margin~ I do have a decent set of marechaussee hunter but not good enough to beat my 2PC/2PC EM build from my experience gotta keep farming
Yeah I'm REAALLLLYYYYY not convinced. Your "BiS with Furina tier" is my defintiion of a sidegrade... Lyney needs to CA to lose HP, MH on him feels quite... Rigid ? At the end of the day, while on paper Furina opens new teams, way to play and optimal artifacts sets, it's such a hassle to change equipment just to play a character with her for few minutes that I find it extremely annoying to farm for... Furina is heavily overhyped. Don't get me wrong, she's strong, but if playing Kazuha or Benny would require to change artifact sets on your carry or subdps to have better results than with set you probably a long ass time already farming for... There would be an issue. Funnily enough, Xiao is a case where he can use the set by himself easily enough that even if it's a sidegrade it's too interesting to pass on. At the end of the day... Some artifact sets feel like a massive bait... And while MH and GT are clearly best in slot for some chara and are super powerful... The more I farm it and the more I feel it's not that good in term of value... Hopefully we'll get a powerful super set in the first dungeon of the 2 next regions ! I'm still waiting for my 5* Instructor!
When cloud retainer comes out do u think that shimenawa will be good on diluc if you have c6 Bennett? And if you dont maybe desert pavilion ignoring the anemo dmg bonus
Don’t forget Diluc’s burst gives him 20% Pyro damage bonus. So you don’t want to build Shimenawa if you favour consistency in your damage and rotations.
It's only really good if your set u have on now doesn't meet good cr standards or they are unbuilt. No point in changing a characters build who is already very high cr just for the 4 piece bonus esp if they don't benefit from the 2 piece substat
Maybe, but don’t forget the guaranteed stats from going to around level 85+ character, level 90 weapons, and level 9 talents. For artifacts, the MH/GT domain is best if you have skill damage (Albedo, Fischl), normal attack, or HP sacrificing characters. If you plan on elemental master heavy teams (e.g. Hyperbloom, Burgeon, maybe Overloaded and Burn-Melt), you can consider farming the Gilded Dreams and Deepwood Memories domain instead. If you have no idea who you want your main team to be, another option is to spam all the Weekly Bosses and use the Glad/Wanderer/Exile/Instructor pieces temporarily as you decide, since you’d at least hopefully have a good selection of weapon billets. (I started by talking about levelling up first as I saw too many account reviews of someone saying they can’t clear abyss because they were strong-boxing artifacts trying to squeeze more damage out of their level 70 Hu Tao / Xingqiu / Furina rather than levelling them up for a guaranteed 35+% increase even if the artifacts were “totally wrong”.)
I don't agree with MH on Ayaka or Frezze Ganyu, not only does Furina have 100% on hydro application, not needing to stack MH before bursting is lot easier to do. Even against boss where you can't use 4pc Blizzard to its full effect, why would you use Furina for Freeze over just playing mono cyro? Also, why would you play Ganyu melt with a hydro unit? You never going to get a melted charge attack off...
Really the only issue is that the set stops working once you remove Furina from the team. And it's a big issue, because you have to make space for Furina, and you have to make space for a healer to go with her if you already don't have one. I'm personally using Marechaussée only on characters you can use it without Furina.

I mean ATK would be nice on Jean if it was on her sands (and you didn't need ER). But I feel like Anemo Damage and Crit just makes more sense, lol. More ATK main stats don't dramatically increase her healing output, and I find she usually fully heals my entire team just by casting her Ult when they're all at 50% HP (which is a common scenario for Furina teams).
VV IS her best set when she's being run in a team that can benefit from it, but I go 2VV/2ATK because I run mine as a quickswap damage dealer with Heizou, Faruzan, and Furina lol.
I agree with you, but example where the added healing is really nice to have: i run her with neuvi, furina and zhongli; all three of them have phat hp, +hydro resonance does its thing too, so she needs as much attack as possible in that scenario

How would you even get melts I tried and when I did melt it was about the same as my burnmelt team and there is no resistance to interruption in a furina team

@@AutumnBoat74275 yeah, this doesn't make a lot of sense. You can play Ganyu without a shield, but not really in a Xiangling team. And Furina's buff won't make up for how it can screw up reactions and lower the teams survivability.

Ive been testing MH set on C2 Itto with C2 Furina and have yet to have it beat my Husk set on the same team (Gorou and prototype amber Ning). So far my best MH set has slightly higher CA damage, but decently lower Ushi damage, which is relevant because you can Ushi twice in one burst rotation. With more farming it might eventually even out. I would need some godly MH pieces to outright beat my Husk set though.
They are insanely close value wise (2cv worth of stats) so that makes sense

GREAT! I was looking for comprehensive info about Hunter set for a long time. I was even trying to calculate myself a bit, but I'm not that deeply into this. Moreover, I feel that in general there is way too little content and considerations that are not focused on specific character, but taking the matters from the other way around - what can be done with this weapon or artifact, how valuable they are. Besides omitted 4*s, other thing that I still wonder about is - how much viable can become goblets with different stats than elemental DMG bonus - when combining buffs from Furina, Kazuha, Golden set, etc?
Can Ayaka even use the set tho? I thought her Burst snapshots & Furina can't drain your HP during Burst animation, so you shouldn't get any stacks. Marechausse also doesn't work off-field.
Same for Raiden, a lot of her damage is frontloaded, so not critting the initial slash is a big flop imo. So you'd prefer a consistent buff like Emblem.
With ayaka you just need to delay the burst a bit in her window. Furina makes it good to backload it (N1CEQ) a bit anyway due to how her burst works

How is 4p Golden Troupe on Yae only 4% worse than Gilded Dreams when played on-field? I thought the difference would be a lot more noticeable.
In my specific case my Yae is C0R1 and already has a ton of Dmg% boosts from the Electro Goblet, R1 Kagura's and her EM passive. I feel like the extra EM and Attack from Gilded would be more beneficial as I'd go well into 150-170% damage% bonuses in total with the Golden Troupe 4p. Diminishing returns should make it worse no?
I'm currently running a 2p/2p and trying to decide which 4p I should farm. I like playing her on-field in an aggravate team but I'd like the set that's better overall since I do also play her off-field a lot and I don't want to have to farm a second set for that.
When considering both on- and off-field which set is generally the best on her? Would be great if you could help out, my Yae is currently at top 7% on Akasha System and I'm trying to get to top 1%.
I think gilded would be more impactful to farm overall, magnifies her on field better which is the better role damage wise

MH is just an extra option for any dps with furina and it's great like that, but outside of abyss, when you don't play perfect rotations, you're often at around 45-50% CR which is not comfortable for me
but it's great that my navia has 2 great sets usable when i never put a foot on her BIS domain
marechaussee is a "comfort" artifact set that can be use on any character that use crit for damage +point if the owner have furina then their account would breath even easier but still, player's should not be mistaken to take marechaussee as a better option then "on set" artifact for the specific character, they served different purpose after all
on set give better damage and marechaussee give consistent damage, is really depend on player's to choose which to farm/use/currently having
If I had Neuvi or some fontaine unit that needs this as bis I'd get it. Refuse to refarm for all the units I use for when paired with Furina. It's also only CR, i'm not a fan of building around this set at all and having to have other artifacts for when Furina isn't present.

From a specific angle even with Xiao's sig and ascension stat i found M.Hunter to still be more preferable because of resin efficiency and how you can get away with not targeting anymore Crit Rate and focus on other stats. Xiao also does NOT need Furina to wield the set since his Burst form already drains his HP and if you pair him with Bennett, voila he using the set to full effect already. Yes i am aware there are situations where Vermillion is better depending on stats but the difference in strength is too small to matter.
In my experience it made building Xiao easier, not harder. Personally I'd put him on Always BiS.

One thing for ganyu is that you can't run furina in melt teams where auras are already so fragile, also you have to give up bennett/defensive options and lower your hp too
raiden can use golden troupe with an atk or Em sand for quicken teams
started as a boring artifacts guide, ended up as the definitive Set and ER for every character xD ofc forgets about dehya lol amazing video!
i want to point out that while 4pc shimenawa is better than 4pc HoD on paper, in practice it is much worse since u wont be able to use his melee burst and u will need to build a lot more er. also, at high artifact investment, 4pc vermillion beats 4pc MH for xiao (debunked in xiaomains subreddit).
Noblesse on Baizhu is worse than 4-pc Insructor even in double Electro, due to uptime and how the EM buff also improves the Anemo unit damage and even cascades on their own buffs!
Also, C2 makes his damage builds viable for Quicken teams.

i think for ST situations like bosses yeah, on AoE or where there are multiple enemies, idk cause his app is somewhat bad unless if you can't drive. i prefer yaoyao or Full EM kuki as deepwood user cause their skills can hit more enemies at once.

At the end of the day, while on paper Furina opens new teams, way to play and optimal artifacts sets, it's such a hassle to change equipment just to play a character with her for few minutes that I find it extremely annoying to farm for...
Furina is heavily overhyped. Don't get me wrong, she's strong, but if playing Kazuha or Benny would require to change artifact sets on your carry or subdps to have better results than with set you probably a long ass time already farming for... There would be an issue.
Funnily enough, Xiao is a case where he can use the set by himself easily enough that even if it's a sidegrade it's too interesting to pass on.
At the end of the day... Some artifact sets feel like a massive bait... And while MH and GT are clearly best in slot for some chara and are super powerful... The more I farm it and the more I feel it's not that good in term of value...
Hopefully we'll get a powerful super set in the first dungeon of the 2 next regions ! I'm still waiting for my 5* Instructor!

As someone with c3r5 Raiden, MH was actually around 10% better than emblem, mostly because emblem makes me overcap ER

Don’t forget Diluc’s burst gives him 20% Pyro damage bonus. So you don’t want to build Shimenawa if you favour consistency in your damage and rotations.
It's only really good if your set u have on now doesn't meet good cr standards or they are unbuilt. No point in changing a characters build who is already very high cr just for the 4 piece bonus esp if they don't benefit from the 2 piece substat

Maybe, but don’t forget the guaranteed stats from going to around level 85+ character, level 90 weapons, and level 9 talents.
For artifacts, the MH/GT domain is best if you have skill damage (Albedo, Fischl), normal attack, or HP sacrificing characters. If you plan on elemental master heavy teams (e.g. Hyperbloom, Burgeon, maybe Overloaded and Burn-Melt), you can consider farming the Gilded Dreams and Deepwood Memories domain instead. If you have no idea who you want your main team to be, another option is to spam all the Weekly Bosses and use the Glad/Wanderer/Exile/Instructor pieces temporarily as you decide, since you’d at least hopefully have a good selection of weapon billets.
(I started by talking about levelling up first as I saw too many account reviews of someone saying they can’t clear abyss because they were strong-boxing artifacts trying to squeeze more damage out of their level 70 Hu Tao / Xingqiu / Furina rather than levelling them up for a guaranteed 35+% increase even if the artifacts were “totally wrong”.)

I don't agree with MH on Ayaka or Frezze Ganyu, not only does Furina have 100% on hydro application, not needing to stack MH before bursting is lot easier to do.
Even against boss where you can't use 4pc Blizzard to its full effect, why would you use Furina for Freeze over just playing mono cyro?
Also, why would you play Ganyu melt with a hydro unit? You never going to get a melted charge attack off...

Really the only issue is that the set stops working once you remove Furina from the team. And it's a big issue, because you have to make space for Furina, and you have to make space for a healer to go with her if you already don't have one. I'm personally using Marechaussée only on characters you can use it without Furina.
