Looks like a pretty cool little device. Like you mentioned I am taking an old laptop and making something similar. I will have to make an arcade stick though.
FBA is final burn alpha, it looks good but the only thing that puts me off is that it's folding an if someone slam's the screen down the joystick would break the screen.
Even though it has a mali GPU graphics (which are not always nice to hack), it might be able to have linux run on it (not sure though) because it has a rockchip rk3128 CPU about the speed of a pi3bplus (which uses a53 cortex). So I think it might be possible to run UnrealTournament2004 (aka ut2004) on it (e.g. via Debian), and thereby all the mods for that engine (sports games, ww2 shooters, puzzles etc.). Take a glance at videos for ut2004 and see the graphics are reasonably nice 3D (circa original xbox standard or gamecube, i.e. The same as or slightly better than PS2). The linux kernel has wii-remote drivers installed by default since about 2010, so it could be cool along with those Powkiddy-A13 clicky buttons.
Honestly you're better off buying a sandisk micro SD and building your own ROM library anyway (why tf would anyone want to play Silent Hill on an arcade stick?!)
RUclips algorithm is BS. I've been looking for all A13 reviews and your video never came up until I used a google video search. Nice review btw.
Thank you ;)
that alien game is part of my childhood, like it alot.
Nice

You will, wile I play better with a pad I'm loving the clicky arcade feel of the controls here.
great video, exactly how I like it!
Thank You

To be fair if someone is stupid enough to shut the screen when the joystick is present they deserve a broken screen.

Will do thanks for the heads up.
Can you attach a custom gamepad?
I could only get some cheap Chinese USB pads to work not XBOX ones but that does mean it has some compatibility,
As far as movies go, can you watch movies straight off of a thumbdrive or do you transfer files from the thumbdrive onto the machine?
Hey man can gou add your own games?
Yup as I said in the vid it does mean some re naming of files for certain systems and there are videos out there on it just search a12 and a13 videos.
I bought it. But my sd card has been corrupted. Where do I get the files that come in the arcade?
